Trump’s Non-Payment of Taxes Is Perfectly Legal!!!
The anti- Trump media has been salivating over having Donald Trump release his taxes. Personally I don’t really care and now the N.Y. Times has illegally received a copy of his taxes and they claim he hasn’t paid taxes for 18 years. Sorry to burst your bubble guys, but what Donald did was legit in every way. Nice try anti-Trumpsters, but you failed again. The truth will out every time.
Donald Trump declared a more than $900 million loss on his 1995 income tax returns after suffering seriously large losses from his business failures in Atlantic City and elsewhere, according to a report from The New York Times. The paper states the loss was so great, he could have avoided paying any federal income tax for the next 18 years.
The paper states that the $916 million loss was a result of “the financial wreckage he left behind in the early 1990s through mismanagement of three Atlantic City casinos, his ill-fated foray into the airline business and his ill-timed purchase of the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan.”
The paper indicates that Trump declared a $916 million loss – enough to offset $50 million in taxable income for the next 18 years.
The Times states that they received a separate letter from a Trump associate raising the possibility of legal action since the paper was not authorized to have received the returns.
Two weeks ago, one of his sons, Donald Trump Jr., told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review that his father wouldn’t release his taxes because it would be a distraction.
“Because he’s got a 12,000-page tax return that would create … financial auditors out of every person in the country asking questions that would detract from (his father’s) main message,” the paper said.
This is a non-issue. He’s fully allowed under IRS rules to claim loses and carry them over. I myself had a loss with some stock investments and didn’t have to pay any tax on them at the time. It’s all within the law and Trump did nothing wrong here. When Hilary accused him of not paying any taxes during the debate he said, “That’s because I’m smart.” He was so right. You don’t get to where he is by being stupid. He’s a very smart man. Donald Trump May Have Skipped Paying Taxes For 18 Years After $916M NJ, NY Bus
“The only news here is that the more than 20-year-old alleged tax document was illegally obtained, a further demonstration that the New York Times, like establishment media in general, is an extension of the Clinton Campaign, the Democratic Party and their global special interests,” a campaign statement said in response.
New York Times executive editor Dean Baquet, while on a panel discussion at Harvard in September said he would risk jail to publish Trump’s tax returns. It is unknown whether he had the newly published documents in his possession at the time.
By federal law, it is illegal to publish an unauthorized tax return:
“It shall be unlawful for any person to whom any return or return information (as defined in section 6103(b)) is disclosed in a manner unauthorized by this title thereafter willfully to print or publish in any manner not provided by law any such return or return information. Any violation of this paragraph shall be a felony punishable by a fine in any amount not exceeding $5,000, or imprisonment of not more than 5 years, or both, together with the costs of prosecution.” October surprise: Trump tax docs ‘illegally obtained,’ published
Rudy Giuliani, former New York mayor, said Trump “had some failures and then he built an empire,” calling the businessman “a genius at how to take advantage of legal remedies that can help your company survive and grow.” He added: “This man is audited every year. Never once has had a criminal charge brought against him. He operates — he understands the law. He operates within it and he understands on the other side how he can get sued.”Giuliani: Trump’s Tax Actions Show His ‘Genius’
Speaking on “Reliable Sources,” News Busters executive editor Tim Graham attacked the story as partisan spin and a Trump take-down.
“This paper has all the restraint of a pack of flesh-eating zombies,” Graham said.
Meanwhile Hillary continues to take millions upon millions of illegally laundered money for her Clinton Foundation from countries like Saudi Arabia that kills gays and lesbians, persecutes Christians and Jews and represses women under Sharia law, but that’s Ok with the liberal mainstream media who has their heads so far up her rear end they can’t see daylight.
Hillary and the media are following Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals (whom she met personally and studied) to the ‘T’. One rule is to “blame your indiscretions on your opponent only make them bigger” which she is doing. Another rule is “Find a target, isolate it and destroy it” which is also what they are doing. What’s good is becoming bad and what’s bad is becoming good. Be careful what you wish for you anti-Trump people because you just might get it and it will come to bite you in the end.
I was supporting Mr. Trump. I completely understand that Mr. Trump not paying taxes is perfectly legal, but that’s a lot of money to lose. I would like to know how that much money can be lost in only one year. Yes, it’s smart to use tax laws to your benefit, but doesn’t losing that much indicate a management problem? In the corporations I have worked, the CEO would be let go after great loss of almost 1 billion. Can you site other corporations that have lost as much (or more in one year) and CEO has been trusted and left in charge? I think this could help Mr. Trump. I also do not understand how something like not having the proper state paperwork for his foundation is possible. How can you explain these missteps with facts, rather than the conspiracy theory or how it was revealed is illegal. If I am going to continue to support Mr. Trump, I need more facts.
