Buttigieg Campaign Appears To Have Edited Town Hall Video To Add Applause

Pete Buttigieg’s presidential campaign appears to have edited a video from a CNN town hall to add audience applause in a version they posted online.

The Buttigieg campaign posted a clip from a May 2019 CNN town hall ahead of another town hall on Thursday night.

The Center for Popular Democracy Action, a left-wing political group, posted a side-by-side of the original video next to the apparently edited version, showing that the loud audience applause in the edited version was absent from the original version.

“Statistically, we run the risk of being the first generation in American history to actually be worse off economically than our parents if nothing is done to change the trajectory of this economy,” Buttigieg says in the video.

“To me, that is not just a concern for our generation, it’s a concern that calls on us to build an alliance among generations to try to make sure that the future is better than the past,” he continued.

At that point in the edited video, the audience appeared to have broken out into thunderous applause, but in the unedited version, Buttigieg actually continued talking.

The Buttigieg campaign didn’t return a request for comment on the edited video.

  1. What’s the appeal? What is so “Obama-esque” about Buttigieg? Obama was a perfect candidate because he was immune to criticism. Disagreement resulted in a public branding of “racism,” which effectively won every argument before it was fought. Is Buttigieg similarly shielded because he is homosexual? Is disagreement going to result in charges of homophobia? It’s not that you loathe socialism. It’s because you fear and hate gay people. Is that why rich leftists should invest their money in a young, photogenic yet mediocre mayor who just happens to be a loud and proud homosexual who “married” another man, presumably the love of his life, and who are you to question his motives, you hating homophobe, you.

  2. (Petee looks like a Who to me) Petee tries to make himself out some kind of Christian but no liar shall see the Kingdom of God and no faggot is going to see it either. To come in “MY” name falsely is to throw open the gates of hell for yourself!

And btw I am no homo-phobe. I am not one bit afraid of any of them. I don’t hate them either. Jesus said to love your enemies (what they do is NOT worth what it is going to cost them!) but He never said I had to like them!
