The Extreme Left Moves to Phase II Against Scott Walker

The Daily Kos and it’s sheeplings are at it again.  They are trying to get Gov. Scott Walker removed from office in a recall election because he removed public unions ability to fleece the taxpayers by raiding the treasury as Democrats give them lucrative contracts in return for election year favors. Gov. Walker protected his State’s taxpayers by saying that they can no longer get gifts from the State Congress. They can no longer hold the State taxpayer hostage. They will have to negotiate just like everyone else – and it has absolutely sent the liberals off the deep end. “Out in left field” is our page to share with you what the left is doing and how you can help fight back. Notice that in the email sent from the Daily Kos, the end it with “Thank you for uniting us as a progressive” .. umm,  I know there aren’t many of them, but sure thought there were more than one. First: the bad stuff…

What the Extreme Left is doing:

Last night in Wisconsin, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett won the Democratic nomination to take on Governor Scott Walker in the June 5 recall. Now our opportunity to defeat the Walker-Koch agenda is in sight.
Please contribute $5 to help Tom Barrett defeat Scott Walker.
Mayor Barrett is a strong standard-bearer for progressives in the recall. While representing Wisconsin in Congress, Mayor Barrett stood with me in voting against the deregulation that led to the Wall Street crash, opposing the PATRIOT Act, and reforming our system of campaign finance. His executive experience makes him qualified to begin rolling back Walker’s devastating program on day one.
Scott Walker relies on corporate bosses from coast to coast who have armed him with tens of millions of dollars. But if grassroots progressives unite around Tom Barrett, we can put an end to Walker’s harmful policies and slam the brakes on the national corporate agenda.
Please contribute $5 to Tom Barrett and unite to defeat Scott Walker.
Thank you for uniting as a progressive, Russ Feingold

Now the good stuff:

The War on Women: Faceless Casualties at the Frontlines of the Right-Wing’s Evil Crusade

By Vanessa M. Kyllove, embedded girlilla journalist with the Feminists for Freedom brigade, second battalion, reporting from America’s frontlines for Gender Neutrality Journal.

It has been a long, joyless 342 days since the hard right announced its crusade to eradicate womyn’s rights and to throw civilization back into the dark ages. The Wellsley college campanile sounded shrill in the frigid wintry air at ten a.m. – a harsh reminder of the places in the world where freedom does not ring.

Awakening in the hostile sunlight, I logged into my Facebook. Hysterical reports had flooded into my inbox of a Socon conspiracy to protest neonatal infanticide at Planned Parenthood headquarters at high noon. The revelation jolted me more than any mocha half-caf cappuccino. Here was a spur to action that instantly shook off the hangover of those strawberry wine coolers I drank last night. So I threw on my rainbow leg warmers and laced up my combat boots. Time to return to the grisly profession of war.

My blackberry was abuzz with nervous Tweets about the potential implications of ending late term abortions and infanticide. Would life go on as we know it? How would womyn cope with the knowledge that a lady could not whimsically spread her legs and then snuff out the unfortunate results of the tryst later? If we radical feminists gave the frothing-at-the-mouth “pro-life”sociopaths late-term abortions, or heaven forbid, neonatal infanticide, the next thing you know it’s the return of the malleus maleficarum and the Salem witch trials. Not on my watch.

Strolling out onto the campus courtyard, my sisters were already congregated and ready for action. I was the tallest of the group, and sensitive to the impressions of my sisters, I strove not to flaunt my lithe, lanky body and brown flaxen hair, which I kept tucked in a bun under my Che-style beret. My lengthy army green field jacket also guaranteed no wandering predatory masculine eyes could take in my feminine assets.

As I approached on the white paved walkway, I encountered a stocky girl of the athletic type dressed in a gray Wellsley sweatshirt and black stretch pants, taking in the cool mist of the evaporating dew and the warm scent of the radiant morning sun. It was Becky, my best gal pal. She was wielding a sign “Stay Out of My Womb!” while our nerdy, whip-smart friend Sandra, a diminutive red-haired girl of modest persuasion, had taken up the plight of the condomless with her custom T-shirt “Fluck You, Where’s Our Condoms?!”

