President Joe Biden’s Schedule for Friday, July 1, 2022

Schedule Summary:

President Joe Biden will receive his daily briefing, hold a meeting with blue state governors to figure out how to circumvent the Supreme Court ruling (Dobbs) that ended federal protections for abortion, and then head off for another long weekend.

The abortion meeting makes little sense. The Dobbs decision didn’t make abortion illegal, it just left the decision to the states. It is unclear why blue state governors need a meeting, it’s not like they are going to make baby-killing illegal in their states.

After the meeting, the president will head off for another long weekend – this time at Camp David.
