White House Deputy Press Secretary Suggests CNN is Disgrace to Journalism

The blossoming fallout over cable “news” network CNN’s latest exposure as an endless fountain of moot information, leftist propaganda and fake news spilled into a second day on Tuesday after the “resignation” of three reporters over a scurrilous story pushing the Trump-Russia conspiracy.

The reeling network is circling the wagons and desperately trying to preserve its brand despite a daily hemorrhaging of credibility over a plethora of fairy tales credited to anonymous sources which may be entirely false.

President Donald Trump again blasted CNN via Twitter on Tuesday morning;

The retraction and “resignations” were bad enough to shake CNN to its roots but they weren’t counting on the bunker buster dropped by conservative activist James O’Keefe and Project Veritas.

Project Veritas released recordings of a CNN producer admitting that the entire Trump-Russia scam is pretty much “bullshit” that is being churned out nightly to bolster ratings.

While the CNN employee who blundered into Project Veritas’ trap is a dead man walking, the rest of the establishment media is flying into action lest their own bullshit stories also risk being exposed as fake news.

But as the saying goes, it’s too late to close the barn door after the horses have run off.

On Tuesday, during the White House briefing, Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders encouraged people to view the incriminating video and denounced CNN as a “disgrace to journalism” while recommending that everyone view the Project Veritas material to make their own judgment.

This could get really ugly….

According to the Washington Examiner “Sarah Sanders: CNN a ‘disgrace’ to journalism”:

Deputy White House press secretary Sarah Sanders on Tuesday accused CNN of being a “disgrace” to journalism and cited a new undercover video in which a producer for the network suggested that the news media are sensationalizing its coverage of the Russia-collusion story.

Sanders said during the White House press briefing Tuesday that President Trump is “frustrated” by the “constant barrage of fake news” about his administration and the federal investigation into whether his 2016 campaign colluded with Russia.

She noted that CNN had to retract a Russia story last week, and told reporters in the room to watch the undercover video, produced by the conservative sting activist James O’Keefe.

“There’s a video circulating now, whether it’s accurate or not I don’t know, but I would encourage everybody in this room and frankly, everybody across the country, to take a look at it,” she said. “I think if it is accurate, I think it’s a disgrace to all of media, to all of journalism.”

“I think that we have gone to a place where if the media can’t be trusted to report the news, then that’s a dangerous place for America,” she added.

Fully understanding the implications that their game may be over, the weasels in the media have already begun spinning Huckabee’s words out of context. One of the players who is telling readers to believe him and not their own lying eyes and ears is The Guardian’s Ben Jacobs.

If you recognize the name, it’s because he was the obnoxious twerp who was “body-slammed” by Montana’s newest member of Congress Greg Gianforte on the night before he won the special election against the Democratic party’s fake cowboy.

All of these propagandists have skin in this game and stand to lose big if they are revealed as the careerists and dishonest power-sucklers that they are.

Despite the flak, CNN was promoting a Russian election meddling special tonight with commentary by John Podesta and Hillary Clinton, hardly unbiased sources of information on the subject.

So much for the new journalistic guidelines at the Clinton News Network.