We assembled at the pavilion with the Structural Feminist Society and countenanced our plan of attack. Social conservatives were not to be trifled with, having been raised on red meat and possibly harboring communicable diseases like rabies. We imagined the best tactic would be to yell as piercingly as we could, repeating the same chants over and over until we got our way.

“What about… racists, sexists, homophobes, leave those abortion docs alone?” Sandra meekly proffered to the group of seventeen college girls and the Gender Studies professor Ms. Shwarthely.

“What does that have to do with abortion and reproductive rights?” I asked, slightly confused.

“Yes, exactly,” Ms. Shwarthely muttered dryly, a wry smile creasing on her thin, pursed lips.

After forming en masse, we stridently took to the streets, armed only with our witty placards and a ray of hope. What we were fighting for was a more just world for all of us. And we would be damned if some redneck, teabagging socons were going to take away our right to partial birth abortion or neonatal infanticide.

The clack of heavy black Sketchers pounded on the pavement like an advancing army. Seventeen raucous warriors fighting for the cause of all adult womyn ready to do battle with our worst of enemies – the ignorant right-wing reactionary.

The Planned Parenthood office was a flurry of activity, as dozens of white, middle-aged, trailer park trash had gathered on the sidewalk, carrying Bibles and other mysogynistic hate literature. Horribly graphic pictures of healthy infants shocked and stirred us to engage.

“Sisters, let’s mobilize!” Ms. Shwarthely yelled through a bull-horn. The short-haired, bespectacled professor led the charge to the head of the protest group, a priest who was mumbling some Bible verses. She got right in his face.

“What do you think you’re doing here?” she bellowed in righteous fury. “Protesting abortion? Neonatal infanticide? What business of yours is this?”

“Why…” the idiotic preacher splurted out, “I just think it’s morally wrong…”

“Morally wrong?” Ms. Swarthely howled magnificently. “Why these…” she wrapped her hand against a placard bearing an image of a fetus “…are just blobs of protoplasm, inconsequential bits of matter, and it is up to we womyn to decide if they live or die!”

“But…” the bumbling fool struggled to make out, “Don’t you see that all life is precious?”

“Precious? Precious?!? How many children will starve to feed this drain on society that you would like to see the light of day? Womyn, enough! Time to chant!”

Our voices raised to the sky, we chanted in unison. Our hymn flooded over our enemies gloriously, more potently than any Christian choir. One suburban WASP female burst into tears because of our stirring chorus. I gave my friend Becky a high-five and took out my camera phone. My friends would not believe the ridiculous teabagging rednecks who dared to mess with our girl power.

An hour of our brigade, nicknamed “Task Force Vagina,” chanting “racist, bigot, homophobe” wore down our adversaries. At last, bittersweet victory. One of the hateful hillbillies yelled, “You are all going to hell!”- only proving they were a bunch of crazy hatemongers. Then finally, the coup de grâce.  The invariable “baby killer!” meme was uttered. I caught it all on my camera phone, which brought an irresistible grin to my face. But Sandra was visibly upset.

“Hey, lady!” she cried. “I don’t like being called names!”

This was unacceptable. One of my sisters had been emotionally wounded in combat. I folded up my cellphone and rushed to comfort my wounded comrade by putting my arm around her shoulder. Just then, a womyn showed up to enter the clinic, bravely making her way through the crowd of contorted faces. Meekly, shuffling her way through, she lifted her eyes only to parse the meaning of the confrontation. Her expression was grave.

Awkwardly, I smiled at the young black woman with a reassuring look on my face that communicated ‘just ignore the signs.’ The obviously lonely and afraid girl seemed to pluck up for a moment and then returned to her grim state after she walked by.

Why was this world so cruel? What good were all these protests if a womyn like her was forced to bear the curse of an unwanted child, and left no choice but to terminate it? If only the world were one collective, sharing all, no one would go without want, no one would go hungry, and no one would be shamed for the unavoidable results of free love…

“Hey, you!” a ferocious masculine shout snapped me back to attention. “Whores of Babylon!”

