Executive Order Creates Election Commission

Obama_signingPresident Obama signed an executive order last week creating the nine member Presidential Commission on Election Administration, a move he signaled as a priority during the State of the Union speech.

The Commission, co-chaired by Bob Bauer, who was Obama’s lead counsel in his 2012 campaign, and Ben Ginsberg, who held the same role in the Romney camp is tasked with studying polling locations, voter access, voting machine technology and much more.

The executive order defines the mission of the panel as follows:

“The Commission shall identify best practices and otherwise make recommendations to promote the efficient administration of elections in order to ensure that all eligible voters have the opportunity to cast their ballots without undue delay, and to improve the experience of voters facing other obstacles in casting their ballots, such as members of the military, overseas voters, voters with disabilities, and voters with limited English proficiency.”

Though a very small percentage of polling locations experienced delays on Election Day 2012, locations with arguably the highest turnout in the nation had few problems to note. Minneapolis, for example, had some polling locations with more than 100% turnout, yet Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie reported the day ran smoothly. Ritchie said of the estimated 3 million people statewide (MN had an estimated 76% voter turnout), “I think people had a really good experience.”

The debate about long lines and extensive wait times rears its head every few years, but the math simply doesn’t add up. Following the 2010 census, in accordance with a law enacted by Congress in 1975, polling locations were reviewed in each state and redistricting took place. Each Congressional district, state senate district and other districts were evaluated and potentially changed, and then approved by the states. The redistricted lines are based on census numbers so that each polling location has approximately the same number of residents, and therefore, approximately the same number of eligible voters.

Though the President’s new commission intends to study and recommend changes related to the “number, location, management, operation, and design of polling places,” “ballot simplicity and voter education,” and the “efficient management of voter rolls and poll books,” there is no mention of any attempt to dissuade voter fraud. In fact, the stated purpose of the commission is to “improve the experience of all voters.” As we have learned in the last few election cycles, not all voters abide by election laws.

Voter fraud is rampant in the United States. For a few examples, click here: EJ Haust Voter Fraud and here: Voter Fraud Still an Issue

Each state has authority over its election practices including ballots, technology, and polling locations, but the recommendations of this new commission are “intended to serve as a best practices guide for state and local election officials…” according to Josh Earnest, Deputy Press Secretary for the White House. That could prove valuable to activists seeking to make voting controlled by the executive branch.

Though the commission won’t have authority to directly override state election rules, its recommendations could conceivably be used as a tool by the Department of Justice to use when persuading judges to impose changes at the state level. The President is essentially giving credibility to a group of nine of his friends to create a “study” that will later be seen as the authority on election best practices. What Secretary of State, governor, state legislature, or judge will have the instinct to deny recommendations by this panel of experts?

The commission is required to submit its final report 6 months following its first public meeting. It will have staff, though none of the nine members will have a salary. All members will be allowed reimbursement of travel expenses.

Obama’s America Becoming a Police State

The video link here is beyond chilling.  The most chilling aspect of its beginning is the looks on the faces of the people.  These are people who seem to be surprised and confused.  These things don’t happen Obama's Gestapohere!  It often seems as though things happen overnight but it doesn’t happen that way.

Tyranny doesn’t happen over-night.  It happens in a series of events that build on themselves until you wake up one morning and life as you know it is gone forever, liberty is a thing of the past.  Adolph Hitler didn’t just start rounding up Jews on a whim.  He spent years putting the infrastructure in place to install his totalitarian state.  They had control of everything; the media, the child indoctrination centers they referred to as “public schools”, the monetary and economic structure, and national and local police departments.  Hitler and his henchmen made Jews the scapegoats.  Friends and neighbors soon began to hate Jews for who they were. German citizens bought into the blame game and generations of co-existence was gone in 6 years, all due to propaganda in the government controlled media and the government controlled schools.

The Aryan German people let Hitler have the Jews, and even helped him, because he was leaving them alone.  Then one day he struck; swiftly, efficiently, thoroughly, and without warning!!  The average German citizen woke up and found the Gestapo at their door because a disagreement over a debt, or a minor insult to a neighbor orhitler4 stranger led to them being denounced as traitors over a grudge.  The Gestapo kicked in their door and dragged them out into the street.  Some were shot dead on the spot; some were taken to prisons and tortured by sadists seeking information that didn’t exist. Most were never seen again.

This happened to your everyday, patriotic German citizens.  They had gone about their lives, ignoring or accepting the things that happened over the years as Hitler, Himmler, Goebbels, Goering, Heydrich, and the rest ignored the rights of citizens and passed decrees that were “unlawful”.  Unlawful to whom???  Hitler didn’t see rounding up, “enemies of the state”, and shooting them as “unlawful”.

The people had seen what these men were doing but said, “it can’t happen here, we have a system of laws”.  They didn’t think Hitler was a despot.  He was a great leader, Der Fuhrer, who would never turn on his “Aryan” citizens.  He “cares about us”!!  Then one day the Jews were under control and he came back for them.

When Pastor Martin Neimoller made his famous “first they came for…” quote he could have been speaking about America’s society today.  Many will ridicule this video, and the whole concept of Nazi Germany, because “it can’t or it won’t happen here, we have a Constitution”.  But take a look at this picture and answer the question, “when did this; become this?”.  Police to GestapoOur society in the United States of America today mirrors the society of 1936 Germany.

Hitler offered money to those who turned in their neighbors.  New York City is now offering a $500 bounty for snitching on anyone possessing an “illegal weapon”.  Holding a grudge against someone?  Want to cause them some misery?  What is happening in America today HAS happened before and we are taking the exact same path they took then.  Apathy and denial are the two most dangerous states of mind in any free society.

How can people ignore or dismiss the Patriot Act, NDAA 2011 and its “indefinite detention without charge”, the TSA, the Department of Homeland Security, or the explosion of local SWAT teams and the military equipment they are being given by the federal government?  Policemen now kick in doors in the middle of the night dressed in black face masks and body armor head to toe.  The uniforms are just that, uniform around the nation.  The equipment and the tactics designed for an urban battlefield are being ”uniformly” spread to police departments and sheriff’s offices throughout the nation, and being funded with primarily federal funds.  Helicopters participate in “live fire” operations using blanks, in American cities, in conjunction with local police forces.  Why are they doing this???  Who are they going to round up and put in the FEMA camps that were a “figment of my imagination” in 2010?

How can anyone with any amount of cognitive ability not see where both political parties are taking us?  How does someone dismiss 2 billion rounds of ammunition, tens of thousands of full automatic “assault rifles”, and MRAP Urban Rescue Vehicle 2armored vehicles with gun ports and machine gun mounts operated by local law enforcement?  What SWAT team really needs this kind of firepower?  Who are they going to use this equipment against?

Both political parties refuse to secure the border and do anything about all the illegal aliens.  It is very apparent that they aren’t looking to round up illegal aliens so why do we find ourselves with an internal security apparatus having so much armament?  No Demomcrat Logofree nation has ever had this kind of domestic military force and remained free for long.  This is the SS and Brown Shirts of Nazi Germany being paraded before our very eyes yet many people deny there is any danger.  It reminds me of a joke where a woman catches her husband with another woman and he asks her “are you going to believe what I tell you or your LYING EYES”???

Conspiracy Theory??  At one time I thought so.  By themselves many of the events over the last 10-15 years pose no “clear and present danger”, but when they are looked at with an open mind and in the view of 20th Century history it is another vision altogether.  We the People are calledrepublican logo mentally unstable and enemies of the state by the “leadership” of both political parties.  Veterans who defended liberty are labeled as mentally ill by members of Congress.  Some have been “detained” and had their lawfully owned firearms confiscated in a clear abuse of the Constitution.

Can’t happen here?  Won’t Happen here???  Don’t bet your life on it!!!!  Are you going to believe what they tell you or are you going to believe “your lying eyes”???  Time is short and one morning Americans will wake up and find out their nation is in the grips of a totalitarian regime as evil as Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia.

I submit this in the name of the Most Holy Trinity, in faith, with the responsibility given to me by Almighty God to honor His work and not let it die from neglect.

Kagan ’09: ‘There is No Federal Constitutional Right to Same-Sex Marriage’

Let’s take a stroll down memory lane.  It’s 2009, and Elena Kagan is answering questions during her confirmation hearing for the position of Solicitor General within the Obama administration. According to William Jacobson at Legal Insurrection, who posted this piece on March 25, this is what she had to say about gay marriage:

1. As Solicitor General, you would be charged with defending the Defense of Marriage Act. That law, as you may know, was enacted by overwhelming majorities of both houses of Congress (85-14 in the Senate and 342-67 in the House) in 1996 and signed into law by President Clinton.

 a. Given your rhetoric about the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy—you called it “a profound wrong—a moral injustice of the first order”—let me ask this basic question: Do you believe that there is a federal constitutional right to samesex marriage?

