Recently Joy Reid on MSNBC and her guest Elie Mystal spent a segment fantasizing about Ivanka Trump being in the “crosshairs” and openly scheming about how the best way to “get” President Donald Trump would be to go after his children.
“This is the first time that we have Ivanka . . . in the crosshairs . . . The only way we’re really going to get to Trump is if you go after his kids . . . And this [going after Ivanka] could be the way to do it,” Mystal opined with Reid’s full agreement..
Mystal believes that the First Daughter could be in trouble over the price of rooms at Trump International Hotel for inaugural committee members.
ELIE MYSTAL: Do you remember in ‘The Firm,’ how Tom Cruise brings down the entire mob on overbilling? In these reports, what we have is Ivanka Trump, as part of the Trump organization, overbilling the inaugural committee. That could be it right there. What we now have — this is the first time — look, we’ve talked a lot about Don Jr., we know now he was at the Trump Tower meeting, we talked a lot about Eric, because he seems to be Fredo.
This is the first time that we have Ivanka—which is like the only kid he likes—in the crosshairs. She apparently, according to these reports, was involved with overcharging the inaugural committee, and somebody had to tell her: this is going to look bad when we get audited. For a long time I thought that the only way we are really going to get to Trump is if you go after his kids. If you put the kids in legal peril, that’s the only thing that’s going to shock him out of his lying, deceitful, cocoon. And this could be the way to do it.

JOY REID: There is this finding that people — we’re going to talk about this later in the show — that you can’t indict a sitting President. But it doesn’t say anything about a sitting President’s daughter.
Even Chris (Thrill up my leg over Obama)Mathews got in on the act saying that President Donald Trump could resign as part of a deal with special counsel Robert Mueller. Matthews said Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump could be the “next dominoes to fall” in the investigation and could face prosecution and possible prison time.
Then, he speculated: “But what if the prosecutor were to offer the president an alternative. What if he were to say he would let the children walk if the old man does the same? That would mean giving up the presidency in exchange for acquittals all around ― not just for himself, but for all his kids.”
These people are so vile and sick and filled with hate and rage and Trump Derangement Syndrome like never has been seen before with any president. They truly are the enemy of the people. Imagine conservative talking heads, gleefully talking about going after Chelsea Clinton to get the Clintons. It is all projection with these people. They say he doesn’t like his other kids, they make stuff up. The first year it was Melania now it is Ivanka. They are all mentally deranged and want to take the whole country down with them.
Trump is doing more than any other president regarding this country. He’s running the country like a business, like people have been saying they want for decades now, on how he got so successful and wants people to be successful like him. That’s why he’s lowered taxes and put more money in people’s pockets and doubled the tax deductions for us. He got North Korea to stop sending missiles over Japan and Guam in preparation for an attack on us with China. He got 300 billion dollars in trade deals with China, he’s got the best economy in our lifetime and everyone doing better. Unemployment is the lowest it’s been in decades, more people are working than ever before, he got four million people off welfare and food stamps and are now working he got rid of 800 of Obama’s 1200 regulations that were like shackles on us and were killing jobs, he also lowered taxes on everyone so more people have more money in their paychecks. He got the Keystone pipeline that liberals once protested against under constriction thus creating 43,000 new jobs and we now are the third largest producer and exporter of oil in the world. He also approved drilling in Anwar that liberals once protested and many other positive things for the country and all these people can fantasize about is going after his kids to get rid of him. The country be damned all because they lost an election and it didn’t go their way and are out of power.
Since it’s open season for the children of politicians let’s look at their side. Hunter Biden is doing dirty deals worth billions in China, Chelsea illegally funneled hundreds of millions into the Clinton Foundation, Obama’s daughters do coke, ecstasy, and mushrooms every weekend, and Nancy Pelosi’s daughter probably has some bodies in the trunk of her gold-plated Tesla. Let’s show them that two can play this game.
