Jussie Smollett And The Obamas – Nothing More Need Be Said

Obamas and SmollettIs Jussie related to Hillary Clinton? Because they seem to share the same “Get Out of Jail Free” card.  Here is the picture of Smollett hanging with Obama. And you know what they say: “a picture’s worth a thousand words.”And this picture says Smollett had a few strings to pull!

Chicago PD is FURIOUS. They wasted precious resources chasing down a hoax. Now, they’ve dumped 61 pages of proof that Jussie Smollett belongs behind bars. Clearly, Chicago PD doesn’t care who Smollett’s friends are.

Fox News elaborates:

The police files – some of which were redacted to remove witness names and personal information – laid out steps taken by detectives to get to the bottom of what happened the night of Jan. 29.

The report revealed new details about the police obtaining a search warrant for Smollett’s iCloud account and then sharing the data with the FBI. The report also provided fresh details about the $3,500 check Smollett wrote to Abimbola “Abel” Osundairo and Olabinjo “Ola” Osundairo. The brothers claimed they were paid to carry out the attack on Smollett, though Smollett said the money was for personal training sessions.

Smollett told police he was attacked around 2 a.m. on his way home from a sandwich shop. He said two masked men shouted racial and anti-gay slurs, poured bleach on him, beat him and tied a rope around his neck. He claimed they shouted, “This is MAGA country” — a reference to President Trump’s “Make America Great Again” campaign slogan.

The news of such heinous allegations quickly garnered national attention.

Soon, though, the tides shifted and investigators accused Smollett of making the whole thing up because he was unhappy with his pay on “Empire” and believed the publicity garnered from the incident would promote his career.

Wednesday’s released report shed light on some of the behind-the-scenes moves investigators and prosecutors made to interview witnesses and throw off reporters.

In fact, when the Grand Jury indicted Smollett on a whopping 16 charges related to his staged attack, it seemed someone recognized the gravity of Smollett’s crimes. And they were willing to make him pay. He was facing up to 48 years in prison and fines totaling $400,000. Of course, that’s nothing for a Hollywood A-Lister.

Kevin Jackson writing in his website The Black Sphere said “ Instead of just forfeiting his bond, I think Smollett should pay restitution for every MAGA hat-wearing American who took the slightest bit of heat following Smollett’s “attack.” At least that kind of consequence would hit Smollett where it hurts. Instead, it seems a few phone calls got Smollett off the hook, for now. Apparently, Smollett has ties to Obama.”

According to Fox News:

Tina Tchen, the attorney and former chief of staff to first lady Michelle Obama, has garnered scrutiny after messages traded with Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx— about the alleged hoax linked to actor Jussie Smollett — emerged shortly before prosecutors dropped all charges against Smollett on Tuesday.

Tchen started practicing law in 1983, after she graduated from Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law, and currently leads the Chicago branch of Buckley LLC. In between, she worked in the Obama White House, first as the director of the Office of Public Engagement and later as the first lady’s chief of staff.

Tchen is also a childhood friend of Chicago first lady Amy Rule. The two grew up together in Beachwood, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland.

Smollett’s lawyer admitted that brothers Abel and Ola Osundairo were the ones who attacked Smollett. But gave no explanation as to why they did it. Charges will be dropped against the Osundairo brothers. And know their bank accounts got quite a bit fatter, based on the notion they follow the gag order.

What a farce? Does anybody think a Conservative could get away with such a waste of police time and taxpayer money?

Chicago police are furious, as the Daily Mail notes:

Police chiefs, who eviscerated the star when arresting him last month, are ‘furious’ about the decision and say they were not consulted.

They have called for an Attorney General probe into how State’s Attorney Kim Foxx was exchanging text messages with a member of the Smollett family in the days after the attack, trying to get the investigation taken over by the FBI at their request.

Los Angeles based criminal attorney Alaleh Kamran explained that Smollett may still face civil repercussions for allegedly filing a false police report.

“At this point, all that’s happened is the state is telling us they’re not going to prosecute him on criminal charges, but that doesn’t mean there can’t be civil lawsuits going both ways. Jussie can sue the complaining witnesses, the complaining witnesses can sue him,” Kamran told People on Tuesday. “I’m sure there will be lawsuits because there’s damages. Jussie’s career has been destroyed, his name and reputation has been dragged through the mud, I would be surprised if he does not pull some kind of civil action to, at the minimum, clear his name.”

Smollett also may still face federal charges of mail fraud, as the FBI is investigating whether or not he also sent himself hate mail laced with white powder a week before the alleged attack occurred. If convicted, Smollett could face up to a decade in prison. Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel is also considering suing the actor to recoup some of the money the city wasted on the lengthy investigation, according to reports so Jussie isn’t completely off the hook yet.

Jussie didn’t think all this would happen. He apparently thought he would make this fake accusation and pay two brothers to pull it off would garner him the attention he needed and throw negativity on Trump supporters. Instead, the whole situation got out of control with so many holes in it.

It’s preposterous to say he paid the brothers for training when there is video of them in the hardware store buying the rope and other supplies that were needed for the attack. Both brothers admitted they rehearsed for the attack. There is film of them leaving the attack, but nothing of them before or during the attack which is funny in itself since cameras were recording all the time there.

A person who lives in the same apartment complex as Jussie said that the neighborhood is all black and gay people and why would two white Trump supporters wearing MAGA hats be walking in that neighborhood at 2 a.m.in the morning when it was below zero degrees looking for a black gay person to beat up? Jussie’s phone records showed he spoke with the brothers before the attack and after the attack. No wonder he was reluctant to give up his phone to the police. The night security guard said Jussie walked in the apartment with the rope around his neck and his sandwich still wrapped. He supposedly kept the rope around his neck for 45 minutes while he phoned his agent and police arrived. Maybe he wanted to do that to show proof of what happened.

Of course, soon after the files debuted on the internet, a judge issued a gag order in the case. Smollett’s case is unique in that both conservatives and liberals agree the behavior was more than abominable. Still, many leftists thought this could be swept under the rug. And they were nothing short of surprised when dropping the charges ignited sheer outrage all around.

I’m sure Obama’s people are already looking for ways to frame Chicago PD as the masterminds behind all of this.

Yes Jussie pulled a big stunt he thought he’d get away with and it backfired, but I  guess it pays to have friends in liberal places.