Answer: There is no federal constitutional right to same-sex marriage.

b. Have you ever expressed your opinion whether the federal Constitution should be read to confer a right to same-sex marriage? If so, please provide details.

Answer: I do not recall ever expressing an opinion on this question.

Since gay marriage has been thrusted into the political limelight again, Jacobson has resurrected his posts about Kagan from three years ago.  Now, when Jacobson posted about Kagan’s remarks, he was criticized by some conservatives, including Hot Air’s Allahpundit, over the semantics.  National Review’sMaggie Gallagher went a bit further, and called Jacobson’s post “shameful.”  Thankfully, Gallagher’s colleague at National Review, Ed Whelan, provided Jacobson with her letter to then-Sen. Arlen Specter (D-Pennsylvania) at the time to clarify the issue.

In a March 18, 2009 letter (embedded below, at pp. 11-12), which is not publicly available but which Whelan kindly provided to me, Kagan supplemented her written answers at the request of Arlen Specter. Here is the language in the letter seized upon by my critics to show that Kagan really didn’t mean what she said, and really just was opining as to the current state of the law:

Constitutional rights are a product of constitutional text as interpreted by courts and understood by the nation’s citizenry and its elected representatives. By this measure, which is the best measure I know for determining whether a constitutional right exists, there is no federal constitutional right to same-sex marriage.

These sentences do make it seem as if Kagan walked away from her prior written statement that “[t]here is no federal constitutional right to same-sex marriage.”

But these sentences are not the full supplemental response. Immediately preceding these sentences was the following language:

I previously answered this question briefly, but (I had hoped) clearly, saying that “[t]here is no federal constitutional right to same-sex marriage.” I meant for this statement to bear its natural meaning.

When the full supplemental statement by Kagan is read in context, there is nothing to suggest that Kagan was walking away from her written statement that there is no federal constitutional right to same-sex marriage.

Of additional interest is that when the Massachusetts Supreme Court found a state constitutional right to same-sex marriage, 18 Harvard Law School professors signed onto an amicus [i.e., friend of the court] brief supporting that ruling. But not Kagan.

Now, it’s Justice Kagan, and I wonder if she still thinks that “there is no federal constitutional right to same-sex marriage.”  Then again, she could just hop on the bandwagon like everyone else.   Sorry Politico, but this is the real ‘gotcha‘ story.

How Joe Biden Spent $585,000 for One Night in Paris

Have you really thought about that? Here’s how he did it.

There are more stories about this than I have toothpicks and we owned a restaurant. (Trust me, you end up with a lot of toothpicks after closing a restaurant.) I have a much different take on things but first “the facts:”

"No worries America"

“No worries America”

When you think about it – I mean really think about it – can you even imagine having the desires (plural), let alone the time and energy of what’s left in a 24-hour day, to think of all the places you could go or of all of the friends you could take or could you find enough hours in what’s left of that day to spend $585,000 for a one night stay – even in Paris with an entire security entourage? And just who’s running our country without this brain child of gluttony at the helm?

Rush Limbaugh hit this nail on the head: People like this self-serving hooligan could not and would not (because they could not) do such things with their own money. They couldn’t afford to, even on their Congressional pay and perks. OUR money is paying for this amoral gluttony and whether you are a Liberal or Conservative, if you aren’t mad as hell about this waste and excess then there’s something seriously wrong with you – get out of here. Now.

“The Facts”

Joe Biden’s $585,000 hotel bill makes no sense, MSN Money

Biden did spend an evening in Paris in early February, but there are no details in the document about whether this contract is accurate or what the final hotel bill came to. A standard room in the hotel costs about $475 a night, and the royal two-bedroom suite runs about $3,900 a night. The Weekly Standard also points to another government contract for Biden’s London hotel stay in early February. The contract, to the Hyatt Regency London, totaled $459,339. An associated document with that contract said it was for 136 rooms for 893 room nights.

Few expenses are spared when Vice President Biden hits the road, racking up five-star hotel bills of $500G, Daily News

It can cost in the neighborhood of $500,000 a night — and that’s just for the hotel.Biden’s one-day visit to Paris on Feb. 4 required more than 100 rooms at the five-star Hotel InterContinental Paris Le Grand.

The lodging cost taxpayers $585,000.50, according to federal contracting records that emerged Friday.

Joe Biden runs up bill of $585,000 for just ONE NIGHT in five-star Paris hotel (and taxpayers will pick up the tab), Mail Online

When Mr Biden and his hefty entourage stayed in Paris for an evening in early February and it cost $585,000.50 for that single night. The Vice President likely rented out more than 100 rooms in the Hotel Intercontinental Paris Le Grand, though they must not have gotten a group discount rate.

The documentation for this contract is not as detailed as the London one, so the cost per room is not available.  However, just like his London hotel, the Hotel Intercontinental Paris Le Grand is a five star hotel. Again, security concerns prevent these type of contracts from being open to bidding, but if the government was able to do some comparison shopping, the Hotel Intercontinental has a special offer, “Find a lower price elsewhere and your first night is free.” The Vice President stayed in Paris for one night.

Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, spent three days traveling Germany, London and Paris in February. They stayed at the five-star Hotel Intercontinental Paris Le Grand then spent $459,388.65 at the Hyatt Regency London the next day, also according to the Weekly Standard:

If you want to know how Biden did this against all reasonable human odds, you’re in the right place … Go here.

This is no joke. That’s the only reason I don’t parody this lamebrain administration’s unconscionable thuggary-theft of taxpayer money more. You need to read this linked article and make time for its video. Until then this will only get worse. GOP Old Guard Republicans are no better. They’re lovin’ it just as much. All on the backs of our labors (or entitlement program cut, whatever your case may be – it DOES effect you). Stop it or stop whining.

Contact your legislator today. Tell them to stop this gross spending as they deprive taxpayers who’re paying their overly extravagant bills. If not you, who? We could function better without a government than with this one. Pick your poison. I’ll take my chances with YOU any day.

Are All Democrats, Politicians and Their Voters, Marxists?

Diane FeinsteinThis past week the Senate Judiciary Committee passed Sen. Diane Feinstein’s gun control measure that outlaws more than 150 different firearms by a strictly party line (10-8) vote, despite a 2nd Amendment that clearly says “shall not be infringed”.  It doesn’t say “some firearms can be infringed”, or “some magazines can be infringed”; it says “shall not be infringed”.  State legislatures in California, Illinois, New York, and now Colorado have all passed some sort of gun control measures that clearly go against the Constitution, the 2nd Amendment, and the intentions of our Founding Fathers.

I often wonder what happened to the “Blue Dog Democrats” who were so vocal and so visible during the TEA Party rallies in 2009/2010.  Where have these “champions of freedom” in the Democrat Party gone?  When their re-election was in danger they were more than happy to stand up and deny any support of Democrat Party Marxism.  Now??? Crickets!!!!

I know of no Democrat in Congress, or any state legislature, that has stood up in the last few years and defended the Constitution, as written by our founders.  Are there no Americans left in the Democrat Party?  Are all of them determined to destroy our Republic and replace it with a dictatorship as long as it is led by their party?  Is party loyalty so intense that they are willing to let a 237 year history of liberty and self-determination go down the tubes for the sake of a political party? John F. Kennedy

What happened to the Democrat Party of my childhood, the Democrat Party led by John F. Kennedy?  Kennedy believed in low taxes; and valued the 2nd Amendment, self-determination, and the responsibility of American citizens to stand on their own two feet and make a life for themselves and their families. And, above all, JFK valued liberty. The following quotes from JFK reveal his thoughts on America and what our way of life means.

“A tax cut means higher family income and higher business profits and a balanced federal budget…. As the national income grows, the federal government will ultimately end up with more revenues. Prosperity is the real way to balance our budget. By lowering tax rates, by increasing jobs and income, we can expand tax revenues and finally bring our budget into balance.”

“Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty.”

“Every time that we try to lift a problem from our own shoulders, and shift that problem to the hands of the government, to the same extent we are sacrificing the liberties of our people.”

