Democrats Could Be Down for the Count After Montana Special Election Loss

The Democrats continued their losing streak on Thursday when Republican Greg Gianforte prevailed to win the race for the open House seat in Montana’s special election.

Gianforte’s victory was the latest in a series of crushing blows for a party that has lost its way politically and has degenerated into a leaderless pack of conspiracy theorists, hatemongers, and babbling fools since Hillary lost the election last November.

The forlorn and feckless losers have been desperately looking for that one congressional victory that they could use to kick start the narrative that the country has turned against President Donald Trump and they were hoping that the Montana special election would be it.

The liberals resorted to the cynical and patronizing use of a cowboy folk singer with no political experience to put forth an image that Rob Quist was a rugged westerner.

No matter that Quist was for gun control and held socialist views more akin to Bernie Sanders – who campaigned for him – than John Wayne, it was all an illusion and Democrats were hoping that voters would bite.

In addition to the out of state liberal resources that flowed into foisting off Quist as a bona fide rugged hombre instead of the dude ranch desperado that he is, the left got a gift from the heavens when Gianforte inexplicably lost his cool and mixed it up with a metrosexual liberal reporter who was acting in an aggressive manner.

On the eve of the election, Gianforte allegedly body-slammed The Guardian’s Ben Jacobs who was being a pest and interrupted a private interview. While there were conflicting accounts of what actually happened, the liberal media flew into action with hysterical rants from Rachel Maddow and all the usual suspects.

Local authorities then charged the GOP candidate with misdemeanor assault, which was like throwing fresh chum to sharks when it came to the Democrats and the media.

While audio of the incident does indicate a scuffle, there were no howls of pain from Jacobs who was more concerned about his glasses being broken. Yet the liberal noise machine tried to promote the idea that Jacobs was beaten to within an inch of his life by Gianforte.

Some Democrats even called for Gianforte to just give up the race and put Quist into office without even bothering with what the voters wanted.

But then a funny thing happened.

Gianforte won the election handily, administering a swift kick in the ass to dispirited Democrats.

Gianforte then quickly apologized to Jacobs for the pre-election fracas, effectively removing it as an issue.

Some tried to spin the margin of victory as a “win” noting that Trump won the state overwhelmingly against Hillary. This fails to take into account the reality that turnout is always significantly lower in non-presidential elections let alone special ones.

The more activist grass roots Dems – aka Bernie-bots – blamed the national party for withholding resources and failing to fully get behind the singing socialist cowboy while others placed the blame on the hostile local media which they claimed was biased in favor of Republicans. Just like Mrs. Clinton, it was everyone else’s fault but their own.

Quist was as dismal a candidate as he was a cynical choice to run against Gianforte. Friends of mine who live in Montana told me that while Missoula and Helena are being overrun by liberals, that the rest of the state knows the difference between a real and a fake cowboy. The rejection of Quist lends credence to that particular theory.

Then there are those who actually believe that Quist has a political future on a national level.

The nattering nabobs at Rolling Stone magazine are pushing the idea that Quist could become a roving “ambassador” to rural America.

A rural ambassador was born.

The grassroots investment in Quist has also elevated the national profile of a man who could serve as a party ambassador to rural America. The Democratic brand is so toxic in much of red America that the party has been reticent to “nationalize” races in Trump country, for fear open affiliation with the national party could do the candidate more harm than good. In Quist, the Democrats now have a campaign surrogate they could plausibly deploy to help candidates in districts from Alaska to Alabama – if the party has the sense to make use of him.

Good luck with that one. While the elitist snobs in the big liberal cities seem to believe that the majority of Americans are ignorant rubes, they can smell a phony a mile away.

Upon return from his foreign trip, President Trump couldn’t resist needling the Democrats and media over the Montana results.

Now the Democrats will look to the Georgia special election for their champion – a dorky, inexperienced Star Wars geek who vaguely resembles sex pervert Anthony Weiner named Jon Ossoff.

Former Republican and Washington Post quisling George Will was already laying down the propaganda with his column “If Ossoff wins in Georgia, Trump is in for a world of pain in 2018” but the same claim was being made about Rob Quist only five days ago.

Democrats and their front groups will spare no resources on Ossoff’s bid for the congressional seat because if he goes down then it will be a very grim omen for 2018 and beyond for the Resistance.

