White House Tells Lies (Repeatedly) To Win

The White House re-election campaign has denied any knowledge of an abhorrent, misleading Super PAC ad that wrongly blames GOP challenger Mitt Romney for the death of a steelworker’s wife from cancer.

Campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki responded by saying: “We have nothing, no involvement, with any ads that are done by Priorities USA.  We don’t have any knowledge of the story of the family.”  Deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter stated: “I don’t know the facts about when Mr. Soptic’s wife got sick, or the facts about his health insurance.”

The problem for the Oval Office and its hope for re-election is; Soptic told the story on May 14, 2012, in a conference call hosted by the Obama campaign.

This is from someone who condemned PAC attack ads running in favor of John Edwards during the 2008 campaign.  This is from a candidate who attacks Super PACs that are on Romney’s side, but never utters one peep about the PACs that are aligned with him, launching slanderous attacks against Romney on his behalf.

Apparently for “progressives”, civility remains a one way street.

Evidence shows how the White House’s assertion that political appointees were not involved in Energy Department loan decisions is a flat out lie.

Documents and sources knowledgeable of the situation show that disagreement between administration officials over approval of a $1.4 billion loan to another project was resolved by then-White House Chief of Staff Bill Daley.

Last summer the Oval Office occupier was briefed personally about a federal loan program aimed at helping clean-energy companies.   The briefing took place a mere two months before failure of the solar company Solyndra.  Solyndra was trumpeted by the White House as the poster child for solar power success in America.

It is easy to understand why Romney and his supporters justifiably lament the cheap, two-bit, Chicago thug style, dirty, lying, lowlife, bottoms scraping, scumbag, “progressive”, Alinsky tactics being used daily by the current White House occupant’s re-election campaign.  But to remain stuck in lament or defense mode plays right into their hands.

The best option is to stick to the truth and use the abundant available evidence to successfully portray the current administration and its “progressive” political allies for what they are.  So incredibly inept at governing that their own failed leadership and flagrant incompetence has forced them to lie, cheat and resort to character assassination in order to misrepresent themselves and their opponent.

Then paint the portrait of a viable alternative to failure: A proven leader who has achieved the American dream through pursuit of happiness.

Follow that with a series of questions.

Who would you rather have leading the United States of America; someone so inexperienced, inept and incompetent that Americans are resorting to Welfare, Disability and Food Stamps for survival?  Someone who must resort to blatantly dishonest tactics in an attempt to salvage their own failed, sagging political career?

Or would you rather have America led by a competent, successful and experienced businessman of good moral character who has plans to revitalize the American private sector economy and put Americans back to work?

America deserves better than having an inexperienced, incompetent, inept liar as President of the United States.

You deserve better.

Ellison’s Money Problems

Keith Ellison out of state money

Representative Keith Ellison has a problem (or 2) with money in politics.

In a recent op-ed for the Huffington Post, the co-chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus blames “big money” (aka: corporations and super PACs) for Republican Governor Scott Walker’s recall win in Wisconsin. He announced plans to introduce a constitutional amendment to overturn the Supreme Court ruling on Citizens United which he claims allows for unfair election funding practices.

“In a state of only six million people, $60 million was poured into the race, $50 million of which went to Governor Walker. And almost half of that was spent by outside groups — most of them not based in the state of Wisconsin,” says Ellison in his op-ed.

Back in Minnesota though, Representative Ellison is raising “big money” for his own congressional campaign and it’s not all from individual citizens of Minnesota’s Fifth District.

According to a recent fundraising letter sent by Ellison’s competitor, retired marine Chris Fields, Ellison has raised and spent over one million dollars thus far on the 2012 election, with more than 80% of donations coming from outside Ellison’s district.  FEC reports show large numbers of donors from California, New York and Washington, DC.

Ellison holds a 20 to 1 fundraising advantage over his competitor due in large part to the hundreds of thousands of dollars raised by Political Action Committees, some funded by the very “special interests” Ellison is pushing to silence with his amendment.

His own fundraising efforts seem to be in direct contradiction to his political rhetoric.

“The Wisconsin election shows that we will not have a government of, by and for the people as long as we have politicians who are bought and paid for by special interests,” says Ellison.