“By calling attention to a well-regulated militia for the security of the Nation, and the right of each citizen to keep and bear arms, our founding fathers recognized the essentially civilian nature of our economy. Although it is extremely unlikely that the fear of governmental tyranny, which gave rise to the 2nd amendment, will ever be a major danger to our Nation, the amendment still remains an important declaration of our basic military-civilian relationship, in which every citizen must be ready to participate in the defense of his country. For that reason I believe the 2nd Amendment will always be important.”

Today’s Democrat Party is the polar opposite of JFK.  They endeavor to strip We the People of the rights given by God and guaranteed by Demomcrat Logothe Constitution in the Bill of Rights.  JFK would never sit in a Judiciary Committee meeting and tell citizens we don’t have the right to defend ourselves from criminals, or from a tyrannical government.  Read he last quote again.  He would never tell us we must either turn in our weapons or have them confiscated to “protect us” from each other.

I have often written, in criticizing the Republican Party, that JFK would not be able to win the nomination to be the party’s presidential candidate in 2008 or 2012 because he would be too conservative.  If the Republican Party has gone that far left and is considered the party of “right wing extremists” by Democrats, what does that say for the Democrat Party?  I know good people, delusional but good, who are Democrats.  How is it they can vote for today’s Democrat Party and stand by those who seek to strip them of their rights as they strip mine from me.  Do thAfraid to speak against tyrannyey believe that they are going to be allowed to have guns just because they register with the right political party?

Are Democrat voters so naive or so downright stupid that they think their party will only destroy the basic rights of citizens who are not Democrats and not also apply that destruction to them?  Can anyone really be that clueless?  I find it almost impossible to believe that out of 55 Democrats in the Senate there are none who will stand up for liberty as outlined by John F. Kennedy.  Am I to understand that not one of them, nor any in the House of Representatives, will stand against the clearly Marxist leadership of their party and put the freedom of their children and grandchildren ahead of the agenda of people who are undoubtedly seeking the destruction of our Republic to Bible, flag, guns, Our rightsreplace it with a dictatorship, ala Hugo Chavez?

I know there are a lot of Republicans, such as Lindsey Graham, John McCain, Mitch McConnell, and others who are willing accomplices in the destruction of America but at least there are some who stand for the Constitution.  Are there no Ted Cruz or Rand Paul type Senators in the Democrat Party?  Are there no Louie Gohmert, Ted Poe, Jim Bridenstine, Tim Huelskamp, Justin Amash, Jason Chaffetz type Democrats in the House of Representatives?

What has happened to the Democrat Party?  I can only assume that every voter who casts a ballot for a Democrat believes in tyranny and absolute power coming from the party elitists in Washington D C (De Cesspool).  Can nEagle- America Deserves Bettero Democrat voter see where these people are taking their nation?  I find this distressing to a level I don’t know how to describe.  If people who I believe are upstanding patriotic Americans can go into the voting booth and choose people like Charles Schumer, Diane Feinstein, Barbara Boxer, Sheila Jackson Lee, Hank Johnson, Charles Rangel, Nancy Pelosi, etc. is there any hope for our nation?

I submit this in the name of the Most Holy Trinity, in faith, with the responsibility given to me by Almighty God to honor His work and not let it die from neglect.

The 2nd Amendment: Who Decides Its Meaning?

Eagle-2nd AmendmentThe Constitution of the United States of America, Amendment II:  “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

It isn’t a matter of whether the government bureaucrats and politicians understand the phrase “shall not be infringed” or not, but rather a matter of they don’t acknowledge the basic tenet of the Constitution or any of the Amendments in the Bill of Rights.

Barack Obama has called the Constitution a “charter of negative liberties”, meaning it was written as a bad thing not a good thing because it limits the authority of government.  He was referring to the redistribution of wealth at the time but has since applied this same demented opinion to every liberty guaranteed to We the People.  Obama sees himself as above the Constitution and the law of the land.  He seesIl Duce Obama himself as a dictator, giving and taking away at his discretion.

The 2nd Amendment is under serious attack from both state and federal governments, on many fronts and by a diverse group of people.  It is no secret that the Democrats have long desired to establish their dictatorship by first disarming We the People.  This battle has been going on for years and isn’t anything new.  One new aspect, however, is the Veteran’s Administration sending letters to veterans stating they may not be mentally capable of handling their own affairs and therefore also not mentally capable of owning firearms.  There is an appeals process but that will result in the desired outcome; veterans “deemed” mentally incompetent and left without the means to defend themselves, their families, and their God-given rights, stripped of every right they fought to preserve for others.

What is frightening is the new allies of the Marxist Democrats.  House Republican Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-CA-22) has come out and statKevin McCarthyed that gun control and immigration “can be done without help from Republicans”.  Odd, I thought McCarthy is a Republican, but says he will work with Democrats against Republicans. It seems as though neither political party much cares what the Constitution says, nor what the Founding Fathers had in mind when they wrote it.  Now we find the Republican Party establishment coming out in favor of various gun control schemes, all designed to ultimately render We the People as slaves of an autocratic dictatorship.

Several states, including Illinois, New York, California, and now Colorado, have come out with legislation that is clearly unconstitutional yet politicians on both sides of the aisle “deem” themselves wiser than our Founding Fathers and have decided they have the authority to Constitutionmake such decisions.  They will decide who can protect themselves and how that can be accomplished.  Some of the more prominent self-defense suggestions have been whistles, call-boxes, scissors, ink pens, wetting one’s pants, and it gets ridiculous beyond here.

As government officials at the federal and state levels seek to disarm We the People, they have ramped up the quantity, and lethality, of weapons possessed by such defense oriented agencies as the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Agency (NOAA). YEP, that’s right! the group that forecasts hurricanes.  I am not sure why they need full automatic M-16’s and billions of rounds of ammunition but who am I to question the “elitists” in Washington????   Local areas are finding IED-proof armored cars popping up and helicopters flying over their cities firing machine guns.  The Department of Homeland Security (sic) just acquired 2700 armored vehicles, plus thousands of full automatic rifles, handguns, and several billion rounds of hollow point ammunition.  For the novice, hollow points cannot be used in war; they have been banned by the Geneva Convention.  And while there is some discussion about who these “Urban Rescue Vehicles” (with gun ports) actually belong to there is no question they are being fitted for urban warfare in American cities.

Much has been said and written about the eventuality that a Supreme Court case will once again decide if We the People can defend ourselves or not.  With the decision of John Roberts on Obamacare it is obvious the 2nd Amendment is in danger.  Who can citizens depend on to stand up for the Constitution and the God-given rights it guarantees?  We know Democrats despise liberty and will stop at nothing to enslave us.  We are reminded quite often that the Republican Party is no better.  The Republican establishment would rather “get along” with Democrats than do their duty to “uphold, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States of America”.

I believe that the freedoms engrained in the Constitution are OUR freedoms, given by God, and only acknowledged as sDon't Tread On Meuch and guaranteed by said Constitution.  Those who decide what the 2nd Amendment means are We the People.   If We the People allow any governmental entity; the federal government, state government, any court, or any politician, to determine our ability to defend ourselves from evil we will find ourselves as slaves to those who make such decisions.

Rights are given by God to individuals.  Those individuals confer authority and responsibility to others to govern in the best interests of We the People.  When government, at any level, “deems” themselves the final authority over our lives we find tyranny, suffering, poverty, and slavery.  The rights guaranteed by the Bill of Rights are MY rights.  The Constitution does not give rights to government, it sets limits.  It limits the action government is allowed to take and provides for the people to be the final arbiter of what is legal or not legal.  Those sitting in their ivory towers making rules for We the People toFreedom Flag live by are stepping well across the line of Constitutional bounds in a number of categories.  They have decided they are wiser, smarter, and more worthy of deciding what is or is not permissible, and the Constitution be damned.

We the People must stand strong against this tyranny.  If allowed to fester, tyranny will envelop all it touches and grow a cancer that is fatal to a Republic.  When those seeking ultimate power are the ones who are judge, jury, and executioner justice will never prevail.  It is up to us, We the People, to stand up for the rights, values, and responsibilities given to us by Almighty God.  It is up to us to band together to preserve a liberty bought with the blood and lives of thousands of our predecessors.  It is up to us to preserve that Flag Exercise our Rightsliberty for our descendants.  If we cower in fear or dismiss the danger and allow this to go on unchallenged we will see generations of Americans living under the yoke of oppression such as has been seen in Nazi Germany, Soviet Russia, Communist China, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, and other dictatorships.  I will not allow the Supreme Court, or any other government agency, to make me a slave.

