By now it should be quite clear that leftists love destroying things. Sometimes, this entails dismantling the core structures of our society, such as the nuclear family. We have all heard about how math, critical thinking, and reading are all extremely racist and bigoted, and thus they must be destroyed; however, sometimes this destruction takes on a more physical form. BLM and ANTIFA have coordinated many mostly peaceful terrorist attacks across the country since last May. These incidents certainly hurt a lot of innocent victims, such as David Dorn, but mostly these riots targeted other Left-Wing radical groups like the Minneapolis Police Department. Now in Canada they are also facing the problem of leftists destroying things however unlike in the US, the radicals are not targeting other leftists. The Canadian radicals have decided that the best place to start is with Canadian churches.
Here in the US, the excuse for vandalism was the death of George Floyd, the patron saint of meth, fentanyl, and armed robbery. In Canada, they also have an excuse, and to be fair, their excuse might actually be better. Many mass graves were found in Canada, and these graves held the remains of indians. The largest grave was just outside of the Kamloops Residential School. 215 children were buried in the grave outside the residential school, and some were identified to have been as young as three at the time of their death.
Residential schools were supposed to assimilate the natives into Western Culture. Some people find this in and of itself to be offensive, but assimilation tends to be a good thing. As we have seen in the US when the melting pot works well, cultural tensions lessen, but when Marxist groups divide us based on immutable characteristics, cultural tensions grow. The actual problem that most have with residential schools is that they were mostly poorly run institutions that did not assimilate the students attending them into Western culture, but rather they subjected the children to abuse and often even death.
It is extremely likely that there were atrocities committed in the school. Anytime there is a mass grave that contains the remains of three-year-olds, it is alarming. These evil incidents were used by the left as a justification for destroying their greatest enemy, the church. They say that it is because the Roman Catholic churche created and managed over 70% of the schools, but they are not just going after Catholics. Even if they were just going after Catholic churches, it would still be wrong to punish people alive today for the sins of their ancestors, but at least it would show some coherency in their logic.
Of course, because most leftist radicals have a brain equivalent to that of a one-year-old, they are incapable of coherent reasoning. This is why they have burned so many Canadian churches. According to a database maintained by Cosmin Dzsurdzsa published in True North, 57 churches have burned down or vandalized. The arsonists have tried to burn down Catholic churches, Anglican churches, Baptist churches, Orthodox churches, and other Canadian churches. This shows that the attacks are not about the mistreatment of indians a hundred years ago, it is about a deep hatred for the church and God himself.

It makes sense that the left hates Christianity so much for a few reasons. One of the main reasons that leftists hate us is that Christianity provides a moral compass. Leftists can’t have morality because that would require certain principles to be upheld, but principles are exactly what wokeism fights against. You shouldn’t love all people because of your principles and faith, you should hate whites because the mob says so. You should not treat all human life with value, but you should instead kill fetuses because they can’t fight back. You shouldn’t love thy neighbor who is a conservative because thy neighbor is literally Hitler, and the New York Times says that Hitler hates the Jews even more than the New York Times hates the Jews because Hitler does not love thy neighbor. The list goes on and on, but most of the left’s policy is based on reactionary emotions rather than actual moral ideas.
There are many other reasons as well. The church provides truth, but this stands opposed to delusions such as transgenderism. The church often stands for tradition, but progressivism is based on “dismantling systems of oppression.” God gives people hope and courage, but the left wants you to despair in your basement while hiding from the Covid 12 Pro Max, XS, XR and 3gs strain. Morality, truth, tradition, hope, and courage are all ideas that the leftist ideology stands adamantly opposed to and for this reason, the church will continue to be one of the primary targets of the left. Sometimes the state will shut down your church by force, sometimes radical leftists dwelling in their parents’ basement will cancel your church for a variety of frivolous reasons, and now 57 Canadian churches have been burnt to ashes or otherwise vandalized in the name of social justice.
