Does the Bible Condemn abortion? Nope! It doesn’t!

The Bible doesn’t condemn abortion or smoking or same-sex marriage or gay / lesbian lifestyles. Nor does it condemn smoking of marijuana or hashish or heroine or, or, or !!!!

Really people? When will you engage your brain?

I saw all kinds of people on the Left all of a sudden get so excited to see Pope Francis when, during the past years of their life, they couldn’t find him if you dropped them at the Vatican.

You see, when this Pope spoke about corruption in government and about how capitalism was bad, the Libs fell in love. After his many speeches, the only thing they got out of it was that we need to take care of the planet, open our borders, and that capitalism is bad (anything else he alluded to just fell away.)

The Conservatives openly made noise about the fact that the Pope was being too political and needed to stay on spiritual matters. What? The head of a spiritual body needs to stay with spiritual matters? The Libs called the Conservatives haters for not agreeing with the Pope. WOW! There’s a surprise. So we, yes, me, a Conservative Christian who doesn’t agree with the Pope on the issues of climate change and capitalism, must now be a hater.

BUT those of you who don’t agree with the Pope on abortion, are you also haters? And please don’t tell me he has said nothing on the abortion issue. You’d have to pay to be that ignorant. Just check Google to find his many speeches on the issue. So… does that make you haters?

Now let’s discuss this abortion thing. The Bible doesn’t use the word abortion. Many of the Left and those Liberal Christians are looking for an 18th Commandment or something that says “thou shalt not have an abortion.” Do you REALLY need a commandment that says “Thou shalt not walk onto a busy highway while looking down at your smart phone?” Maybe that whole “survival of the fittest” thing has some real merit!

  1. No, the Bible doesn’t use the word “abortion”, it uses the word “murder”. And it talks about the sin of pagans sacrificing their children to Moloch. Same thing.

    1. I hope you actually read the article so you can see the point I was tryng to make. REMEMBER there are Christians who don’t believe its a life so you cant vomit murder if its not a life…..

      1. I read the article. I understand the point you are trying to make. And any “Christian” who doesn’t think a baby in the womb isn’t a life at any stage of creation hasn’t read the Bible or refuses to believe God’s Word.

  2. Jeremiah 1:4-6 Then the word of the LORD came unto me saying, before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee… then I said I. Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a CHILD (caps for emphasis).

This establishes that God recognized Jeremiah as a child in the womb and not a fetus, ect…

Matthew 18:6 (Jesus speaking about children being the greatest in the kingdom of heaven) But whoso shall offend one these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

This establishes Gods wrath to those that harm children.

There are many passages in the Bible that establish Gods thoughts on gay and lesbian practice and I encourage readers to search them out.

That being said, individuals are not to judge the offenders we are to love them since we too have sinned, however God established governments to punish offenders and since our government has embraced these offences against God it shall suffer judgement (and those in the government that vote or enable these offences to occur.
