Recently President Trump tweeted that .”I don’t want to Win for myself, I only want to Win for the people. The New @FoxNews is letting millions of GREAT people down! We have to start looking for a new News Outlet. Fox isn’t working for us anymore!”
Trump has also tweeted that. “Fox is changing and there is something going on there.” When Fox News first merged on the scene they were an alternative to the other liberal biased news stations and publications like ABC, NBC, CBS, The New York Times, MSNBC, and CNN, but over the years they have become more and more liberal like the other stations. They still have the good amount of Conservative hosts like Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Tucker Carlson, and Jeanine Pirro but they are slowly getting more and more liberal especially hiring people like Donna Brazile who gave Hillary the answers to debate questions before hand.
When Rupert Murdoch started Fox he was a liberal himself, but saw a chance to make a lot of money by presenting the other side. Since his sons have taken over who are more liberal than their dad, things are changing. Trump has even mentioned that he is liking One America News Network (OANN) which is a conservative news network not on all cable outlets yet.
Now Fox News host Neil Cavuto took the President to task on Thursday when responding to Trump’s criticism of the network. Trump’s Fox feud escalated Thursday morning when he told Fox News radio host Brian Kilmeade that he was “unhappy with the network.” But, it was the President’s tweet from Wednesday in which he declared “fox isn’t working for us!” that prompted Cavuto’s response.
“First of all, Mr. President, we don’t work for you. I don’t work for you. My job is to cover you, not fawn over you, or rip you, just report on you, to call balls and strikes on you. My job Mr. President, our job here is to keep the score, not settle scores,” said Cavuto in response to the tweet.
Cavuto checked Trump by pointing out multiple examples of the President’s own misinformation and false claims. “I’m not the one who said tariffs are a wonderful thing; you are. I’m not the one that said Mexico would pay for the wall; you did. Just like I’m not the one who claimed Russia didn’t meddle in the 2016 election; you did,” said the Fox News host.
Cavuto continued reading off false claims made by Trump, like when he denied paying off Stormy Daniels; he said the Access Hollywood tape was fake; he claimed that he inherited a depression from Obama; and his recent reversal on background checks for guns within hours. “These aren’t fake items. They are real items, and you really said them,” said Cavuto adding “Fake is when it’s wrong Mr. President, not when it’s unpleasant.”
Cavuto is right and wrong at the same time. The news anchors do cover him but never report on all the positive things he’s doing, just the negative and salacious things like Stormy Daniels. Because of Trump’s policies there are more people working than ever before and at higher wages. There are now seven million new jobs created and there are more jobs available than people looking for them. We are now energy independent since Trump opened new pipelines and approved drilling in places formerly cut off like in ANWAR. You won’t hear them report on the750 regulations Trump cut from Obama’s1200 regulations which were controlling us. You won’t hear them talk about the tax cuts he gave everyone thru doubling their many deductions from under Obama. You won’t hear them mention that under their guy Obama 16 million people were on food stamps and 8 million were in poverty and how Trump is changing all that now with more people working and off of food stamps and out of poverty. No you won’t hear any of that from the mainstream fake news media just negative attack Trump articles because they are so triggered their corrupt gal Hillary lost.
Trump did say Mexico would pay for the wall, but it was not an intentional lie as he did have plans for Mexico to pay for it, but after a year in battle he realized they weren’t going to pay for it, but the new Mexican president is being tough on immigration for us and holding people back.
Trump may have reversed on background checks, but it was after more research was done so he’s entitled to change his mind there. There were always background checks and criminals still get through. There are currently over 200 gun laws on the books. You don’t need new ones, just enforce the existing ones.
As far as tariffs go they are working and we are getting billions back in here from China that were previously ripped off from us. The truth is, the U.S. economy is doing much better than most of the world and much better than projected precisely because of Trump’s tax and regulatory policies. Trump is right that China and other countries have gotten away with murder on trade for decades, and Trump is dealing with it after previous presidents and Congress looked the other way. The media, in their reporting, act as though there were no tariffs prior to Trump, and that is an intentional attempt to mislead the public.
