This cartoon is in really poor taste! I usually find the cartoons amusing and many should be published along with the liberal ones. But this one! is really not right.
Barry, Although I am a huge Branco fan, this didn’t draw a chuckle from me either. Some time a ‘cartoon’ is simply a message of sorts. In this case I suspect it represents Biden’s slip in the poll, but at least his wife stands by him…..Let’s face it, Cartoonist think differently than us.
I would like to hear more about how or why you think this is in bad taste & not right. The fact that you looked at it shows a sense of humor and commenting shows you care (if only more did) Two very good traits!
Jan, I have listened to Mr. Biden on occasions, listened to reports commenting, even heard a retired radiologist on Rush’s show, that he, Mr. Biden, may have some form of mental degeneration. Obviously, a medical doctor could not comment on his mental status but the facts are there if you listen to Mr. Biden, there is something wrong. To make fun of this condition, retrogression into childhood from being an adult is in poor taste.
Granted I may have missed the fact that Mrs. Biden is standing behind her husband, as any good spouse should do. But the inference of his mental condition or problem(s) (note, I didn’t use issues!) to make fun is inappropriate.
Barry, Thanks for getting back. Your reasoning is a I suspected it would be……very VALID and one I can agree with. I simply hadn’t considered that angle although I have made comments in conversations questioning it I felt the same way when Mohammed Ali had his last fight. Like them or not, they have both given a lot to their ‘game’ . It’s heartbreaking to watch this deterioration as I am with my own “love of my life”
I wonder which of his braying opponents will be the first to use this against him….Ugly is just getting warmed up and their hate Trump won’t be enough.
Again, appreciate the dialog….it helps to keep my own opinions in balance.