I, for one, will not stand by and let this happen.  We the People have seen the greatest nation to ever exist slide into disrepair due to our neglect of our responsibilities to insure liberty for future generations.  WE have been asleep at the wheel as tyranny has been implemented slowly.  Now that We the people are awake it is incumbent that we act to preserve what liberty is left and fight to restore that which has been lost

I submit this in the name of the Most Holy Trinity, in faith, with the responsibility given to me by Almighty God to honor His work and not let it die from neglect.

Is Rep. Markwayne Mullin Now John Boehner’s Spokesman?

I find each pronouncement by Congressman Mullin (R-OK-2) to be more and more enlightening as to his perception of his role in Markwayne MullinCongress, and ever more perplexing in my perception of his role in Congress.  Mullin is now telling us what John Boehner said to the Republican conference in their meetings, focusing on keeping control of the House in the 2014 election.  Hey, Markwayne, I guess you don’t realize it but We the People of the Oklahoma 2nd Congressional District didn’t elect you to come back here and tell us what John Boehner says.  We sent you to Washington D. C. (DE Cesspool) to TELL John Boehner what WE SAID!!!!!  I can find Boehner’s lame whining on any social network site, Facebook, Google, Twitter, and any number of television talking head shows; no need for you to come back and act as his spokesman.

This Continuing Resolution song and dance has to stop.  Markwayne stated in this interview  that he “wasn’t going to back himself into a corner” by saying he would vote against the CR if it doesn’t defund Obamacare.  This is the typical “Potomac Two-Step” we have heard from others before him; “don’t take a stand so no one can quote you, and don’t vote for or against anything that can be used against you in an election”.  No change in Washington from the OK-2nd District.

As it turns out Mullin voted in support of the Continuing Resolution, effectively saying the status quo is acceptable to him.  Spend!! Spend!! Spend!! is the order of the day and Mullin will “go along to get along” with Boehner and the others in his dictatorial cabal.  It seems that keeping promises and honoring his oath of office can wait until “next time”.

Tell me, Markwayne, when is “next time“ going to come?  Boehner has been saying “next time” for more than 2 years now and our country continues running (CR?) down the road to financial ruin.   I guess “being part of the Boehner team” is more important than honoring your oath of office and the promises you made to thousands of voters who believed you and put their confidence in you.  Wejohn-a-boehner thought you were a part of OUR TEAM, not Boehner’s team!!!

Mullin mentioned in the interview on KFAQ that he used his time in a recent speech on the floor of the House of Representatives to complain about “partisanship” and to urge everyone to “just get along”.  Isn’t that the same mantra we have heard from Republican establishment types for years now?  More of the “go along to get along” crap from someone I thought would go up there and fight for liberty in my name.

The reason I supported Mullin in the Republican runoff is that I was afraid if his opponent George Faught was elected we would get a mushy yes-man, and I did not want any more of such people in Congress.  I guess I was wrong about Mullin.

In his last appearance in Claremore Mullin stated several times that he “didn’t vote for Nancy Pelosi”.  Just a “heads-up”, Markwayne, neither did Dan Boren in his last term.  But Boren didn’t  vote for John Boehner either.  “Not voting for Nancy Pelosi” isn’t exactly a “get out of jail free card” in my book.  Boren didn’t vote for Pelosi in his last term and he also didn’t vote for the final draft of Obamacare.  He voted for it the first 7 times but not the last one, the one that everyone would see.  We could have kept Boren and nothing would be different in Congress with a Democrat sitting in the OK-2 seat.

Now, take a look at Oklahoma’s 1st District representative.  Jim Bridenstine doesn’t spend his time complaining about “partisanship”.  He is aligning himself with conservatives, not the establishment, and standing up for We the People.  He also refused to vote for Boehner as Jim BridenstineSpeaker because he promised in his campaign that he wouldn’t.  Bridenstine deposed former RINO John Sullivan in the 2012 primary elections.  Bridenstine also fulfilled one of his promises to voters by voting against the CR  .  He is aligning himself with those who are upholding their oath of office by fighting the political corruption going on in Washington, not bowing to the corruption that is party politics in Congress.

Boehner’s plan is always next time, never now.  I for one am tired of the “next time” mantra from Boehner and his patsy leadership team.  Rep. Jim Bridenstine is standing up for We the People and making a concerted effort to actually change the way things are done in Washington while Mullin whines about finger pointing, and then falls into lock-step with the very people he was sent to stop.

Instead of throwing in with the conservative faction in Congress, as expected by voters, Mullin has chosen to follow the lead of RINO’s Cole, Langford, and Lucas in bowing to John Boehner and his band of traitors.   Republican House Whip Kevin McCarthy is now saying they can get gun control and immigration passed “without support from Republicans”.  If that isn’t in the top ten of most outrageous staKevin McCarthytements I don’t know what would qualify.  This is the “leadership” Mullin voted for in the most important decision he will ever make in Congress.  Who still believes in the Republican Party???

When Mullin had the chance to change the direction of our government he folded.  His very first vote, the most important vote he will make, was for John Boehner to be Speaker of the House.  Now he whines about how things are being done.  WELL, DUH!!!!  What did you expect Markwayne???? You voted for a man who is known to be a dysfunctional clod and a fan of the white flag approach to fighting for liberty.  You voted for Boehner in spite of many in your district Eagle watching GOPurging you to help remove him.  Now you tell us what Boehner says!!! I don’t care, nor does anyone else care, what Boehner says.  Your job there is to tell Boehner and his henchmen what WE the PEOPLE say.

If Mullin can’t manage to represent WE the People of the 2nd District any better than this he might as well come back to Broken Arrow and run his business.  We don’t need another “yes-man” in Washington.  I bet we can find someone in Northeastern Oklahoma who has the courage to stand against the Boehner Crime Family and represent the 2nd Congressional District in the fashion we expect.  I wonder if hiring a campaign consultant he owed just over $60,000 as his chief of staff is a factor in the Mullin approach to “bi-partisanship”.

I submit this in the name of the Most Holy Trinity, in faith, with the responsibility given to me by Almighty God to honor His work and not let it die from neglect.

President has Personal Discretion in Government Shutdown

This was originally posted April 09, 2011 during that threat of government shutdown. It’s regrettable the American people are rounding this corner again. The sharp contrast of lost standards from a mere two-years ago reflects how Obama has effectively “nudged” a serious deterioration of American expectations. This is a most shameful course of action for any American President.

The president has enormous personal discretion in deciding ‘who’ and ‘what’ gets paid during a government shutdown. He can use that discretion to turn a government shutdown into a favorable or unfavorable event for The People; or, as has been the case with this president, to use it against The People to propagandize his own political gain. Legal authorities have suggested this behavior is impeachable. Bring it on.

Those certain to be paid without interruption are the politicians: The White House, Congress and their staffs. Most of us don’t know that “furloughed” federal employees are typically paid retroactively anyway. Of late we’ve been told federal employees were furloughed only to find they didn’t work but they did continue to receive pay. This sheds a glaring light on Obama’s self-serving propensity for imposing harships on people of an entire country, purely for sake of his personal pleasure and propagandizing political gain.

The big question in 2011’s government shutdown was, how does an American President possibly justify denying pay to troops who are defending our country; and to our most vulnerable elderly who’ve built it? Who among us could possibly condone such acts?

Prior administrations have generally accepted that the following services remain uninterrupted:

Services funded by permanent appropriations that don’t expire; and some services funded by annual appropriations, “if there’s a reasonable and articulable connection between the function to be performed and the safety of human life or the protection of property.”

Services that legally require new appropriations, having expired during a shutdown, can be extended, such as “national security, law enforcement and medical care for those already in hospitals, as well as some that many might find both surprising and infuriating, like ‘the conduct of foreign relations’.” Services requiring new appropriations are the government services most typically subject to shutdown. This president has proven his decisions as anything but “typical.”

Stan Collender of Capital Gains and Games of Roll Call, a political and economic news source, wrote President has the Upper Hand in a Shutdown.” The article discusses a president’s wide range of personal discretion (excerpted below). It is appalling how much Obama has so radically altered this rationale from a mere two-years ago when first reported:

The Obama administration will have enormous discretion in other ways. Whole departments, agencies and programs are not automatically exempt just because they fall into one of the categories, it will be up to the White House to decide which activities will be conducted if a shutdown actually occurs.

The administration is also free to reject precedents for reasons that include economic and technological changes, new programs and functions, political hardball, and more.

