Pelosi And Dems Knock Trump While His Approval Soars

Ever since Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff and the rest of the Dems lost power three years ago, they have become so bitter, enraged and their minds so triggered with hate that they have become like mad lunatics escaped from an asylum. Instead of working with Trump to make America a better place they have been working against him at every turn, the country and people be damned. The left opposes whatever President Trump supports. Like the old Groucho Marx expression  “Whatever it is, I’m against it.”

Now  House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has come out with guns blazing against Donald Trump’s coronavirus response in recent days.

Some of the comments Pelosi has made about Trump are leading to speculation that she is preparing to initiate another impeachment push once the coronavirus crisis is over.

Pelosi said in a Sunday interview with CNN, “The president’s denial at the beginning was deadly. His delay in getting equipment to where it’s needed is deadly … As the president fiddles, people are dying.”

She continued by saying, “I don’t know what the scientists said to him … What did he know and when did he know it? That’s for an after-action review,” foreshadowing her launch of an investigation into Trump’s actions that was announced today.

President Trump, like most world leaders, may not have taken the threat seriously enough in the very early days, but Pelosi completely failed to mention that Trump shut down travel from China while she was busy concentrating the entire legislative branch’s energy on her failed impeachment scheme.

She has a lot of gall saying Trump was late. She and Schumer and Schiff should all look in the mirror. They were so consumed with their impeachment charade that they failed to see the proverbial fire in the forest for the trees. As soon as Trump heard there was one death from this virus he put the travel ban in place that saved millions of lives. The Dems called him xenophobic and racist then.  Meanwhile, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was out in San Francisco’s Chinatown in late February encouraging people to go out in public and spend money at local businesses despite concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus.

Under Obama in 2009, the swine flu epidemic affected 60 million people, hospitalized 274,304 people and killed 12,469 and Obama didn’t do anything or react until 1000 had died. Talk about being late for the party.

Compare that to what’s happening under Trump so far. Under Trump there are 216,000 confirmed cases, 5,137 deaths and 8,672 recovered. Now who’s the one who acted late?

Hey Nancy, let´s just call it the Nancy Pelosi San Francisco virus. People of all races live in San Francisco so we can all share the benefits of this virus. Nancy seems to be getting the greatest benefits from the virus by using it as a weapon against President Trump in the coming election. If she can just get the names of the older voters who die from the virus infection, she will be able to recruit some of her local illegal aliens to vote under their names.

The president has been extremely proactive in the past few weeks in terms of combating the virus. He has shown that he is decisive enough to lead our nation in a time of crisis, but Pelosi is always looking for a new opportunity to tear him down.

It has been a very long time since Americans last saw such a clear distinction between the considerable leadership qualities of their president, and the shameless political maneuverings of an opposition party constantly lusting for power. Let us review exactly what has happened in this country over the past two months, vis-a-vis the coronavirus pandemic.

On January 29, President Donald Trump created a White House Coronavirus Task Force to coordinate the federal government’s response to the virus outbreak and to keep the American people as informed about it as possible.

At that time, you might recall, congressional Democrats were giving precisely ZERO attention to the coronavirus threat. They had not held even a single hearing — for even a single moment — about the matter. Instead, they had spent the preceding four months entirely obsessed with one agenda item: impeaching President Trump and trying to remove him from office. The Senate impeachment trial, which had commenced on January 21, was still in high gear. Since the previous September, the faces of Nancy Pelosi, Charles Schumer, Jerrold Nadler, Adam Schiff, and a host of other Democrats had become fixtures on every television screen in America as they salivated over the smell of political blood. They talked about nothing but impeachment, as their normal legislative duties were all but forgotten. Coronavirus was, quite literally, the last thing on any of their minds.

Two days later, on January 31, President Trump formally declared coronavirus to be a public health emergency and he implemented a ban on travel from China to the United States. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci later noted that “the very timely decision on the part of the president to shut off travel from China” had “absolutely” gone “a long way” toward limiting the number of coronavirus infections in the U.S.  “We did it early,” said Fauci, “and as it turned out, there were relatively few cases, in the big picture of things, that came in from China. Unfortunately … in European countries they didn’t do that [ban travel from China], and they got hit really hard…. When the infection burden shifted from China to Europe, we did the same thing. We shut off travel from Europe, which again was another safeguard to prevent influx from without, in.” Also by Fauci’s telling, the Trump administration’s “coordinated response” to the crisis — dating back to “the beginning [when] we [first] recognized what this [virus] was” — had been undeniably “impressive.” “I can’t imagine that, under any circumstances, anybody could be doing more,” said Fauci.

While Trump began acting on the problem as far back as January, Democrats sat back and claimed Trump was a racist for trying to hold China accountable for exposing the world to the deadly illness.

It was Democrats who were minimizing the danger the entire time. Leftist media outlets refused to acknowledge that international travel was a key factor in the spread of coronavirus, all the while panicking about perceived xenophobia, and Pelosi was right there with them.

Yes if it wasn’t for Trump putting the travel ban on China and Europe Dr. Fauci said the projected deaths could have been as high as 2,000,000.

Meanwhile nearly half of adults (48%) say  Trump is doing an excellent job responding to the outbreak. An overwhelming majority of Republicans (83%) express positive views compared with just 18% of democrats. Since then Trump’s job approval has increased significantly among a number of groups including members of both parties, women (from 37% in January to 44% today) black adults (from 8% to 18%) and Hispanic adults( from 27% to 37%).