Using this rationale, are we to assume that Representative Ellison is beholden to his own special interest donations?

Big Money Politics, Unions, and the Billionaires Club

The GOP presidential candidates are doggedly pursuing the chance to take on incumbent Democrat Barack Hussein Obama. Some candidates are running grassroots campaigns that rely on small campaign donations from millions of everyday working folks while others are supported by the billionaire’s club.

With the creation of all-powerful super-PACS, ( political action committees)  direct campaign donations are limited to $5000.00 for each individual, but the billionaires club can donate unlimited funds to super-PACS. The term “buying elections” comes to mind.

Democrats recently brought about a huge court battle to try to put limits on campaign contributions which has been skewed in today’s media as meaning Republicans are somehow all of a sudden allowed to buy elections with dubious support from the billionaires clubs around the world.

In the 2004 elections, billionaire currency manipulator,  George Soros did indeed try to buy the U.S. Presidency for one Democrat John Kerry by pumping a whopping $24 million dollars into his 2004 presidential campaign.

Soros has since made massive donations to leftist propaganda websites such as Media Matters, Huffington Post, Center for American Progress etc.  as he was certainly a very angry man when Kerry lost to G.W. Bush in 04.

Unions have also been attempting to buy elections with members hard-earned dues. Millions of dollars in big-labor donations went to Democrats in the 2010 med-term elections . In a New York Times article, big-labor unions, not big business are illustrated to be the “biggest spender of all” when it comes to elections:

Just when we’d been told the Chamber of Commerce had bought the election, along comes the American Federation of State, Country and Municipal Employees to pour nearly $90 million into the campaign.

According to The Wall Street Journal, this makes the public-sector union the biggest spender of all the outside groups. The National Education Association and the Service Employees International Union rank among the top five. Collectively, these three unions representing millions of public workers — only the SEIU is majority private — are devoting an estimated $170 million to an election Democrats insist that they are losing because of the nefarious influence of outside money.  (emphasis mine)

The 2012 Presidential campaign funding discussion has been dominated by Barack Obama’s handlers bragging that their fundraising goals will approach a record one billion dollars for Barack to buy another four more years of hope and change Socialist transformation of America. Considering the record amount of largely taxpayer-funded campaign fundraisers Obama has been touring on recently, that amount certainly seems within reach. But just who is leading in campaign donations from the uber-rich billionaires club (election buyers inc.) so far?

As 2011 comes to a close, that distinction belongs to the former Governor of Massachusetts and GOP establishment favorite, Mr. Mitt Romney.

Romney’s richest donor so far is hedge-fund titan John Paulson, who is worth an estimated $16 billion, according to Forbes. Paulson has given $1 million to the Restore Our Future super PAC, which former Romney aides set up to support his candidacy. Mr Paulson was also involved in the taxpayer rip-off now known as the One West bank swindle, as documented here.

Romney has drawn the most support from billionaires, with at least 42 donating to his campaign. Obama is not far behind, with at least 30 billionaire supporters. Rick Perry and Jon Huntsman Jr. follow with 20 and 12, respectively, according to donor rolls and the current Forbes magazine list of 412 American billionaires.

The omission of Newt Gingrich from receiving major support from the billionaires club as listed above, also speaks volumes to those who say they refuse to support him because he is too much of a GOP establishment hack of some kind. These truths in campaign donation numbers currently show us that Newt Gingrich is not being supported by the establishment GOP and their crony-capitalists band of billionaires club members. This is probably an underlying reason as to why Newt Gingrich is now pulling in lots of support from various grassroots tea party voters that previously supported another GOP establishment outsider, the never-held-public-office-before, Mr. Herman Cain.

The 2012 elections will be a national dogfight of epic proportions, with the massive anti-establishment, anti-Obama sentiment being driven  largely by grassroots Tea party movements of informed citizens across America. The debt-spending must stop. The days of the richest ( see Obama, Romney) candidates running roughshod over We The People are fast coming to a close, much to the dismay of the billionaires club manipulators and big labor Unions bankrupting state governments through support your local fake Democrat campaigns.

2012 just can’t get here fast enough!
