New York Times confirms that Kasich is most liberal Republican
Anyone even remotely paying attention to the Republican presidential nomination process already had Kasich pegged as a liberal Republican, but now the New York Times makes it official.
Gov. John Kasich of Ohio, though a distinct underdog, is the only plausible choice for Republicans tired of the extremism and inexperience on display in this race.
The article goes on to praise Gov. John Kasich for his $13 Billion expansion of medicaid in his state, path to citizenship for illegal aliens and more that are exactly why Kasich doesn’t stand a chance and is languishing in the polls. But Kasich is thrilled to have the Grey Lady behind his campaign:
Proud to have the support of the @nytimes – Together we can make America safer & stronger -John #Kasich4Us pic.twitter.com/VfVRAOst72

Reactions on twitter were heavy on the criticism:
@JohnKasich @blakehounshell @nytimes "wow, the NYT?!? That seals it, I'm voting for Kasich" – said no Republican ever

But a few did appreciate the Times opinion:
Though I feel the Bern,if I was a republican, I'd choose @JohnKasich . He's not a pretender, not insulting, and he's qualified @nytimes

@JohnKasich @nytimes as a lifelong #Democrat, I will say that you have 💥definitely💥 earned my respect.

Oh, and if there was any question, the New York Times also endorsed Hillary…
lord. NYT. BIG deal!
Actually, Frank, it is….he’s carrying the Republican banner and they have a regular love affair with this Administration . For those that are inclined to favor him it may throw cold water in their face and wake them up to the real Kasich and his acceptance of Obamacare, etc
