It’s Old Black Men, Not Old White Men That Are The Problem
We have all heard the Liberal talking points, that the Republican Party is filled with old white men and they are all racist, homophobe, women hating bigots. Time and time again, we have heard the cry that all Tea Party members are nothing but Confederate Flag waving racists, while they praise the Occupy Wall Street protesters. Let’s see, Occupy Wall Street, the same people who when protesting, destroy public and private property, who rape women, who use drugs, who rob people, who defecate on police cars and in public, who prevent people from going to work and who get scores of arrests at every protest. Compared with the Tea Party who gather peacefully and then leave the place cleaner than they found it.
Well I got news for all of you Liberals out there, it is not the old white men that are the racists, it is the old black men. A Mississippi Democratic Congressman,Bennie Thompson recently said that Clarence Thomas is an “Uncle Tom,” Mitch McConnell is a “racist,” and that Republicans are only anti-big government and anti-Obama-Care because President Obama is black. He also went on to say, “I’ve been in Washington. I saw three presidents now. I never saw George Bush treated like this. I never saw Bill Clinton treated like this with such disrespect.” Has this clown been asleep, or did he just turn a blind eye during those years? President Bush was called a loser, a killer, he was portrayed as Hitler in pictures and yes, he was even called a racist, but I am sure Thompson was at the head of the line, so I guess he gets a pass.
A survey has found that more Americans see black people as racist than white people or even Hispanics. Thirty seven percent of American adults spoken to by respected pollster Rasmussen, think that African American citizens hold racist views, as opposed to just 15 percent of white Americans. Even with black adults the survey spoke to, 31 percent said they considered people of their own race to be racist while only 24-percent thought that white people were bigoted. In general, only 30 percent of all Americans believe race relations in the United States are good or excellent.
It’s funny, I have been saying that for years and have been called a racist because of it, at least I now know that I am not alone. There are blacks like Louis Farrakhan, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and even our own Attorney General, Eric Holder who think we are still in 1950 Mississippi, and let us not forget Democratic Congressman,Bennie Thompson and a slew of other black congressman and congresswomen who believe that as well.
There is a growing divide in this country and it is not because of old white men, Obama came into office saying he was going to unite this country, but instead he drove the biggest wedge I have ever seen right through the heart of the country and the Democratic party followed his lead. I have never, in my lifetime seen this country more divided, and I grew up in the turbulent sixties. There are many black leaders, who feel they have to fan the flames of racism in order to be relevant, these are the true racists in our country.
There is a growing resentment in this country by the white community, and how can you blame them. When a black person is killed by a group of whites, there is a national uproar and the Liberal press bangs the drum for weeks. When a group of blacks kill a white person, you might find the story on page 19 of the newspaper and the media doesn’t mention it at all.
I hear all the time that the white man is to blame for slavery in this country. To them I say this, slavery ended 150 years ago, and anyone who had a hand in it is dead and buried, but wasn’t it the white man who fought and died to free the slaves and wasn’t it blacks themselves, who sold their own people into slavery? There is a growing divide in this country, but old white men are not perpetuating it, it is the old black men who are to blame.

This is one man’s opinion.
Congrats for ‘tackling’ an issue that is, according to some, touchy and a political no no….it needs to be discussed to show and educate that ‘racist’ is NOT limited to a single race and the coin has a flip side…To continue to use ‘the word’ is to continue divisions among all citizens…Our youth can only learn what they are taught….do we truly want to teach hate? For now it appears that way Mm & Dad have a huge job offsetting all the garbage polluting the air around the kiddos. It’s probably true that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks…nor men, black or otherwise….I suspect that the Jacksons, Sharptons could be bought but don’t of a cure for closed minds.
Hey, Where has every one gone? It’s starting to resemble a ‘private conversation’that Derrell drops in on…Maybe we should just meet at the bistro & have a glass of grape nectar…
Thanks Jan, You know me, I am never PC, I say what I feel. And I don’t know about that glass of grape nectar, I am a Scotch man myself.
Single Malt only, Glenlivet
Ah so…different views, yet shared objective…there’s a lesson here….besides, even you are entitled to be wrong…(chuckle chuckle)
