Senior Iranian officials are using Twitter to hint at threats against President Trump’s properties — including his Mar-a-Lago Club resort in Florida and Trump Tower in Manhattan — over the killing of Iran’s top military commander.
Hesameddin Ashena, a top adviser to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, tweeted a link to a Forbes magazine video that listed the properties in the U.S. and Britain, none of which is fortified to withstand a military attack, along with a quote from the late Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.
According to Supreme, Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei:
‘Death to America’ means death to Trump, John Bolton, and Mike Pompeo.
It means death to American rulers.
“We have no problems with the American people.”
The singling out of both Trump and his properties come amid a series of threats exchanged between the two nations in the wake of the US killing of top Iranian commander, Quds leader Qasem Soleimani, on January 2.
Tehran has sworn revenge for Soleimani’s death and yesterday announced it was abandoning its remaining nuclear limits under the 2015 deal.

The recent tensions were ignited on December 27, when an Iranian-backed militia group, Kataib Hezbollah, bombed the K-1 Air Base near Kirkuk in northern Iraq at the direction of Soleimani (per Reuters) – killing a US contractor and wounding several others.
In response, US forces struck Iranian targets in Syria, killing 25 and wounding 50 – resulting in the New Year’s Eve protests at the US embassy in Iraq in which militia groups aligned with Soleimani caused significant damage to the compound.
Trump has also threatened additional action if Iran retaliates for Soleimani’s death.
The president and his aides insist that the decision to kill Qassem Soleimani was the right move and have now threatened to target 52 Iranian sites if Tehran strikes back. The number 52 is the number of hostages that were taken by Iran under Reagan.
Trump defended his decision to take out Iran Gen. Qasem Soleimani in a surprise call to Rush Limbaugh’s show.
“This should have been done for the last 15-20 years,” Trump said. “Him in particular. He was their real military leader. He’s a terrorist. He was designated as a terrorist by Obama, and then Obama did nothing about it.”
Trump noted that Soleimani was responsible for providing IEDs and anti-tank bombs to terrorists to help them target American troops in the Middle East.
“Much of that stuff was made in Iran. He should have been taken out a long time ago,” Trump said. “And we had a shot at him and we took him out, and we’re a lot safer now because of it.
Meanwhile, Nancy Pelosi and her fellow Dems are trying to say Trump should have consulted Congress before acting to kill Soleimani. If Trump had been in charge of killing Bin Laden you can imagine how the media and Dems would be chastising him saying what a great prophet Bin laden was like they are doing with Trump and Solenmani now. If Obama had been in charge of killing Soleimani they would be praising him to the highest heavens and giving him all kinds of accolades and awards. The media mob and Dems appear quite schizophrenic over the killing of Soleimani. They say what a murderous thug and evil man he was, but Trump shouldn’t have done that without consulting them first. Trump’s job is to protect the country from all evil forces foreign and domestic and he’s doing just that. Obama launched 2,220 bombing raids over Iraq and NEVER consulted congress.
In a surprise statement former Obama Homeland security Secretary Jeh Johnson said on Meet the Press “If you believe everything that our government is saying about General Soleimani, he was a lawful military objective, and the president, under his constitutional authority as commander in chief, had ample domestic legal authority to take him out without an additional congressional authorization. Whether he was a terrorist or a general in a military force that was engaged in armed attacks against our people, he was a lawful military objective.”
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced plans to restrict President Trump’s ability to conduct military operations against Iran, potentially crippling the U.S. ability to respond to an attack.
Pelosi and other Democrats have been largely critical of Trump’s decision to conduct an airstrike in Iraq that killed Iranian terrorist Gen. Qassem Soleimani, claiming he did not properly notify Congress in advance and warning about the risk of escalation in the region, although his strike did not require congressional authorization.
“This week, the House will introduce and vote on a War Powers Resolution to limit the President’s military actions regarding Iran,” Pelosi wrote in a letter to fellow Democrats, referring to a similar Senate resolution to be introduced by Sen. Tim Kaine.
“It reasserts Congress’s long-established oversight responsibilities by mandating that if no further Congressional action is taken, the Administration’s military hostilities with regard to Iran cease within 30 days.”
House Intel Chairman Adam Schiff, doing the only thing he knows, called for Congressional hearings into Trump’s drone strike that killed Soleimani.“The president has put us on a path where we may be at war with Iran. That requires the Congress to fully engage,” Schiff told WaPo.
In essence, Democrats in the house will vote to manufacture a virtual surrender of the United States to Iran, putting every American at risk.
The Dems and weak-kneed Republicans have always been the party of appeasement and surrender which is why we are in the predicament we are in now. They don’t seem to understand the concept of peace through strength. Trump fights back and is building us up to be the number one nation we always were and should be. These Mullahs and Iranian leaders have never seen a president like Trump. They are used to us giving into them like Clinton, Bush and Obama. Obama gave them 150 billion dollars in a bribe not to attack us plus an additional billion to free the hostages. Trump freed 20 hostages without a cent.
On the impeachment front, Nancy Pelosi has still refused to hand over documents to the senate which needs them a trial and at the same time trying to put all kinds of rules and restrictions on the senate for a trial while she calls Trump a dictator. She’s the one being the dictator here trying to tell the Senate what to do which is out of her jurisdiction. Personally I don’t think she wants a trial because s he knows it could ruin her career and the senate will vote against impeaching Trump, but she’s being pressured by her fellow Dems to do it.
Rep. Josh Hawley of Missouri said “You know, Nancy Pelosi is attempting to obstruct a Senate trial. That’s all there is to it. the Constitution says that the Senate is the one that will have the trial it. Says the trial will follow the impeachment. Now she is trying to prevent a trial. She is trying to obstruct it and upend the Constitution. Here’s what needs to happen. We need to change the Senate rules to allow the Senate to dismiss this case if she refuses to send the articles over.”
Just think this whole mess is all because they refused to accept the results of an election that didn’t go their way as planned.
I can’t believe you stated that the embassy hostages were taken under Reagan. The embassy was taken over in 1979 while the dim-witted Carter was pretending to be president.
