James Comey Made a Strange Visit to New York Times Building on Thursday

When it comes to terms of sheer political intrigue Thursday was a heck of a day.

President Donald Trump ended the suspense when he said that he personally didn’t have recordings of former FBI Director James Comey.

The possibility that such recordings existed has been the topic of much controversy, uneasiness within the Deep State and media fodder for the now flogged to death Watergate comparisons.

While Trump said that he himself didn’t record Comey, he left the door open such surveillance of the White House was indeed a possibility.

Hours after the president’s announcement, guess who just happened to show up at the New York Times headquarters?

None other than James Comey himself.

The Daily Mail was quick on the draw in reporting Comey’s visit in the exclusive “James Comey visits The New York Times building as President Trump admits he did NOT record their conversations and questions what else ousted FBI director leaked to the press”:

Former FBI director James Comey made a quiet visit to The New York Times building on Thursday, one of few public outings since he admitted leaking stories to the newspaper about President Trump before the Senate Intelligence Committee on June 8.

Comey kept his sunglasses on and his gaze forward as he marched through the front entrance of the Eighth Avenue office building which houses the publication. He was accompanied by his wife Patrice Failor who also wore sunglasses.

Unmistakable as he towered over the crowds in a crisp navy suit and tie on one of the warmest days of the year, Comey drew second-glances from some stunned by-passers.

He spent almost three hours inside before emerging, having removed his sunglasses, to hail a cab.

A New York Times Company spokeswoman poured cold water on the visit, insisting Comey did not visit the paper’s newsroom.

While the suspiciously timed visit to one of the three prongs in the propaganda war against Trump began to circulate on conservative websites and social media, it wasn’t long before an official cover story emerged.

Comey was there for a charity function.

This according to Maggie Haberman, one of the top poison pens at the Times when it comes to churning out anti-Trump hit pieces.

But while the establishment is busily smearing any who questioned Comey’s presence in the Times building as conspiracy theorists, it should be noted exactly where the charity event was being held.

Heavyweight white shoe law firm Covington & Burling.

That would be the same Covington & Burling that is the employer of one Eric Holder, who just days ago came out and declared himself to be a new leader of the Resistance.

Coincidence or conspiracy? You be the judge.

Expect a huge new anti-Trump story from the New York Times sometime between Friday and Monday, based on the usual anonymous sources only this time one of them may not be so anonymous anymore.
