James Comey Urges Voters to Support Democrats in Midterm Elections

James Comey, the former FBI Director fired by President Donald Trump in May of 2017, is now urging American voters to support Democrats this November.

Comey attacked GOP lawmakers in a tweet Tuesday evening and called on all who believe in this country’s values to vote for Democrats.

“This Republican Congress has proven incapable of fulfilling the Founders’ design that ‘Ambition must … counteract ambition,’” tweeted Comey. “All who believe in this country’s values must vote for Democrats this fall. Policy differences don’t matter right now,” added the fired FBI director. “History has its eyes on us,” said Comey on Twitter.

After Trump’s press conference on Monday with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, Comey tweeted: This was the day an American president stood on foreign soil next to a murderous lying thug and refused to back his own country.”
In another tweet on Monday, Comey also accused Trump of selling out our nation on an international scale. Comey further attacked Trump saying “Trump will not meet down with Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson, he owes it to our nation to sit down with a real journalist.
Comey tweeted: Having sold out our nation on an international stage, Mr. Trump will now explain it all to Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson? I’m guessing RT and Sputnick were unavailable. He owes it to our nation to sit down with a serious journalist.