The bottom line about a federal government shutdown is simple: The president has far more room to maneuver and is in a much better position to take control of the situation than Congress. As Clinton showed in 1995 and 1996, when he reclassified some programs several weeks into the fight so that they could operate despite originally being on the shutdown list, the White House even has the ability to change its determinations.

The same information was consistently available from a variety of news sources, the below excerpted from “Administration Paints Picture of Possible Government Shutdown” by Kimberly Schwandt of Fox News:

The Obama administration clarified the scope of the potential government shutdown saying that it would impact about 800,000 employees and stop services like IRS paper filling and returns, and close institutions like the Smithsonian.

A senior administration official also said that military personnel would continue to earn money, however they wouldn’t actually receive it until the government is funded again. They’ll be receiving full pay checks until April 8.

There are two areas that guide who will stay working. Government activities will stay open that:

1) Have alternative funding – like user fees or appropriations that aren’t renewed every year.

2) Are necessary for safety of life and protection of property.

Here’s a snapshot of what else stays open and what closes during this potential shutdown:

800,000 federal employees (the same as 1995) the official says is the “vicinity” of workers who would be affected.

Military members will continue get paid through April 8th, but after that are only earning and will get money when the government is funded again.

What services will be suspended? IRS filings with paper claims won’t be processed and audits will also be stopped. Electronic claims will continue. Small business loans and Federal House Administration mortgages will also be halted. (The official noted that FHA had 12 percent of housing market in 1995, and now it’s up to 30 percent)

Another excellent source is by Ed O’keefe at Federal Eye entitled “Government Shutdown: Facts and Figures.” These linked articles provide important, additional information about what is and is not typical in government shutdowns.

In 2011 I wanted to know why Obama, at his personal discretion, routinely opted not to keep paychecks going to our Troops overseas and during his “Kinetic Military Action?” Did he forget he’s supposed to be their “Commander In Chief” and the responsibilities that job truly entails? Did he ever know? Or is it as simple as it seems: Obama only knows how to use those around him in appeasing himself?

Given the countless lies this administration told in trying to ramp up fake consequences of the Sequester, we no longer have to ask these questions. If by now you are not indignantly insulted by the fools this president plays us, nothing can help. These are Obama’s personal choices. It cannot be any more clear than it is why he’s making personal choices that are directly aimed at denegrating us as a people. It is what it is. He is what he is.

It’s Payback Time

PappasUnions like AFSCME (American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees) spent $100 million to elect federal, state and local candidates across the country in 2012 and now they want their payback.

In Minnesota, union influence was purchased with more than $11 million. Payback is taking the form of increasing the number of dues-paying members through bully legislation.

Making its way through Minnesota Senate committees is a rehashed proposal to force private business owners and sole proprietors to join a union or be forced to pay a “fair share” penalty.

The bill, Senate File 778, states that any child care provider who accepts clients who are subsidized by the state Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) must, under penalty of the law, join the union or pay the “fair share” fee of $25 per month. There are approximately 9,000 business owners and child care providers that would be affected by this part of the law.

Minnesota Senate State and Local Government Committee met Monday and was greeted by a large crowd of both opposition and support. Chief author of SF 778, Senator Sandra Pappas, who was endorsed by AFSCME and SEIU (Service Employees International Union) in her 2012 campaign, presented her proposal along side union bosses and sobbing testifiers. Executive Director of AFSCME Eliot Seide testified in favor of Pappas’ bill. He was paid over $122,000 last year by the union. According to union members present at the senate committee hearing, both AFSCME and SEIU would see an increase in membership if the bill becomes law.

According to testimony at the hearing, child care providers already have the option to join AFSCME and a total of 57, out of more than 9,000, have already done so.

Republican members of the Senate State and Local Government Committee had harsh words and presented stiff opposition to Pappas’ bills. Senator Brandon Petersen criticized the bill saying, “…you’re talking about unionizing small business owners… Isn’t this just a plan to syphon off dues money for the unions?”

Petersen was visibly frustrated throughout the meeting. Referring to a provision in the bill that would make the State of Minnesota the “employer of record” for all child care providers, Petersen asked, “Home child care providers are not employees. Why are we trying to unionized small business owners?”

Pappas embarassed

One testifier in opposition to the union power grab took it upon herself to call child care providers in Pappas’ district to find out if they wanted to be unionized. Becky Swanson, a licensed child care professional, only found three. Swanson urged members of the committee to return to their districts and find out for themselves if their constituents are in favor of forced unionization.

Hollie Saville also testified before the committee in opposition to the bill. She quipped, “I brought a copy of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence,” as she waved the booklets in her hands, “Perhaps some need a refresher on them.”

Republican Senator Dave Thompson asked Pappas if there was any way to know how many providers who currently take CCAP clients will stop taking low income family clients because of this forced unionization. Pappas simply replied, “no.”

Consequences and the Democrat War on Poverty

Republican Senator Dave Thompson exposed a consequence of the bill. Many in-home child care providers currently take clients who receive CCAP funding. That funding follows the low income family, not the provider. CCAP is a reimbursement to the provider. Thompson wanted it on record that he finds it “unbelievable that you would suggest people give up a large portion of their income OR join a union and pay dues.” Senator Dan Hall suggested this was a form of bullying.

In response, Pappas confirmed that providers would have to pay union dues or fair share fees, or turn away low income families.

By that rationale, Pappas and those who would vote for this bill are aware that some low income families would have to find new child care providers. In theory, Pappas is encouraging the mass exodus of licensed in-home providers and forcing low income families into more expensive, union-backed facilities that will likely have higher costs. These costs will be the burden of the tax payers in Minnesota.

More to the bill than child care

Not only does SF 778 establish a new and expensive state board, a coucil, and other administrative bureaucracy, it also attempts to unionize unlicensed in-home care givers like those caring for a disabled child or aging parent.

A Star Tribune report breaks down this part of the bill accordingly.

According to Katy Chase, executive director of the Minnesota Licensed Family Child Care Association, unlicensed providers are often relatives or neighbors who do not have to meet the requirements of licensed providers. “You’re talking grammas and grampas, families and neighbors,” she said.
“To have them included in a bill that’s talking about negotiating things that wouldn’t even come into play for them — we don’t think they should be included,” said Chase, whose organization will oppose the AFSCME-backed bill.
At the same time, a former union supporter, Kathy Stevens, who provides licensed family child care in Brainerd and was once active in the union effort, issued a statement saying the union engaged in “unethical tactics in signing unlicensed providers.” She said the reason for doing so was to win votes for the unionization attempt.
“Legally unlicensed providers are a mere pawn in the numbers game to obtain votes,” Stevens said in her statement, which was submitted to the Senate committee.

Should the unionization of small in-home child care business owners pass in the MN Senate, it will also likely pass the state House. Both senate and house are led by a democrat majority. Many of the democrats in both the senate and house were endorsed by AFSCME and SEIU in the last 2 election cycles, as was Governor Mark Dayton, who would sign it into law.

Help Wanted: New Generation of Founding Fathers

This is an openEagle- America Deserves Better letter to a new generation of founding fathers who I hope will stand up and “pledge their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor” to the cause of a restored Republic of the United States of America.  I am asking for leaders to lead; people with wealth, name recognition, and the trust of We the People to lead us into a revival of  the liberty once known by citizens of America.  It is time for a political party to represent the disenfranchised in both political parties and the Independents who have been disenfranchised for a very long time.

I speak to Allen West, Sarah Palin, Rand Paul, Jim DeMint, Ted Cruz, Ted Poe, Jason Chaffetz, Mike Lee, Ted Nugent, Glenn Beck, Kelsey Grammer, Bruce Willis, Jon Voight, Donald Trump, Thomas Sowell, Herman Cain, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Neil Boortz, Dr. Benjamin Carson, Pastor John Hagee, Pastor JamesAllen West Manning, and many others who just don’t come to mind right now.  You have the money, the name recognition, and the respect of the 67% of We the People who identify as TEA Party members or sympathizers.  I know there must be Democrats who are fed up with the Marxist tilt of their party also.

We have a plethora of people, black, white, red, yellow, and a few polka dotted ones, who are ready and willing to work to elect conservatives but are lacking in leadership. Neither political party represents the majority of, or even a plurality of, American citizens.  Both parties pander to the fringe on the left, the moochers and looters who live their lives with their hands out, and/or the military industrial complex that simply makes money off of war.

Politicians in both parties ignore the two-thirds of We the People who make this nation work.  Corruption is rampant and neither Rush Limbaughpolitical party has any intention of changing the status quo.  They make their fortunes and live a life of luxury off of the sweat of common people who just want a chance to be successful and become wealthy also.