  1. Often the ‘Illusionist’ is the one that is most “Delusional”…….Do they not realize that IF they actually reach their goal of socialism….where all receive equal distribution of wealth…they too will be right with and same as the rest of us? “Careful what you wish for, Donkey!

      1. You are right, Ray. As soon as Socialism (communism) succeeds the Elitists, who orchestrated its “implementation” in the first place, become the oligarchy of “Natural Superior” who have all the power to redistribute the wealth according to their “superior” wisdom. Then all the selling points of socialism become mute! (Socialism counts upon stupid people to succeed – its such an easy sell…)

But Natural Law says no human is born a beast and no human is born a master. Therefore we all have the equal unalienable right to defend our lives and our property. That is the only way justice can be properly served.

If men were angles we would not need government in the first place (think about that; government exists upon the shoulders of the flawed nature of human beings so how can it possibly NOT tend toward corruption?). With government the force of law should only provide that our Rights (given to us as part of our nature) are equally protected. Beyond that any further laws from government are to some degree THEFT!

We are all equally Human – that is we all have the same human nature and the same unalienable right (not everything defined as a right, IS – most are privileges).
A right is a function of human nature that DOES NOT infringe upon the rights of any other human. In details however, we are all unique; that includes the clear reality (self-evident TRUTH) that some of us are smarted than others of us. Therefore the only way for all us to be truly equal is for all us to be DEAD! ThAT is the true reason globalist of the agenda 21 ilk want to reduce the population of the earth to < 1 billion. They figure 999,999,900 of us are enough to serve the few "Natural Superiors"….

  2. I find it hard to believe that any thinking adult could subscribe to the views expressed in this article.

    1. Carl, perhaps you should try being a “thinking adult” before you judge what “thinking adults” subscribe to.

Common sense subscribes to natural law where the Truth prevails on behalf of justice. Try that for starters…

      1. > Common sense subscribes to natural law where the Truth prevails on behalf of justice.

        Does that mean something?

  3. 50% of Americans are “conspiracy theorists, hatemongers, and babbling fools”? I’d expect to hear that kind of hysterical rant from Ayatollah Khomeini, not an American that loves his country.

But how should we deal with those with whom we disagree? Here’s one way:

“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.”– Matthew 5.44

    1. I don’t curse people. But I do Curse, in the Name of Jesus Christ, the organizations of evil, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Mainstream Media, and every Spiritual Wickedness in High Places!

In fact, we see before us the battle that Gideon “fought” where we the few, shine the light, and the Democrats destroy themselves! They cannot help it – thinking themselves wise they become fools, with a hook in their jaw being drawn down to their destruction!

Cursing these evil organizations are simply an act of Faith – putting into action – in spite of the odds, what the Word has already Spoken. Let the individuals of these organizations act according to “let him who has ears, hear”!

      1. Well, I certainly agree that there’s a lot of evil in the world. I think it’s on all of us to do whatever we can to change that. Thanks for the productive discussion!

      1. Big stick ideology, big stick diplomacy, or big stick policy refers to U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt’s foreign policy: “speak softly, and carry a big stick.” Roosevelt described his style of foreign policy as “the exercise of intelligent forethought and of decisive action sufficiently far in advance of any likely crisis.”[1]

  4. “A rural ambassador was born.”

    ROFLMAO.

Okay. You be sure and send Rob out there with Winchester 30-30 and 9.5 gallon hat props. That’ll sway us flyover rubes. And make sure you don’t load the rifle because ol’ westerner Rob likes to keep his finger on the Trigger at ALL TIMES!

Seriously us “rubes” saw through him like a picture window.

It’s a great idea, RS. Now go smoke another bong!

    Prov. 19:9

  5. The more the Muslims attack us, the more we will vote Republican. And it won’t be hard to remind people that Hillary wanted to bring in 500,000 MORE Muslims from the mideast. Kathy Griffin is starring in a new Republican commercial in Georgia – gotta love that but I’ve read that they are saving it for the last few weeks of the election there. The left are a hideous bunch of whiners and it’s time we show the country what they are all about. I expect Georgia to be a close race – and a win by the R’s there would truly be a kick in the ass for the dems. Now, the R there is down a few points so if you have a little cash in your piggy bank, pull it out and help.
