‘Are We Ready For This?’: Tucker Sits Down With Fmr Colonel To Talk About Whether The US Is ‘Going To War With Iran’
Tucker Carlson and retired Army Col. Douglas MacGregor questioned whether the United States was ready for a war with Iran and added that it was likely the U.S. will enter into a conflict with the country.
Carlson, a co-founder of the Daily Caller and Daily Caller News Foundation, aired a clip of Sen. Lindsey Graham defending his call to attack Iranian oil refineries as a response to either a Hezbollah attack on Israel or if hostages were harmed. Hamas launched a deadly attack on multiple locations in southern Israel Oct. 7 that killed at least 1,400 people and took over 200 hostages.

“Do you believe we are moving toward war with Iran?” Carlson asked MacGregor in the latest episode of “Tucker on X,” which posted “Looks like we’re actually going to war with Iran. Are we ready for this?”
“Yes, I do,” MacGregor said. “And it looks like the chosen destination is indeed Armageddon. There doesn’t seem to be any real implications for us, and frankly, for Europe and the world, as well as the Middle East.”
MacGregor warned against American involvement in any war, saying it would likely trigger a full-scale war with Russia.
“The bottom line is we must think this through, and everyone right now is emoting,” MacGregor said. “There is no thinking anywhere, as far as I can tell. The only possible exception maybe amazingly enough, Erdogan in Turkey.”
MacGregor said Erdogan offered to mediate between Turkey and Hamas.
“Are we in a strong position, or not?” Carlson asked.
“No, I don’t think we’re in a strong position,” MacGregor said. “I think we’re probably at the weakest point in our recent history.”
