Herman Cain Explains "Smoking Man" Video
You might have recently seen Herman Cain’s campaign ad that features a middle-aged white guy smoking a cigarette while telling you that “America’s never had a candidate like Herman Cain before.” You may have seen the ad, but you may not have understood it. Well, Cain went on Hannity tonight to explain the ad, and…. I still don’t understand it.
What about you? Do you understand it? Let us know in the comments below. Most of us at CDN are still confused…

I think the point of the explanation is more of WHY they kept that part in the ad. That it was just Mark being Mark.
I didn’t like the ad at first, but the more I see it, the more I like it.
Mr. Cain, your getting a lot of attention over this one…LOL I think it is pretty funny myself but we do have a lot of hypocritical prudes in our country who will do their best to cut you down for this, but don’t let it get you down, just use it to your advantage. There are millions of smokers, including myself, and we all know it isn’t the healthiest thing to do but there are a lot of things we do that are not healthy. You just probably won over the construction workers, the miners, truck drivers, cowboys, and all the rest of the hard working men and women in this country. There are also the closet-smokers, and the elite that smoke when no one is looking. Even President Obama smokes, and has done drugs, so what’s the big deal !!! Guess its because your just a genuine all American Republican guy who was a CEO and not a politician with a lot of spirit and drive for the betterment of our country.
Keep up the good fight and give it all you have, cause I am counting on you.
God Bless you
I like the smoking guy in the ad- its a perfect media tweak. I’d say it worked….look at all the talk that has happened because of it.
I actually liked the ad. I thought it was sly and definately not PC. Seems to me that the timing was ideal. Perry does his major economic speech but the Cain ad was all the pundits wanted to talk about. Genius!
I wish Herman had talked about his abortion comments by saying,’I am against abortion. I believe it is destroying our future, and does not honor God given life. However it is tolerated by the laws of our society and its time for people of faith to focus on changing hearts and minds not changing the law. When the heart of the nation changes the law will change. The same is true of issues involving homosexual rights. Meantime i want to be president of all the people and I have faith in each individual American to make choices in their own lives within the boundries of their faith and conscience.’ I believe that would strike a cord with voters who are weary of government nannies and the righteous finger- waggers.
