Liberal movies and television programs push the idea of “protection”, but not the kind of protection that could save even one life during a school shooting, nor protect students from mass deaths if a shooting started.
Very likely there were some students at the Florida high school that was attacked last week who had “protection” on them, but the kind of protection that they needed for active self-defense, like a pistol or a rifle in the possession of an actual protector, was completely missing, and contributed to the loss of 17 lives in Florida last week.
If students have the responsibility to protect themselves against STDs (and this form of “protection” is pushed by Hollywood liberals ad nauseam in ads and films), why can’t they, their parents, other adults or teachers, carry self-defense protection to prevent mass killings by insane people?
If liberals in the law-enforcement profession will not implement and enforce laws against crimes employing guns, and if they plea-bargain for lesser charges and in the process drop the gun charges, how are we going to keep gun-carrying nut cases from committing repeat crimes, and how can society intimidate border-line crazy people and prevent future gun crimes?
The lying, leftist press, in their usual attempt to defame President Trump and to politicize the gun issue, is claiming that there have been 18 school shootings in 2018! So in 50 days, we’ve had 18 school shootings? This is a total lie, and the proof of its untruth is that we have not been inundated by the same breathless, political reporting, 24/7, that we’ve seen since the Florida shootings last week. The lying press is reporting the 18 former events that they claim may have happened near or on school grounds. But if there have been this many actual school shootings in 2018, why are we only now hearing about them? Because this is just more Fake News from the liberal press.
Liberals are the cause of nearly any problem facing America, and the more serious the problem the more involvement liberals have in the issue‘s cause, and passing another law restricting gun ownership would just be another law that liberal prosecutors would plea bargain away in order to get an easy conviction on a lesser charge, and the law will therefore go unenforced, which is exactly the situation with laws already on the books. So why pass more laws that will only be a waste of paper and will not solve anything? And we also need law enforcement professionals like sheriff’s offices and the FBI to respond to reports of suspicious statements and actions as citizens recognize possible threats they discover in their daily lives.
But the situation is made worse by snot-nosed young people who only quote the Democrat party line drivel and who are probably supporters of Bernie Sanders to boot, telling us what legislation will stop the killings, when one of Bernie’s own followers shot a group of Republicans a few months ago, nearly killing one of them, as they assembled to play baseball in a Washington DC suburb. Liberals claim to have a “sensible’ solution to gun shootings, but I’ve found that people who lack “common sense” are unable to offer “sensible” solutions to anything.
Schools, and the young people who attend them, need real “protection”, not the symbolic kind that Hollywood likes to discuss because of its prurient attractiveness, and liberals have no idea how to provide such protection.
