The Most Important Election In Our Lifetime: Freedom vs.Socialism!

2020election-640x400

Joe Biden and the radical left want to abolish bail, abolish suburbs, abolish the second amendment, and abolish the American way of life. No one will be safe in Joe Biden’s America—Donald Trump tweet 7/16/2020

In a few short months the American people are going to have to make a decision that will be the most important decision of their lives. Do they want to live in a country whose government consists of freedom with low unemployment, low taxes and less regulation and more money in their paychecks that a Trump administration offers or do they want a government of slavery that is the slavery that is socialism with high taxes, more regulations and total government control in their lives that the Biden Administration will offer.

Young millennials mostly favor socialism and are misguided by the attraction of everything being free, free education, free housing, free Medicare for everyone, free hospitalization,  free everything and they fall for it.

Socialism is about as un-American as a political philosophy can get. A system that puts the government in control instead of the people, abolishes economic freedom, and replaces God with the State is wrong for a free, Christian country.

America was founded on freedom and the right of every individual to pursue their own dreams. Socialism, by contrast, makes everyone into a slave of the state.

Socialism’s goal — total equality of outcome — is impossible without entrusting the state with totalitarian powers to reshape society.

Socialist philosophy is atheist and anti-family at its core. According to socialist philosophers, basic social structures like the church and the family are oppressive and need to be abolished.

It’s not a surprise then that every example of a socialist society that has ever been tried has turned out to be a dismal failure. Millions died in Soviet Russia and Mao’s China because of socialism’s backward economics principles.

Everything about socialism is backward, and it ends up leaving citizens less free than they began. Socialism promises paradise on earth, but what actually happens is that a small bureaucratic elite takes control of the economy and oppresses the vast majority of the citizens, who become serfs to the government.

Under Biden, you will have Schumer and  Pelosi. They along with Biden have a collective 125 years of failed policies between them. Biden intends to have Alexandria Cortez as his energy secretary with her Green New Deal that calls for the end of gas oil and coal and even cows. She wants everyone to have electric cars, but how many people can afford them? How are you going to run all those homes and businesses without electricity, oil, or coal?  I guess they haven’t figured that out yet. Biden will have Bernie Sanders as an adviser and will put Beto O’Rourk in charge of gun confiscation.

Biden has now joined the Defund Police movement and called police the enemy of the people and need to replace them with something else. He didn’t say what.

“Biden has gone radical left,” said Trump as he discussed Joe Biden’s newest proposals. “There’s never been a time when two candidates were so different.”

And Trump is exactly right about that. Most races have candidates running for the center, but the political arena in 2020 has changed. Biden has charged further left than any Democrat presidential nominee before him

“Joe Biden and President Obama freely allowed China to pillage our factories, plunder our communities, and steal our most precious secrets. I’ve stopped it largely,” said Trump. He then said Biden’s political stances had been a
“gift to the Chinese Communist Party.

President Trump veered off-script Tuesday after announcing new legislation against China to attack presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden for his recent policy proposals – accusing Biden of aligning his campaign with Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other progressive leaders.

“Biden has gone radical left,” Trump said in the Rose Garden as he maligned the proposals laid out by the Biden campaign over the last week. “There’s never been a time when two candidates were so different.”

Trump’s comments come hours after Biden released a $2 trillion plan on Tuesday to boost investment in clean energy and stop all climate-damaging emissions from U.S. power plants by 2035.

For the last four years, Democrats have accused Trump of abandoning the global economy and threatening America’s standing in the world. They claimed that Trump’s America First policy was a “go it alone” one that would hurt the country.

In every instance, they were wrong.

The economy grew significantly for the three years leading up to COVID-19. America had one of the lowest unemployment numbers in decades, and incomes were on the rise. Trade was rebalancing, and the economy was robust.

Trump often emphasized he was not abandoning the world. However, he was looking out for America’s interests first, as every nation should. Unlike President Obama, he refused to apologize for America’s success. Instead, Trump reminded the country that when America does well, it raises the bar for the world and other countries do well.

Now presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden is attempting to hijack Donald Trump’s successful “America First” message that Democrats have blasted for four years. On Thursday, July 9, Biden said he wants to focus on “Buy American” and “Made in America.” Sound familiar?

Biden appears to support Trump in that America must take care of itself first and protect its own interests. However, he’s proven his ways of accomplishing that are very different than Trump’s and they just don’t work. Look for this to become a significant theme in the fall election.

In several ways, Biden’s policies are in complete alignment with Trump. The former VP wants to reduce the United States’ reliance on foreign governments, especially China. COVID-19 exposed how China takes advantage of the US. The Chinese communist party even intentionally withheld vital medical supply shipments to America as they sent them to other countries around the world.

Additionally, Biden is now arguing he wants to move manufacturing back to the country, which would require changes to trade agreements. Sound familiar? However, Biden can’t explain how he would reduce costs for manufacturers who find it less expensive to make things overseas and import them, especially since he’s proposing tax and regulatory increases on businesses.

Trump lowered taxes on business from 35% to 21%. Consequently, businesses returned from overseas to build and manufacture here. Trump lowered the small business tax from 21% to 15% so small businesses were flourishing. By Biden raising these taxes people will be laid off again and not get their jobs back like they are starting to do now.

Biden, like Trump, says he wants to unleash the economy and create strong economic growth. Yet, only one has successfully done it (yes, it’s Trump). Curiously, on the issues of taxes, regulations, and trade, Biden has the exact opposite strategies that Trump employs — the same ones Obama used that didn’t work.

Here are just a few contrasts where Biden says he embraces America First but means something different:

Taxes – Trump wants to continue reducing them to incentivize spending and economic expansion. Biden plans to raise taxes on businesses that would de-incentivize business expansion, hiring, and relocation.

Regulations – Businesses have long held that regulations and red tape were more expensive and impactful to their operations than taxes. Trump has been overhauling the regulatory nightmare since day one in office. In his first few months, he ordered that any agency that wanted to add a regulation must get rid of two. The result is over 8 were cut for every new one, saving over $220 billion. Throughout the fall of 2019, Biden argued in the Democratic primary that many of Trump’s deregulations had to be overturned. Obama forced 200 regulations on us. Trump got rid of 150 of them thus freeing up the American people and workers

Trade – President Trump removed America from the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TTP) that would have cost Americans jobs and hurt the economy. Biden has said he would revise the negotiations and implement TPP.

Biden appears to support Trump in that America must take care of itself first and protect its own interests. However, he’s proven his ways of accomplishing that are very different than Trump’s and they just don’t work. When Trump says America first it’s xenophobic, but if Biden says it then it’s Ok. Dem hypocrisy at its best.