Back to the fray. Back to the cause of fighting for womyn everywhere.

Debt Ceiling Deal and Spin

Debt Ceiling Deal and Spin

The Debt Ceiling Deal

On August 2, 2011, President Barack Obama signed the Budget Control Act, hours after the Senate approved the bill. The bill will raise the debt ceiling by as much as $2.4 trillion. The bill does not cut spending – it will continue to increase, but will cut future spending increases. The bill will (hopefully) cut $900 billion of $7-8 trillion in projected deficit spending increases over the next 10 years. It also establishes a 12-member super-committee of Congress charged with finding an additional $1.5 trillion in savings. If that committee fails, the “trigger” that cuts $1.2 trillion ($600 billion from the military budget and domestic programs budget) is enacted.

Said President Obama of the bill, “a compromise to reduce the deficit and avert a default that would have devastated our economy.” The “devastation” Obama spoke of is a government that must operate on a balanced budget. Obama said after the Senate passes the bill that he didn’t really want the government to move toward a balanced budget. He said that it constituted “an important first step to insuring that as a nation we live within our means, yet it also allows us to keep making key investments in things like education and research that lead to new jobs and assures that we are not cutting too abruptly while the economy is still fragile.”

MSM Spin

Democrats will use their buddies in the MSM to portray the Republicans as evil. Republicans will be portrayed as uncooperative. The MSM says that a deal will be the ultimate measure of success, suggesting that the public can now expect harmony in our government, smooth and cooperative functioning to get things done.

Many major national newspapers are playing the same tune on Tuesday as they worry about how the spending “cuts” in the debt-ceiling deal will harm the economy. From the Washington Post, we learn that the deal will avert a financial crisis, but also threaten to aggravate the problems facing the U.S. economy, including high unemployment and weak demand. The deal will lift the cloud of uncertainty over the economy. The deal could help free the nation from what is becoming a crushing national debt. The deal could endanger the anemic economic recovery. From the Wall Street Journal, we learn that the deal will cause a mild drag on U.S. economic growth in the coming year, coming at a time when the recovery remains fragile. From the Los Angeles Times, The plan will be a tough sell if the economy stalls, because reduced government spending can further slow growth. “There is nothing in these new plans to generate strong growth,” says Nigel Gault, chief economist at IHS Global Insight. “In fact, they could weaken growth,” resulting in lower tax revenues and making the deficit worse.

Republicans’ Spin

The Republicans will mislead you by celebrating a victory. Months ago president Obama demanded a “clean” bill that would increase in the debt ceiling, meaning without any conditions that required spending cuts. But Republicans refused to budge. They will frame a debt-ceiling agreement as largely giving them what they wanted in a debt deal. Said Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Sunday on CBS’ Face The Nation (before the deal was finalized), “I don’t think we’ve been hurt at all. The American people wanted us to do something about out-of-control spending and … the debt ceiling is going to produce what many people would believe is a complete change in the trajectory of the federal government beginning to get spending under control.”

Said Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on ABC’s This Week, Republicans could declare victory given the fact that no new tax increases will be included in the deal. “From the Republican Party’s point of view, I think we can declare victory in a limited fashion. This is the first time in my lifetime that I know of that we’re paying for future debt increases dollar for dollar, and that would not have happened without the 2010 election.”

Democrats’ Spin

Senate Democratic Policy Committee Chairman Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) said Sunday on Face the Nation, “Democrats have shown throughout this debate a willingness to compromise. There are people on the left who would probably say ‘no cuts,’ but they haven’t been able to have their way within our caucuses, whereas this hard right group seems to get its way all the time.”