The founders gave everything they had to forge a nation based on freedom and personal responsibility, with a focus on helping each other when in need. Many of them came out the other side destitute but free.  There are millions of Americans just like myself who have a desire to live free yet find ourselves condemned to voting for the lesser of two evils, evils that are working together behind the scenes to subjugate and enslave us.Sarah Palin

The Democrat Party has been full-fledged Marxist for many years now and the Republican Party is running as fast as they can to catch up with them.  John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Eric Cantor, Jeb Hensarling, John Cornyn, Orin Hatch, and the other RINO’s have not in the past, do not now, nor will they ever represent We the People who have conservative values.  They make huge promises to get our votes then spit in our faces as soon as they get in office.

I wrote a blog article not too long ago  reminding people of the promises John Boehner made in 2009/2010.  He has john-a-boehnernever fulfilled any of them, instead minimizing the influence of the TEA Party in 2010 and blaming us for the losses in 2012.  Karl Marx Rove has declared war on TEA conservatives and all but called us “enemies of the state”.  While he has been forced to grovel a bit we all know he meant what he said and will stab us in the back every chance he gets.

The New World Order globalists running both political parties despise everything our founders stood for, and so in turn despise everything I stand for as a conservative.  We the People need, not just one, but scores of heroes who will stake their fortunes on our future.  The founders did it and won a great crusade that established a freedom and a nation based on God given rights that has been the “shining city on a hill” (John Winthrop) for 237 years.

Republican governors are succumbing to the allure of millions of tax dollars to implement Obamacare in spite of the opposition of voters.  John Kasich in Ohio and Tim Scott in Florida are but  two prime examples of Republican politicians who were supported by TEA Party conservatives, got elected behind that support, and are now turning their backs on the promises they made and the people who supported and elected them.  There are more, including Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin, who publicly denounces Obamacare but works feverishly behind the scenes trying to implement it before We the People can stop it.  This duplicity is treason in my mind, and an offense that should be punished by impeachment at the very least.

During the 2012 campaign I worked with a man named John Albert Dummett Jr. who was running John Dummettfor president as a Republican.  John is just like me; a nobody who cares about his country and the legacy left behind by such great men as George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Samuel Adams, Thomas Paine, Nathan Hale, and countless others who risked so much for liberty.  John Dummett is in this same class but doesn’t have the national stage of those I mentioned earlier.  His platform is one that conservatives everywhere can get behind.  He is a well-educated and well-spoken man who can stand with anyone when it comes to knowledge of our Constitution and the courage to “protect, defend, and uphold” same.  He should be a part of a new creation also.

When you look at demographics you find that 40% of Americans are Republican, 40% Democrat, and 20% Independent.  The TEA Party montage makes up 67% of We the People.  If all 20% of Independents identify as TEA people there are still 47% that have to come from somewhere, namely both political parties. Two-thirds of anything is a winning proposition.

It is time for real “change we can believe in”.  The outright lies and deceit of both political parties has reached a point that cannot be ignored by anyone who loves liberty.  I am as much of a patriot as anyone, but lack the financial resources and public stage to make the kind of difference that can be made by the rich and famous among conservatives.

We the People are here; looking for encouragement, direction, and confidence in a future as great as that established Eagle Changing Things I Cannotg Accept237 years ago with the defeat of Great Britain and the ratification of our founding document, The Constitution of the United States of America.

You people have the financial resources to get a party started and the fame to garner support from millions of Americans desperately seeking leaders they can believe in and count on.  If all of you and all of those other unnamed conservatives would band together with the various TEA Party factions, Freedom Works, and other organizations we could forge an unbeatable force for freedom that would rival the accomplishments of 1776.  Will you pledge “ your life, your fortune, and your sacred honor” to liberty?  I have no fortune but will pledge my life, my talents, and my sacred honor to the cause.  All I need is a direction and that isn’t available through the Republican Party.

I submit this in the name of the Most Holy Trinity, in faith, with the responsibility given to me by Almighty God to honor His work and not let it die from neglect.

The Sequester Lie

Eagle Fighting for FreedomThe big deal they are making over this sequester nonsense is giving me a headache.  I have made this point on several social network site discussions so I thought I would put it all together on one place.  Obama, his cabinet minions, and all of the members of Congress come out and say; Social Security checks will stop, meat plants will shut down, the FBI won’t be able to track terrorists, the Border Patrol won’t be able to secure the borders, airports will nearly shut down, pony rides in national parks will end, the sun won’t come up on March 2, and on and on and on.  And the RINO’s in Congress aren’t doing any better.

This is such tripe that it is actually embarrassing, and infuriating at the same time.  This is the best we have to govern our nation?  For anyone who doesn’t already know, let me lay out a few facts that you won’t hear on any “news media” outlet, including FOX News. The “media” covers the false flag talking points arguing but not the factsEagle- America Deserves Better. NOTHING IS BEING CUT!!!!  That is just the truth of it.  The “baseline budgeting” system our government runs under calls for about 1.8% – 2% increase every year.  This is how they do it, every year.  They build in an automatic increase in every department in government, and they do it for the very reason you are seeing played out again for the 300th time in the last 25 years.

Follow me here because this is the crux of the game being played by both political parties.  Spending goes UP, every year, in spite of the “horrendous cuts” they are “forced” to make.  The federal government is expected to spend approximately $3.7 trillion in 2013, yet they are wringing their hands and fretting over cutting $85 billion out of that total, which is 1.1% by the way.  According to figures released by the Heritage Foundation the federal government spent $3.6 trillion in FY 2012. If we take $85 billion off of the projected $3.7 trillion in 2013 we still find the government spending $3.615 trillion in 2013.  What the “the sky is falling” politicians are telling us is that spending $61.5 billion MORE,  1.66% more, in 2013 than they spent in 2012 is somehow a cut in spending, and will cause untold calamities if it happens.  How does that work?  I must have had a defective education because that doesn’t look they are spending less to me.

The “hawks” on defense want social items cut and the “hawks” on social items want defense cut.  So, they come to a republican logo“compromise”, eventually.  They posture and argue and pound their chests for their cause and in the end some things may get cosmetic ”cuts” (read less increase than planned) but spending overall still goes up.  They have “fought” on television, on radio, on the floors of the chambers and told us how ”terrible” life will be if we cut their pet project.  Both political parties get their sound bites in so low information voters on both sides of the aisle get just enough to think someone actually cares about what affects them and hence can count on that vote the next time it is needed.

The question I have, and one that never gets answered, is “if the country is going to almost totally shut down because we “cut” $85 billion, why are they spending $3.7 TRILLION and where does the rest of it go?”  This “spending cut” is going to cause firemen, policemen, and teachers to be laid off?  Since when does the federal government pay for these services?  Isn’t that why I pay county property taxes and state taxes?  Social Security checks won’t go out, pony rides in national parks will end (sad face), soldiers won’t haveDemomcrat Logo what they need to fight, and 700,000 federal employees in the Defense Department will be laid off? WHY??? Won’t the $61.5 billion MORE they plan to spend this year cover those social security checks, pony rides, soldier supplies, and employees just like they did last year?  Every politician and every bureaucrat comes out and cries about how their particular area is going to die a death of financial starvation, yet government is going to spend more money than last year.  Sorry, I guess I am just too stupid to understand their logic; at least they think so.

And to spending cuts, I have yet to hear Obama speak about cutting back on his vacations to Hawaii and Spain, golf with Tiger Woods, a special Leer jet for his dog to go to Martha’s Vineyard, or a junket on Air Force One to Nevada or wherever  to announce another of his “green energy” or “jobs” scams that he could have announced from Washington.  I haven’t heard about ‘Ole Nan’ giving up her first class jet for a broom.

Rand Paul recently returned $600,000 that he was authorized as a Senator but didn’t spend.  Sen. Tom Coburn of Oklahoma has been doing this for years.  A side question is “how much money do they get for ‘office expenses’?”  Apparently too much!!

I also haven’t heard anything about cutting congressional or White House staff, not to mention the pay raises they seem to get quite often.  We hear the horror stories about how We the People will suffer due to “cutbacks” but never how Congress or Il Duce Obamathe Executive Branch plan to do with less.  It is always We the People who must do with less while they spend more on themselves, with never a true cut in government spending. Rush recently mentioned on his radio show that 7 of the 10 richest counties surround or are very near Washington, D.C. (De Cesspool). No recession in or near Washington!!!

