Author Of Trump Book Can’t Be Sure All Is True

MichaelWolff

So-called journalist Michael Wolff wrote a tell-all anti-Trump book. Naturally, the Destroy Trump media is gobbling it up and anti-Trumpers across the land who believe this garbage put out daily by the left wing biased propaganda media are also gobbling it up.

Michael Wolff, the author of “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” included a note at the start that casts significant doubt on the reliability of the specifics contained in the rest of its pages.

Several of his sources, he says, were definitely lying to him, while some offered accounts that flatly contradicted those of others.

But some were nonetheless included in the vivid account of the West Wing’s workings in a process Wolff describes as “allowing the reader to judge” whether the sources’ claims are true.” His process is lazy and likely led to the poor product he put out. Journalists are trained to get the facts and accurately report them. To be credible, they must be able to back their statements up with evidence. Wolff failed to do that.

In other cases, the media columnist said, he used his journalistic judgment and research to arrive at what he describes as “a version of events I believe to be true.” That’s will naturally result in a one-sided opinion. Wolff also wrote that “he said whatever was necessary to get a story.”

Here is the relevant part of the note, from the 10th page of the book’s prologue:

“Many of the accounts of what has happened in the Trump White House are in conflict with one another; many, in Trumpian fashion, are baldly untrue. These conflicts, and that looseness with the truth, if not with reality itself, are an elemental thread of the book.

“Sometimes I have let the players offer their versions, in turn allowing the reader to judge them. In other instances I have, through a consistency in the accounts and through sources I have come to trust, settled on a version of events I believe to be true.”

“Fire and Fury” is a poorly written book. The author doesn’t verify any facts. He just restates what people told him without fact-checking their statements. Without proper follow up the book relies heavily on the staining effect of innuendo. This is purely another hit piece created by a hateful anti-Trumper.

Wolff’s own editor says the author has a great talent for embellishing the truth and misstating the facts and making people believe him. Wolff had 13 people file complaints against him for misquoting them in a previous book.

In short, this author’s credibility is completely shot. How can anyone believe anything he writes in his book when he admits that many accounts he writes about “may or may not be true”?

In the meantime, someone I can truly believe and is accurate has written a book. Juanita Broaddrick who says Bill Clinton raped her in an  Arkansas hotel room some 40 years ago. The book is titled, “You’d Better Put Some Ice on That: How I Survived Being Raped by Bill Clinton.” It’s written by Juanita Broaddrick, who accused Clinton of raping her while he was the attorney general of Arkansas.

The alleged incident took place in 1978 in a hotel room.

The book description reads:

In 1999, Juanita Broaddrick burst into the public consciousness when she accused President Bill Clinton on national television of raping her in 1978 as he ran for governor in Arkansas. It was a TV appearance she dreaded and never wanted, but felt compelled to squash the rumors: it was rape. Now, with award-winning former investigative journalist Nick Lulli, she tells her story of survival; from the assault at the hands of the future president, to the veiled threats by a seemingly complicit presidential wannabe Hillary Rodham Clinton; Broaddrick believes now is the time to set the record straight and ensure victims everywhere are believed.

It’s a short read at about 90 pages, but based on its numerous five-star reviews, Broaddrick’s account has been well received and is No.1 on Kindle.

I have heard Juanita tell her story several times over the years and it never changes so that tells me she is telling the truth. She even breaks down in tears when telling it and rightly so as rape is nothing you just get over.

Bill abused them and Hilary destroyed them. What a team!!!

  1. Trash in…Trash out…

How can so many Americans be obsessed with this salacious tabloid trash rather than the “for real” issues threatening our Nation? While everyone is salivating over this crap their Congressmen and women are wheeling and dealing on ‘The” wall, chain migration, DACA and a budget that includes additional military spending……you know, ‘things’ that actually contribute to our security….The ‘left’ is out in full force and conservative representatives need your encouragement and ideas.

Both Bannon and Wolff are opportunist……do we need to help their book sales?

    • I agree with you Jan.I wasn’t writing this to push their books or this trash talking guy,but to make people aware of what a fake, phony fraud he is. Anything that attacks Trump these days people believe it. All of the media is so anti=Trump they aren’t writing about any of his 120 accomplishments so far. they are still in disbelief that they lost and they don’t have anything to offer so all they do is trash talk him,the country be damned. They don’t care. That is so sad too.

      • Rather figured that, Jim, knowing you. It was more of a ‘general’ comment.

Am still have AOL addresses undelivered. Know Verison bought them and all of my Verizon get theirs. ????