The White House is basing this deal on the premise that they will stand firm next time on the exact same economic and political points that they were not able to stand firm on this time. Said Sen. Kirsten E. Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) siding with liberals who focused on the cuts to programs and lack of additional tax revenue to soften the blow, “I do not believe this proposal is a fair, well thought out, or balanced deal for our fragile economy or the millions of middle-class families struggling to make ends meet.” Mrs. Gillibrand, explaining her “no” vote, complained that the deal was reached behind closed doors and that it “reduces the deficit mainly on the backs of middle class families that will see the impact of reduced federal spending.”

From The Daily Kos,

The debt deal announced today is a victory for bipartisan compromise, for the economy and for the American people. The agreement:

  • Removes the cloud of uncertainty over our economy at this critical time, by ensuring that no one will be able to use the threat of the nation’s first default now, or in only a few months, for political gain;
  • Locks in a down payment on significant deficit reduction, with savings from both domestic and Pentagon spending, and is designed to protect crucial investments like aid for college students;
  • Establishes a bipartisan process to seek a balanced approach to larger deficit reduction through entitlement and tax reform;
  • Deploys an enforcement mechanism that gives all sides an incentive to reach bipartisan compromise on historic deficit reduction, while protecting Social Security, Medicare beneficiaries and low-income programs;
  • Stays true to the President’s commitment to shared sacrifice by preventing the middle class, seniors and those who are most vulnerable from shouldering the burden of deficit reduction. The President did not agree to any entitlement reforms outside of the context of a bipartisan committee process where tax reform will be on the table and the President will insist on shared sacrifice from the most well-off and those with the most indefensible tax breaks.

So?

So, be aware of what the Debt Ceiling Deal is and that you are being spun. And the spin is going to continue for some time. And as Joseph C. Wilson, a former US diplomat best known for his 2002 trip to Niger to investigate allegations that Saddam Hussein was attempting to purchase yellowcake uranium, and husband of Valerie Plame, said, “The spin overwhelms the substance.”

But that’s just my opinion!.

Progressives Target Wisconsin Republican Randy Hopper with Smear Campaign

Apparently Mr. Bowers over at Daily Kos is on another misadventure. Unable to affect the outcome of the Scott Walker repair bill, Chris has decided to craft a  political ad that will run in Randy Hopper’s district in the hopes that it will end up in Mr. Hopper’s recall. I was forwarded this email from a reader:

Wisconsin Republicans say the state is too broke to pay for teachers, but they just gave the 26-year-old mistress of a union-busting Republican Senator a state job with a fat raise. It’s a classic Republican scandal filled with hypocrisy, cronyism, and their special version of “family values.”

Here’s the story. Last year, Wisconsin Republican state Senator Randy Hopper left his wife to live with a young Republican political operative. Last month, as Governor Scott Walker unveiled legislation calling for deep cuts in state workers’ salaries and collective bargaining rights, Hopper’s mistress was hired by the state on the advice of Scott Walker’s cabinet as a “communications liaison.” Further, her salary is 35% higher than her predecessor’s.

Randy Hopper is now facing recall. At Daily Kos, by using something called Google Surge, we can make sure that when anyone in Hopper’s district goes online for almost an entire week they will see an ad about the scandal.

It will cost us $12,128 for us to do this. Can you contribute $12 to Daily Kos help make it happen?

Randy Hopper is one of the most vulnerable Republicans facing recall. He is a freshman, and only won his seat by 163 votes. A poll conducted by Daily Kos and PPP shows Hopper losing to a generic Democrat 49%-44%.

You can see the ad we’re going to run on the right-hand side of this email. When it runs, it will link to a local Wisconsin news story verifying all the details. Since we are using Google Surge, any voter in Hopper’s district who goes online will see the ad multiple times.

With Randy Hopper already teetering on the brink of defeat, it’s hard to imagine how he could win a recall election after an ad campaign like this. Please, contribute $12 to Daily Kos and make sure every voter in Randy Hopper’s district knows about this scandal.

Keep fighting,
Chris Bowers
Campaign Director, Daily Kos

Daily Kos is a union puppet theater. The big-labor union bosses could not be more perturbed that duly elected representatives are tearing apart their incestuously-gained, impossible to support contracts. Progressives and Unions are co-dependent – without each other, they both whither away. These tactics are nothing new for progressives. Dig into someone’s private life, invent a bit if need-be, then smear. Don’t confront the issue, destroy the person. Saul Alinsky taught them well.

Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. – Saul Alinsky

Bust the Unions ? You Betcha!

Bust all public sector Unions and bar them from the taxpayer’s wallet, and do it today. It is time to put this circus to bed. Democracy does not include 10% of the population forcing their will on the majority of the people who pay their salaries. It is that simple.

PhotoStory1   <-  Click the link here to see some of the lovely misfits and nasty rhetoric on display courtesy of these Union’s example of the so-called civil discourse President Obama called for recently. The wonderful people of Wisconsin surely must be very embarrassed with this circus being shown across the country. To be fair, Unions only make up about 10% of the population today, but this kind of lunacy and ugliness should be denounced by everyone in Wisconsin and across America. Many readers here will be asking themselves why they do not see this nastiness and disrespect on the news today?  The news media seem content to paint the Unions as representing all of the working people in America today. That couldn’t be further from the truth and they know it, yet they still refuse to show the people the real types of  tactics and nastiness the Unions are using up in Wisconsin. That is why I took the time to create a little slice of truth up there in that slide show.

Today there have been hints of threatened violence to come in Wisconsin, if Governor Walker does not bend to their demands. One such threat contained the statement, “I’m proud to be here with people who understand that it’s more than just sending an email to get you going. Every once and awhile you need to get out on the streets and get a little bloody when necessary getting boots on the ground and getting bloody.”  The person who uttered that?  U. S.Congressman, Mike Capuano. (D-MA)   The nasty, thug-faced,  head of the AFL-CIO, Richard Trumka marched right into the fray to put in his two cents in trying to protect his lavish Union head lifestyle and bargaining power. Do not forget the massive Union Obamacare waivers Trumka’s thugs just received. That is right, Obama decided these same Unions will not have to live under the same healthcare laws as the rest of the working people. A total of over 2 million workers are now safe from Obamacare, thanks to those “special waivers.” Anyone who thinks the DNC and Obama in particular, doesn’t expect payback for those “special waivers” in the 2012 elections is either very naive, or just plain stupid.

This battle is not over worker’s rights, as the media would like you to believe. This is a battle over the DNC being allowed to control and influence elections through Union political activities and campaign funding. Without the Union graft and bribery, the DNC will be in even worse shape in 2012, than it was during the historic beating they received in 2010. The DNC is fighting for the life of it’s base elections engineering Brownshirt Union army. Without Unions taking member’s dues and using them to buy elections and pay get out the vote operations, the DNC can forget about “Winning The Future.” in 2012 and beyond.  Yes ,it is that simple. Obama didn’t sic his attack dogs from OFA, (Organizing for America) MoveOn.org, Think Progress, Media Matters and DailyKos on Governor Walker to protect the poor working folks up in Wisconsin. No Sir, this Community Organizer in Chief is trying to cover his own bet on winning another term in 2012. Obama has proven to be hugely incompetent in running this country, but if there is one thing he does know, it’s how to organize sheep to control and win elections through any means necessary. Why do you think he created the pathetically mis-named Organizing for America?

Scott Walker was elected to be the Governor of Wisconsin. His duties include a mandatory balancing of the budget. If Barack Husein Obama doesn’t approve of that, I will have to say,” I,m sorry Barry, but we won the elections, and elections have consequences.” It’s high time Obama starts acting a little more like a President instead of a low-life community organizer making a living blackmailing corporations, businesses, and now the blackmailing and bullying of States. Governor Walker is going to pass a balanced budget come hell or high water people. That is something Obama and the Democrats have proven to have no knowledge of today. When is the last time our federal government actually passed a budget, let alone a balanced one ? We rang up the debt all of last year without any semblance of a budget. 5 months into this year and again we have no budget, and with Democrats still in charge of the Senate getting one passed any time soon will be impossible. Of course, the Democrats, led by Obama, have proven that they do not mind running the country on illegal continuing resolutions. Those blank checks on the taxpayer’s account allow them to pile on another trillion and a half in debt with very little accountability. The honorable Scott Walker will not let that happen to the people of Wisconsin, Union thugs and obstructionist Democrats be damned.