In the real world they are scamming liberal and conservative voters alike.  The people running OUR government take We the People for being so stupid we can’t figure this out.  The sad fact of the matter is that about 51%, at least, buy into this lie. How do people like Chuck Schumer, Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Diane Feinstein, Sheila Jackson Lee, Charles Rangel, Hank (Guam might tip over) Johnson, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Eric Cantor, Jeb Hensarling, Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, etc. continue to get elected?

Much of the problem comes from the Republican Party yet these same people who turn their backs on conservatives get elected time and again. WHY????  I don’t know of a single major promise Republicans have made in 20 years that they have actually followed through on, yet they continue to receive the same support from the same people.

The problem is that we have no other options. It is either ultra-liberal Democrats or very-liberal Republicans.  We vote time and again for the lesser of two evils because that is all the options we have.  That has to change if we are going to salvage the Republic established in 1791 and defended for all these years by the blood of American patriots.  The biggest problem facing America is career politicians and bureaucrats who could care less what We the People think or what the Constitution says.  A 3rd party encompassing the 67% of We the People who make up the TEA Party could cure these problems.  Where are the leaders to step up and lead????

I submit this in the name of the Most Holy Trinity, in faith, with the responsibility given to me by Almighty God to honor His work and not let it die from neglect.

US Constitution: Transitioning Our First Amendment from Freedom of Religion to Freedom to Worship

<< This article was updated on November 13, 2013 >>

Freedom of Thought or Consciousness is dangerous to a free society. However, political correctness is suppressing an individual’s free exercise of religion. This practice actually suppresses the First Amendment and promotes Article 18 of the Declaration of Human Rights. Freedom to Worship appears similar to Freedom of Religion but they are actually on opposing ends of the spectrum. For over 60 years, our nation and our legal system has slowly adopted this UN Human Right to Freedom of Worship over the free exercise of Religion.

The US Constitution protects an individual’s right to openly practice and express their religious beliefs. The First Amendment states,

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Our federal government and media are at war with Christianity. As the Westboro Baptist Church, Jeremiah Wright, Terry Jones and pedophilia priests are poster children of Christianity, Christians have succumbed their religion freedom. The demonization has created a void in society and other deities’ are introduced as substitutes. Christianity’s moral foundation emphasizes individual responsibility to God as well as to society at large. Movie stars, politicians and activists are now providing this moral foundation to our society.

In his 1941 State of the Union address, President Franklin D. Roosevelt introduced freedom of worship with his “four human freedoms.”

After his death, Eleanor Roosevelt continued his legacy as she chaired the United Nation’s Declaration of Human Rights. FDR’s Four Freedoms became the foundation of the United Nations. During a dedication of Four Freedoms Park last October, Ban Ki-Moon (UN General Secretary) proclaimed these freedoms as the United Nation’s founding vision.

UN Declaration of Human Rights, Article 18 states:

“Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.”

The potential for abuse that exists in the difference between Freedom of Religion and Freedom of Worship is best exemplified by the Healthcare mandate ragarding abortion and contraception. This mandate differentiates between the mechanical practice of religion and belief within that religion. They deemed the physical act of entering a church is worthy of first amendment protection., the belief system underlying that is protected.

When someone’s free speech is suppressed for fear of offending someone else, we have truly lost our Constitutional right. This Human Right (as opposed to our individual right) suppresses religious influences on thought and conscious. Article 18 of the Declaration of Human Rights actually exemplifies intolerance. When someone’s free speech is suppressed due to offending someone else, we have truly lost our Constitutional right.

Organizations promote freedom from religion and “Free thinkers”. Meanwhile, public schools and city councils are sued for their religiously affiliations, mostly for the practice of Christianity.

New religious affiliations have crept into our society such as atheism, agnosticism, Patheism, worship of Mother Earth and humanism. These religions must respect Judeo-Christian expression if they expect their own practice to be respected.

Religious alternatives are being promoted within our society. Environmental groups push religious views such as Pantheism or the worship of Gaia. In 1971, our nation introduced Earth Day. In 2009, the United Nations designated April 22 as International Mother Earth Day. We should all love our planet, respect it and celebrate it but it should not be worshipped as a religion.

The Supreme Court and others have boxed religion as defined as a separation of church and state. We have accepted atheism which is a religious choice just as Christianity, Islam and Hinduism. It is the religion of no religion which has been advanced by countless court decisions in violation of the first amendment. The Supreme Court declares school prayer and nativity scenes unconstitutional. Church leaders cannot defend the right of religious people to exercise their freedom in the public square. We are losing our Constitutional rights and becoming a secular, progressive autocracy under Human Rights.

Christianity receives much good that do not get publicity, none to the degree the abuses receive. The practice of religion has seen much abuse. The medieval harshness of Sharia Law is incompatable with many accepted norms within our free society. Under Afghan law, punishment of Proselytism, conversion from Islam to another religion, is punishable by death. This is Freedom to Worship. This is not a reason to reject religion. This is a reason to correct any shortcomings while maintaining moral primacy and societal decorum.

In the twentieth century. disastrous political/military campaigns are driven by progressive, humanist, atheists. Dictators such as Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, Pol Pot, and Mao were ruthless, fanatical atheists. They believed in the collective good was the ultimate goal. These agendas have killed millions of people. People should not be forced to conceal their faith when in the public arena. We must combat the state sponsored atheism being pushed upon society.

Should we force an environment of intolerance so free thinkers have an environment to exercise worship, or one that tolerates other practice of religions? If we become responsible for other’s thought and consciousness, this oppression will not stop at religion.

Olympic Arms Stands Up For The Constitution

Olypic Arms Logo

Gun manufacturing company, Olympic Arms, Inc. has turned down a solicitation to advertise in the FOP Journal, the publication of the National Fraternal Order of Police.  The FOP very strongly supports the most extreme of gun control measures, highlighted by their jumping for joy over the Diane Feinstein proposal.  Olympic Arms issued a statement with “grievances” listed as their reasons for refusing to advertise with the FOP.  They went even farther, saying they will not sell to, advertise with, or generally do business with any other entity supporting gun control, including the federal government. Other firearm manufacturers have also refused to sell to government entities.

In a related matter, Police Chief Mark Kessler of the Gilberton Borough Police Department in Pennsylvania has called for civilian volunteers to join with his police department in building a “reserve force” (sorry Sheriff, I live in Oklahoma or I would sign up).  The purpose of the group Kessler calls for is to provide aid to his police department should the need arise to resist Federal authorities when it comes to the Second Amendment and the confiscation of firearms from law abiding citizens.  This is about as “grassroots” as grassroots can get, local citizens joining with local law enforcement to enforce the tenets of the Constitution.Sheriff Mark Kessler  Many sheriffs across the nation have stood up for their oath to the residents of their counties and to their oath to The Constitution of the United States of America.  I call on every sheriff in the nation to join the Constitutional Sheriffs Association  and be a part of the defense of liberty in America. If you are a sheriff, please sign on.  If you are a relative, or just a citizen, urge your county sheriff to take this stand with We the People.

Another large concern is the situation with ammunition.  The government bought 1.6 BILLION, (yep, with a “B”) rounds of ammunition in just the last ten months of 2012  and are about to order 21.6 million more rounds in the next couple of months.   They bought .40 caliber hollow points and 5.56/2.23 ammunition, causing shortages and outrageous prices.  And to make a side point for the “low information voter” and those who may just not know anything about firearms and ammunition, hollow point ammunition cannot be used in war due to Geneva Convention bans on their use.  Also, the use of such expensive ammunition for target practice is ludicrous.  That only leaves one place to use those hollow points, and that is on We the People. They are Dept Homeland Security Logodesigned to do maximum damage to the human body, not paper targets.  The federal government has already amassed enough bullets to shoot each American citizen; that is every man, woman, and child in the nation, 5or 6 times.  And they are putting out solicitations for even more “personal defense weapons”, that in my hands is an “assault weapon”.  Same gun; different hands, different designation.

If the manufacturers of ammunition want to stand with We the People, and their own ultimate future, they will join in this refusal to sell to, and/or advertise with organizations and agencies that seek the demise of the firearms industry.   These companies stand to make hundreds of millions of dollars, money that will come out of the pockets of working class patriots who believe that the right to keep and bear arms comes from God, not man.  In their quest to put money in their pockets these manufacturers are enabling the subjugation of their own employees, along with the rest of us.

So essentially, I am buying “personal defense weapons” and a lot of ammunition; for bureaucrats, including the NOAA, our nation’s hurricane forecasters, and other bureaucrats who have no need for guns and ammunition at all, much less in such quantities.  How many weather forecasters need a full-automatic military rifle to forecast a hurricane? In the process of this government largesse, the availability and cost of guns and ammunition to people like myself is becoming impossible.  And where are these weapons actually going?