I don’t know about Trump saying he inherited a depression from Obama , but he did say he inherited a big mess which he did. It certainly appears that journalists and other Democrats would rather have power and a bad economy than jobs for the American people. If we had an honest media, instead of most journalists campaigning to elect Democrats and destroy Trump, they would cheer on the good economic results instead of seeking to remake America with massive job destruction in the private sector. Why would anyone want to go back to Obama policies and worse that gave us the slowest economic recovery in seventy years?
In the end, Cavuto acknowledged that the media isn’t always fair to the President, but that doesn’t mean he’s entitled to his own facts, or special treatment. “Hard as it is to fathom, Mr. President, just because you’re the leader of the free world, doesn’t entitle you to a free pass. Unfortunately just a free press,” Cavuto said in closing.
Meanwhile, Trump spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany went one on one with Chris (Fredo) Cuomo. CNN host and one of its head anti-President Donald Trump propagandists, Chris Cuomo, showed his bias again. He attacked President Trump’s spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany and when she called him on the lies his own network tells her end of the interview.
Cuomo browbeat McEnany in an attempt to get her to admit that President Trump has lied to the American people. “He doesn’t lie,” McEnany said, not taking the bait of the CNN host in their Wednesday interview. “Guess who lies? The press lies. Time and time again. He’s frustrated with media coverage,” she said about President Trump’s tweet that Fox News is not working for conservatives anymore. “He’s fighting for the people in his movement. He didn’t say Fox News should work for him,” she said to the host.
Cuomo then put the president’s tweet on the screen and again took his words out of context to suggest he thinks Fox News works for him.
“Here we go again. This is more fake news,” she said as Cuomo interrupted her in an attempt to make her look ridiculous.
“The tweet is right in front of their faces,” he shouted at his guest unprofessionally. “If he didn’t lie, if he didn’t take…”
He doesn’t lie,” McEnany said, stopping a furious Cuomo in his tracks. “He doesn’t lie. Guess who lies, the press lies.”
“You don’t think the president has lied to the American people? He has never lied to the American people?” the host said.
“No, I don’t think the president has lied,” she said as she again called Cuomo on the numerous lies of the press.
Wow! That blew me right out of my head,” Cuomo said, afraid to confront the truth of his propaganda machine. “Interview’s over, Kayleigh.”
“You will not have credibility with the audience. You got a long way to go, Kayleigh,” Cuomo said as he continued to attack his guest.“You may not like what I say, that doesn’t make it a lie. He lies all the time and you know it,” Cuomo insisted.
Cuomo attacked Kayleigh by saying Trump calls the media the enemy of the people and fake news.“I think you should take a look in the mirror, Chris,” McEnany fired back at the blatantly biased host and propagandist.
“I do. And I don’t like these lines,” he quipped and then said. “but I do like that I don’t lie to my audience every damn chance I get.”
Trump is right, the media is the enemy of the people. Trump is doing so many great things for the people of this country and sacrificing his own wealth for it, donating his salary to worthy causes and the media never reports any of these things instead they just attack, attack and spread lies by taking what he says out of context. They even make things up and broadcast it and actually convince themselves it is true like what Lawrence O’Donnell did recently on MSNBC.
Kayleigh McEnany, put the lying Cuomo in his place. The fake media try running over the American people with their lying tales. Slowly but surely the people are learning the truth. President Trump has saved the American people from the power grabbing Democrats, the never Trumpers, the fake media and he RINOS and has made America Great Again.
Fox News started to change when Disney (parent company of ABC) bough the network. Fox is slowly morphing int ABC News.
With that said there is still “fair and balanced” reporting (for now) only tilting more left. Juan Williams and Shepard Smith and some of their guests are far too left to suit my tastes
I agree … those ‘questionable’ Fox reporters are turning me away from Fox, and I’ve been a supporter for many years. At least there are quite a few Internet hosts who are good researchers … but it’s a struggle. You Tube, etc are going to become bigger problems as the re-election nears. I hope (and pray) the White House is taking steps that we aren’t aware of to straighten things out.
