Republican Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas accused Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer on Tuesday of being involved in the operation to leak Christine Blasey Ford’s letter to the public.
“I believe the Schumer political operation was behind this from the very beginning,” Cotton told conservative commentator Hugh Hewitt during his radio show.
Ford wrote Democratic lawmakers a letter in July accusing Justice Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct more than 35 years ago. During the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing in September, Ford said she did not authorize the letter’s release, despite it being made public.
“We learned last week that a woman named Monica McLean was Ms. Ford’s roommate and she was one of the so-called ‘beach friends’ that encouraged Ms. Ford to go to [Sen.] Dianne Feinstein and the partisan Democrats on the judiciary committee,” Cotton continued. “It just so happens that Monica McLean worked for Preet Bharara, the former U.S. attorney in Manhattan, now a virulent anti-Trump critic on television and former counsel to Chuck Schumer.”
Bharara has been an outspoken detractor of President Donald Trump, even promulgating the case of obstruction against the president. He was also considered to be a protege of the New York senator.
“I strongly suspect that Chuck Schumer’s political operation knew about Ms. Ford’s allegations as far back as July and manipulated the process all along to include taking advantage of Ms. Ford’s confidences and directing her towards left-wing lawyers who apparently may have violated the D.C. code of legal ethics and perhaps may face their own investigation by the D.C. Bar,” Cotton said.
“Another fairytale from Sen. Cotton, reminiscent of his trip to the White House when he lied about what the President said about immigrants from Africa,” a spokesman for Schumer told The Daily Caller News Foundation, referring to Cotton’s denial that Trump called African nations “shithole countries.”

Typical, typical…..the Schumer ‘spokesman’ didn’t deny that the leak came from Schumer, just attacked Tom Cotton with grade school name calling.
Whether Chuckie ‘leaked’ the name or not, we all know that he is a prime lieutenant for the Godfather and releases the daily ‘talking points’

Well a lot of us knew this from the beginning . I didn’t know what was going on till about the 4 th day after all it started , I watched Fords testimony for about 5 minutes and thought to myself either this is a joke or this lady is talking like a injured snowflake / little 3 year old kid making up some f$%ked up s*it ! Now is the time for all responsible for anything to do with this crap should be fired , Have their pensions taken away , put in prison at the very least!! Us tax paying citizens didn’t agree to any of this kind of 3 year old behavior by these yahoos we pay with our hard earned money ! We do f%&cked up sh%&t like this at our jobs and get caught , you bet your $%s we’d get fired with no pension or any of the benefits! It’s time we put a stop to this immature bullsh#$t !
