Disagreement is Not Bigotry or Hate

This battle between Representatives Omar and Boebert has been fun to watch, but I am not sure it will end well. I need to state that I am a fan of Rep. Lauren Boebert. I like her views, energy, honesty, and spunk. I think she is a patriot and a breath of fresh air in Congress. I also need to stipulate that I am not a fan of Rep. Ilan Omar. I think she hates this country that gave her such an opportunity. She has gone from being a refugee from Somalia to being a part of the Congress of the greatest nation on Earth. She is an anti-Semite and has not been accountable for the many offenses she has been accused of—these range from immigration fraud to tax fraud and misuse of campaign funds. Now she has the gall to expect accountability for one of her colleagues.

Rep. Boebert may have crossed the line when she called Omar, The Jihad, possibly equating her to a suicide bomber. Apparently, the comments hit close to home, as they should have, as Omar has been calling for a public apology and action against Boebert by the Republican leadership. Right now, she is getting neither.

Boebert reached out to Omar by phone with the hope of putting this episode behind them. The effort failed. When Boebert refused to make a public apology, the conversation soured, Omar hung up, and the feud continues. This catfight does not deserve time on the House floor or action by the leadership of either party.

This battle of two strong women is symbolic of the division between government and America. You have Omar, the poster child for the Progressive Left. She hates America, wants to transform America, and you wonder why she is in Congress. Boebert is the polar opposite of Omar. She loves America, is a strong advocate of the second amendment, believes in individual rights and small government.

There will be no apology that will satisfy Omar. She wants to destroy Boebert. She would be happy if the Republican leadership censored her and called for a recall election to find her replacement. That is the Left. Cancel and eliminate anyone who disagrees with you. No debate, just elimination.

We have had plenty of instances in the recent past of Democrats, specifically the Squad, saying something derogatory about a person or group. There has been little accountability for such actions. Omar has been scrutinized often. Her comments about Israel and Jews reinforce her hatred for the Jewish people. She supported BLM and the riots of 2020 while pushing for defunding of the Police. There is evidence that she married her brother to scheme the immigration system, possible tax fraud, and misusing campaign funds.

Omar has much to answer for and to apologize for. She is the poster child of who should not be in Congress. When she squares these issues with the American public and reconciles her feelings about America, she can insist on public apologies. Until then, she best takes another phone call from Boebert, graciously accepts the apology, and doesn’t hang up until she says goodbye.

  1. A great article. thanks, Ray.

Millions of Americans are unavoidably resentful of Omar’s presumptuousness. She seems to think life in America revolves around her. Fortunately, it doesn’t. She is a user and an abuser. She wants what she wants, when she wants it and when she doesn’t get it, she responds with her special brand of HATE AMERICA! If she is the poster child for Islam, America is not buying it!

  2. Apology was her biggest mistake. In normal world it would have been proper, but not with these Marxist/jihadi revolutionary scumbags. Proper response is to get right in their face and fight fire with fire, niceties are sign of weakness and defeat. They don’t want any dialogue or exchange ideas, they want to destroy you, period.

  3. Nice article Ray. So true Boebert is a patriot and a breath of fresh air! Omar is a disgrace to Congress. The problem is that she is from the district that has a lot of Somalians from good ole Barry Obama who let a bunch in and sent them to Minneapolis. They will still vote for her even if she murdered someone. They have projects they live in and they hate Americans. I know because my Son was sent over there to do a job and he told me they looked at him like they wanted to kill him! He said he was glad to get out of there. Several went to Syria and joined Isis to fight against us. Running across the border into Iraq and then back into Syria. It seems like the socialist left try to stifle the patriots and let those in that hate us! It will come to a head when they attempt to take away our “Right to Bare Arms” I believe. Our only hope is the “22” elections. I told someone the other day who was saying “in a Civil War the Democrats would crush the Republicans”. I told him how will that happen when you don’t believe in having guns and a lot of Republicans have 2-3 or more guns? And it won’t be like Seattle and Portland where the police were told to “stand down”. It’s easy for Antifa to bully when those being attacked don’t fight back. When people are protecting their family and homes, it will be totally different. God forbid that should ever happen!

  4. You are right! There is only one thing bullies respond to, Show more aggression back! Apologies and niceties is weakness and blood in the water to them. Knock a bully on his arse and he will know what he has stepped into. And most of the time they don’t have the shoes for it! They don’t want to go there. Some may fight back but even if they win, they will walk across the street if they see you coming because they don’t want a round two. That’s the only gripe I have with most Republicans these days. If they would have jumped into their face right away it wouldn’t have gotten this far. I have heard Democrats say, “Republicans talk tough but do nothing!” It’s way past that now!

  5. I have posted this before and i will keep posting it because of its accuracy..
Systemic RACISM is not a lie but its coming from the left.. hell let’s not dance around it and call it directly. its coming from BLACK AMERICA… I judge people individually but as a whole I have judge BLACK AMERICA for the content of their character .. and have learn them (and yes them) to be extremely racist, criminal and not trustworthy as a whole … but i will continue to judge people individually and I didn’t grow up feeling like this this strongly about it… i have experience racism and have been victimized by blacks in this country ..and all i keep seeing is black America mainly teachings of hate of America and black Americans abusing Asian , Latin’s , whites all over the place while accusing them of racism to hide from their abuse.. people start calling it out.. you don’t have to keep taking this abuse from the black community