Left Wingers to Finance Wisconsin 14 – CDN Fights Back

One of my readers forwarded an email to me asking if there was something Conservatives could do to counter a destructive move by the liberals.

Mr. Editor,

My Daughter is signed up on some left wing-extremist web site and sent this to me asking for money. She thinks that because I was in a union that I would support this mess. I was in a union because I had no choice. If I wanted that job, I had to pay union dues. Scott Walker is giving workers the individual right to elect to not have union dues come out of their paychecks and go to causes they don’t support. I wish there had been a Governor Walker in my working years.

Here’s the email, is there a way to counter this?

Over the weekend, I sent an email asking you to support the 14 Wisconsin Democratic Senators who left the state to prevent Republicans from passing a bill that strips workers of their collective bargaining rights. Now, I’m emailing to ask you again.

Please, donate $14 to the Wisconsin State Senate Democratic Committee, $1 for each of the heroic Senators.

There are 19 Republicans in the state Senate, but 20 Senators are needed for a quorum to pass the bill. If even one Democratic Senator returns to Wisconsin, s/he will be rounded up by the state police, brought to the state Capitol, and the bill will pass. If that happens, tens of thousands of workers will lose their rights.

Senate Republicans are pressuring the 14 Democrats by passing bills that require the presence of only 17 Senators. Further, groups funded by Wall Street are running television ads attacking the Dems.

The strain on these Democrats is immense. We must serve as a counterweight by providing tangible support. That’s why at Daily Kos we’ve added the Wisconsin State Senate Democratic Committee to the Orange to Blue 2012 page. The sole purpose of this committee is to support the Democratic nominee in each of Wisconsin’s 33 state Senate districts.

Please, donate $14 to the Wisconsin Senate Democrats, $1 for each of the heroic Democratic Senators. Your contribution will make an immediate, substantive impact on a huge political fight.

In solidarity,
Chris Bowers
Campaign Director, Daily Kos

YES! There is something we can do about it. It’s time to .. Give ’em Hell!! I haven’t received a response to phone calls and email to understand where exactly we should send the money, so I have included the emails and office addresses of every one of the grandest 19!

We can send $5 dollars to each of the Republican Senators. Spend $20 dollars of your own money and pick four Senators to send it to. Post a comment as to whom you supported so we support them all. As the founder and editor-in-chief of ConservativeDailyNews.com, I will personally contribute $40. First comment will show who I am sending money to. Will you join me?

Liberals Believe that Debt Limits = U.S. Default on Debt

It is no wonder we are so deep in dept.  The mind-set of those that voted in  the current Congress is that controlling the national debt would cause our country to default on it’s debt.

From the liberal-extremist blog, DailyKOS (I have to source that rag because they didn’t bother to tell us from whom they sourced this material:

“Seven members of the Senate Budget Committee threatened during a Tuesday hearing to withhold their support for critical legislation to raise the debt ceiling if the bill calling for the creation of a bipartisan fiscal reform commission were not attached.”

The DailyKOS goes on to comment that these fiscally-minded Senators are going to collapse the economy by being budget-hawks:

“Let’s see these five Democratic Senators explain to the entire nation why they allowed the country to default on its debt.  No matter how safe their seats appear to be, no Senator is going to win reelection after making the entire country default on its debt   Their rationale does not matter.  Being blamed for making the country default on its debt-especially after all five of these Democrats voted in favor of the Wall Street bailout and are demanding that Social Security and Medicare be cut-will be the effective end of their political careers.”

Refusing the lower the debt ceiling does not automatically put our country into default.  What it does is force Congress to cut spending to match the income it has coming in or they will go into default.  I would say that these Senators are finally putting limits on spending that should have been in-place for a very long time.  I would love to see Congress forced to cut programs to match what they take in.  I have to do that.. every single day.
