Trump to Meet With Kim – The Art of the Deal?

                                TrumpandKim

President Trump has agreed to sit down with his North Korean nemesis Kim Jong Un sometime in the next two months to discuss stripping the hermit nation of its nuclear arsenal, it was announced Thursday.

The historic meeting was brokered by the South Korean government, which delivered the invitation to the White House and divulged the details outside the West Wing.

“He expressed his eagerness to meet President Trump as soon as possible,” South Korean national security director Chung Eui-yong said of Kim.

“President Trump appreciated the briefing and said he would meet Kim Jong Un by May to achieve permanent denuclearization.”

According to Chung, the North also agreed to suspend nuclear and missile tests during such future talks — a longstanding US demand.

The relationship between the two world leaders has been downright nasty at times — with Trump repeatedly calling Kim “Little Rocket Man” and Kim dubbing the president a “mentally deranged US dotard.”

After Kim made threats against the US in a New Year’s address and mentioned the “nuclear button” on his office desk, Trump responded by tweeting that he has a nuclear button, too, “but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!”

But Trump struck a more conciliatory tone Tuesday, when he tweeted about the possibility of a diplomatic solution to the conflict.

“Possible progress being made in talks with North Korea. For the first time in many years, a serious effort is being made by all parties concerned,” Trump wrote.

“The World is watching and waiting! May be false hope, but the U.S. is ready to go hard in either direction!”

No American president has ever met with a North Korean leader.

I’m sure with Trump having our two biggest aircraft carriers loaded and ready along with two nuclear powered submarines off Kim’s coast helped in making Kim capitulate which the media doesn’t mention either. They act like it’s Trump who is capitulating to Kim. The left wing destroy Trump media never met a dictator they didn’t like.

Trump tweeted:”Kim Jong Un talked about denuclearization with the South Korean Representatives, not just a freeze,” Trump wrote to his 48.4 million followers. “Also, no missile testing by North Korea during this period of time. Great progress being made but sanctions will remain until an agreement is reached. “

With the announcement that Trump will meet with Kim in May the lamestream destroy Trump media is so filled with jealousy and rage that they are becoming conflicted. Huffington Post has a headline article about Trump’s new ratings beingup but the article is full of negatives about Trump. They have his poll numbers at 42% which is still higher than Obama’s at this time while many others have him at 50%. They cite a Marist Poll, but maybe it should be a Marxist poll.

CNN and MSNBC have praised Trump for his move with North Korea, but they too seem conflicted.

CNN’s Erin Burnett said Thursday that if President Trump can solve the U.S. problem with North Korea, he “would be going down as a great president.”

But CNN National Security analyst Samantha Vinogard said “There is no way that President Trump can be ready, by May, to have a high stakes negotiation on denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula. It’s just impossible,”

I wonder if they are praising him only because their ratings have been so low. Let’s see how long they continue to praise him. They should have been praising him long before this for all the great things he’s been doing for the country instead of letting their own prejudices get in the way and censoring his accomplishments from the people.
