President Trump to hold MAGA rally in Kentucky Saturday
President Donald Trump will hold a Make America Great Again rally in Richmond, Kentucky Saturday evening in support of Republican incumbent House member Andy Barr who is in a tight race with his Democratic party challenger, Amy McGrath.
Barr holds a slim 1-point advantage in the most recent poll in a district that went for Trump by more than 15 points in 2016. The poll was taken before Democrats launched a morally-bankrupt character assassination attempt against now-Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Last week, Joe Biden campaigned with McGrath pitting his influence against that of the President. Biden’s appearance was held at the Bath Country High School while Trump is taking over the Alumni Coliseum on the Eastern Kentucky University campus. The alumni coliseum is rated to hold up to 8,000 people, and the High School auditorium tops out at 2,500, according to Owingsville Police Chief Todd Tout.
McGrath wants to “fix” Obamacare instead of repealing. She has not outlined what those fixes would be, but on her own website she said, “if we were to build a health care system from scratch, single-payer would be the way to go.” Which gives voters some guidance.
The president’s appearance could be just what Barr needs to hold on to his seat in the November mid-term election.
Tickets are still available HERE.