I call on all manufacturers of anything related to the 2nd Amendment to take this same stand.  We the People have shown our willingness to support your companies.  The sale of firearms, ammunition, and accessories have skyrocketed in the last few years as people become more and more alarmed at the actions of the federal government. Those who now reap huge profits from a growingly abusive government will eventually fall prey to the appetite of this same government.  If you don’t believe me go back and check on Willy Messerschmitt, for one.

Nazi Germany saw many industrial magnates profit by supporting Adolph Hitler and his regime of terror and murder. Naturally when the dust settled they had nothing.  How about the lessons from Soviet Russia, Cuba, Communist China, North Korea, Iranhitler4, and on and on and on?  Will our arms industries follow the example of these countries or will they join in the movement of a civilized people to return our nation to the values espoused by our founders?  Will these companies and the people who manage them look to the Constitution and our founders or will they stand with those bent on dictatorship?

We the People are standing up to the tyranny being forced upon us.  We have lost the sad excuse we have for a news media.  They are totally controlled by the NWO globalists and loudly call for disarmament and the abolition of the Constitution.   And while one political party actively and openly strives to enslave its citizens the other one hems and haws around while looking for excuses to send Abrams tanks and F-16 fighter/bombers to the Muslim Brotherhood.  These politicians, who are so concerned about “honoring a treaty with Egypt”, are hiding behind rhetoric to ignore their oath to honor the Constitution as they assist in the subjugation and Il Duce Obamaenslavement of their supporters. The Muslim Brotherhood can be trusted with state-of-the-art weapons systems but I can’t be trusted with a semi-automatic rifle!!!!!

Who is the enemy and who is the friend here? We already know where both political parties stand.  Those questions need to be answered by the ammunition manufacturers who are raking in profits from wanna-be dictators as our Republic travels down the rest of the road to dictatorship.

I submit this in the name of the Most Holy Trinity in faith, with the responsibility given to me be Almighty God to honor His work and not let it die from neglect.

Last Ounce of Courage: A Movie For Patriots

I just finished watching an incredible movie.  A few months ago I saw previews of a movie called “Last Ounce of Courage” and Last Ounce of Courage Covermentioned to my wife that I would like to see it.  She found it at Amazon.com and ordered it.  This movie had been sitting in a box with some others for quite some time and she pulled them out today and we decided to sit down and watch it tonight.

The story is about a Vietnam veteran who lost a son in Iraq or Afghanistan, not really sure which, but where isn’t important.  The story is what is important.  Bob Revere is a mayor of small town America who watched his son go off to war and saw him return in a casket.  The story line revolves around Christmas but the underlying reality of today’s America is what matters.

Bob Revere is a Medal of Honor recipient from Vietnam who takes a stand for freedom when the ACLU, and the media naturally, threatens his town with lawsuits and other strong-arm tactics over acknowledging that Christmas is celebrated as the birtBob Revereh of Jesus Christ.  Revere embodies the spirit of America and what we are losing because We the People have allowed ourselves to be intimidated into acquiescing to the views of a very small minority of people who are agnostic, pagan, and/or just downright evil.

Anyone that knows me can tell you that I am about as tough and hard-nosed as anyone can be but I found myself teary eyed through the entire movie.   It made me swell with pride and ache with sadness and concern at the same time.  This movie took me back 42 years to my time in the military.  It took me back to a time when friends died on distant battlefields in third world hell holes that no one remembers or cares about today.

I think of friends who died in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Central America, and South America; in unknown and unacknowledged counter-insurgency operations all around the globe.  Many died in places no one ever knew about because the operations were so highly classified that company and group commanders didn’t know where they were or what they were doing.

It made me think of the sacrifices made by the 1.3 million who have died since the beginning of our Republic and the countless millions who have suffered crippling injuries, both physical and mental, to preserve the ideals founded in 1776 and written into the Declaration of Independence; and later, in 1791, written into The Constitution of the United States of America.  It made me think of the millions more, like myself, who were fortunate enough to serve in the military without the debilitating injuries so many suffered through, and still suffer through today.

Our nation is losing the freedoms so many have sacrificed so much to provide for us.  Like Bob Revere we have become comfortable with giving in to tyranny without realizing we are doing so.  In one line in the movie Revere says “that’s just the way it is, kid” when talking to his grandson.  Many sit in comfy homes, with plenty to eat, with warm roofs over our heads, and do little or nothing to honor the sacrifices of so many who deserve to be honored. Honoring them is more than a parade on Memorial Day or Veterans Day.  While these things are important, they aren’t the most important things we can do.

Little by little, a government run by dictatorial minded thugs intimidates us into giving away the legacy left by those who have put their lives on hold, or sacrificed themselves, for an ideal that was more precious to them than their own lives.  We give in to the threats of lawsuits by bullies because we want to “just get along and live in peace”.  During the Benghazi hearings Hillary Clinton said “at this point, what difference does it really make?”.  My blood boiled when I heard those words come out of the mouth of one of the most despicable people to ever sit in a seat of government.

What difference does it really make, indeed!!  The more important question is “What difference do I make?”.  What difference do I make  in the bigger picture of liberty for my children, my grandchildren, my great grandchildren.  Like Bob Revere, I served my country honorably in the military.  But again, like Bob Revere, that isn’t enough.  Our future generations need us more than we have ever needed anyone.  The “greatest generation” fought Hitler, Tojo, and Mussolini in World War II to defeat the most evil forces on earth at the time, all to preserve my chance to live free.  Like Revere’s grandson I hadn’t been born yet when my father joined millions of other men to put Bob Revere Grandsontheir lives in harm’s way for a future generation they would birth.  The wars of my day, I thought, were for freedom of our country but they really weren’t, at least not directly as World War II had been.  The wars against Communist expansion were more about the freedom of others living in countries far away from our shores, yet stopping the expansion of evil, in the long run, was necessary for the protection of our land also.

We are in a war today, right here in America.  It isn’t a shooting war, yet, but is a war none the less.  Our war is against the principalities and powers of darkness as described in the Holy Bible, powers that control our government.   We are fighting a war for the very soul of a nation and a future of liberty for our children and future generations.  If we lose this war it will be decades before there will be a chance for freedom, if that chance ever comes.  We are fighting corrupt politicians like Bob Menendez who has sex with underage girls, paid for by our tax money and protected by a corrupt political system that values their power more than they value morality and what is right.  Menendez is only one of many corrupt politicians and bureaucrats who demean the values America stands for, yet sit back and condemn those of us who value honesty, integrity, and morality.Sen. Bob Menendez

The TEA Party rallies and recent gatherings at state capitols to support the 2nd Amendment are encouraging but more needs to be done.  People have finally become alarmed enough to stand up and be counted even though they know a despotic government is recording their words, their actions, their phone calls, e-mails, and internet site comments.  All this is being done to intimidate us into silence or to build a lists of “enemies of the state” to be arrested and murdered when the time comes for the final takeover.

Some cower in silence, and/or temper what they post, out of fear of reprisal from the government.  I have been told numerous times that I should stop writing the articles that I write and posting what I post on social network sites, or tone down the rhetoric out of concern for who might be reading and taking notes.  I am critical of despots in government, regardless of political affiliation, and that is dangerous I am told.  The media is already in the pockets of the despots but the independence minded patriots are not, and will not be intimidated into silence.

We the People can win the war against tyranny but we can’t do it by being silent.  We don’t need to run out into the streets shooting guns and yelling, but we cannot win by sitting silently and allowing the thugs in government to run roughshod over our freedoms either.

Go to the movie theater and watch this movie, or better yet buy the DVD and watch it with your children and neighbors. Pass it around to those who will watch it and stand up for freedom.  No one who has fought for freedom, or anyone who has lost a loved one in that fight, will be able to sit through this without tears.  I can’t imagine how anyone who loves freedom will be able to watch without being touched deeply.  I sit here and write this with tears in my eyes, thinking of the sacrifices of so many and how close we are to throwing all of those sacrifices away out of apathy.

Please share this article with everyone you know, make it go viral in honor of those who have given all for your freedom and those who are still sacrificing for liberty today.  You can watch the trailer here.  Also, go to www.standusa.com and join in the community of Americans taking a stand for liberty, I have.

I submit this in the name of the Most Holy Trinity, in faith, with the responsibility given to me by Almighty God to honor His work and not let it die from neglect.
