“We owe a debt of gratitude to the Canadian truck drivers. Let’s all do whatever we can to help the freedom movement continue to gather steam!”—Ron Paul
The Freedom Convoy has reached its destination in Canada’s capitol city of Ottawa.
As recently reported, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau went into hiding a few days ago after calling the record-breaking convoy a “fringe minority” who don’t hold authorized views. Meanwhile, the mainstream media in Canada, and America, are running a smear campaign against truckers who are simply asking for freedom from the COVID-19 tyrants.
Before getting to those smears, the important part of the story is that truckers and other Canadians are uniting for freedom. They’re doing it with a smile as one trucker, Sheldon Andreas, told Tucker Carlson on Friday night.
“What really drove me to do this is the smiling faces that I’ve seen on the people that organized it,” Andreas said. He added that while the dictates over the last two years have divided the Canadian people, he is seeing the people unite once again for freedom.
Asked if he’s worried about retribution, Andreas said no. “We’re pushing forward, come what may,” Andreas, also a pastor, said. He noted that pastors have been arrested time and time again for holding church, and the pastors continue to defy tyranny unafraid because it’s the right thing to do.
The COVID World reported the convoy includes 72,000 truckers from western and eastern Canada as the truckers plan to remain on Parliament Hill until the mandates end. A projected 1.4 million people were expected to be in Ottawa over last weekend.
Videos have been captured with children saying, “thank you truckers for fighting for our freedom” and other protesters, with truck horns sounding, saying: “You said it was crucial to listen to the people. Listen to this Mr. Trudeau. Can you hear us now? Can you hear us now?”
Look at the sizes of the crowds captured in the images a videos and remember, this is Canada, eh. It’s a little bit colder up there. These crowds are out in subzero weather, braving the cold.
Meanwhile, the convoy is gaining support from politicians including member of parliament Maxime Bernier, the only Canadian politician who has opposed lockdowns and mandates throughout the last two years, Life Site News reported.
“Without freedom, you don’t have human dignity, and quality of life, and prosperity,” Bernier told the supporters in Ottawa. “We need to regain our freedoms as soon as possible.”
Rebel News reported that Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe has offered his full support for the convoy and has announced that “in the not-too-distant future,” he plans to end “vaccine” mandates as the shots are being proven ineffective.
Protests aren’t limited to Ottawa either. Rebel News has also been reporting on a blockade going on in the border towns of Sweetgrass, Montana and Coutts, Alberta.
On the other side, Chris Menahan reported for Information Liberation that Trudeau is not only in hiding, but he’s in an “undisclosed location.” That comes from a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the Canadian government’s mouthpiece, which reported: “Amid security concerns, Trudeau and his family have been moved from their home to an undisclosed location in the nation’s capital.”
Speaking of violence, Trudeau’s government shut off the Centennial Flame to take away a source of warmth. Still, Trudeau’s smearing continues as this fascist calls the truckers fascists.
Menahan wrote: “The only ‘fringe minority’ is Canada’s parasitic ruling elite.”
As for the media smears, Carlson pointed out one of them when speaking to Andreas showing a Washington Post cartoonist who labeled the convoy fascist. That’s right, freedom is fascism in this Orwellian world.
Zero Hedge reported that some media outlets are claiming the convoy is led by Russian actors.
None of these smears, lies and authoritarian moves appear to be stopping the spirit of freedom that’s emerging.
