Conservative Daily News‘ own Kira Davis and the conservative comedian and author Evan Sayet will be among those leading a raucous but respectful group of protesters at the Rage Against the Media rally being held today at CBS Studios on Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles.
Dr. Karen Siegumund, who holds a doctorate in Education and American Culture, is the key organizer of what she hopes is an uprising of American citizens who have had enough of mainstream media bias. The media cover-ups of Fast & Furious and Benghazigate show that today’s journalists are less impartial observers and reporters of news and relevant issues more activists with a progressive ideological agenda.
As noted by the protesters, long-time Democratic strategist Pat Caddell recently said that “[The press has] made themselves …the enemy of the American people,” while Roger L. Simon wrote, “We are the victims of a media coup d’état and are currently living under it.”
As I put it earlier at Independent Journal Review:
The American people’s trust in the Obama lapdog media is crumbling, which shouldn’t be a surprise for anyone who reads news from both the right and the left side of the aisle. The new low of 40% “fair amount/great deal” of confidence in the media reported by Gallup signals the jig is up for the pretend non-partisan media.
The decline in ratings comes mostly from Republicans and Independents, as Hot Air reports. Mainstream media trust from Independents has dropped from 50% to 31% since 2004.
If Americans are concerned about mainstream media bias, this is their chance to rally with other citizens to do something about it. Hopefully, this is only the first of many more such rallies to come.

10/2/12 Tonight marks the first of three debates between President Obama and his opponent Mitt Romney. It will be hosted at the University of Colorado and moderated by PBS’s Jim Lehrer (making his 13th Presidential Debate appearance). This also may be the first time the nation at large will get to see the “real” candidates. During the 2008 elections Obama was an unknown quantity, a blank canvas on which Americans could project their own ideas of who Barack Obama was, and who they hoped him to be. This time around Obama has a record, a string of scandals and an air of arrogance that has surprised many of his supporters. Since the mainstream media has already been grossly negligent in reporting on the Obama administration, tonight will be the first time the public will be able to see Obama directly challenged on his dismal record.
This will also be the first time many non-Republicans will get to see Mitt Romney in action. Tonight will be an opportunity for Romney to show America his “real” personality as opposed to what gets shown on the biased evening news reports from a negligent (yes, I used the word again because it cannot be overstated) national media. If played right, this could be Romney’s Reagan moment. Just like Reagan did in 1980 when running against Carter, Romney could have the opportunity to show a lighter side than has been painted in the media; to break away from the “evil Republican” caricature and give Americans the opportunity to say “Gee, I never realized he was such a likable guy”.
Already the mainstream media and the Obama campaign (one in the same, basically) have been hard at work lowering expectations for his performance tonight. There is no doubt that this debate is Romney’s to lose…but then again, Republicans have always been good at securing defeat from the jaws of victory.
There should be no issues finding a broadcast to watch this evening as nearly every major station will be covering the event, but here is a link to one live stream if you prefer to watch online. And don’t forget to follow me on Twitter as I’ll be live-tweeting the debate tonight and that is ALWAYS entertaining. You can follow me @kiradavis422 or just click on the Twitter button right here on the site to get connected.
Univision starts doing the work the mainstream media won’t do.
Debates tomorrow! Can Mitt get a bump in the polls?
Also we’ll be giving away a signed copy of The Army You Have’s latest cd to one lucky caller! Tune in tonight at 10pm ET, 7pm Pacific on the CDNews Network on BlogTalk Radio.
9/30/12 Comedian Evan Sayet; Entertainment Crack-up with Louis Fowler; Economic patriotism and betraying free speech; tonight at 10pm ET, 7pm Pacific on the CDNews Network on Blogtalk Radio.

President Obama will address the United Nations this week and reports are that he will once again address the YouTube video that is supposedly fueling the anti-American riots across the Middle East. Whatever he says, I know I will be underwhelmed and disappointed. I decided to provide my own address to the United Nations. This video is what I would say if I had the opportunity to address the United Nations as a representative of the American people. I’m sorry for the poor audio. It’s just me and the webcam so quality is limited but as my friend Lee Doren says, don’t sweat it and don’t be afraid. Just turn on the camera and talk. A transcript is also posted beneath the video.
Despots, traitors, authoritarians, totalitarians, thieves, war criminals, genocidal maniacs, dictators and the precious few rest of you who actually carry the mantel of freedom, welcome to the United States and New York City, where you’ll remember over 3000 of our innocent citizens between here and Washington DC were murdered 11 years ago as many of you danced in your elaborate golden palaces, many of which are lined with the tears and blood of your own people. We are so privileged to have you here. My fellow citizens and I find no small measure of entertainment in watching you eat and drink the bounty of our land and enjoy the privileges of comfortable luxury appointments, all of which are provided to you by the very freedom you pledge to murder wherever and wherever possible.
By now it has come to our attention in no small manner that many of you and your people have been gravely upset by a YouTube video that purportedly disparages Islam. So upset, that your proxies who claim to represent Islam have murdered our ambassador and overrun our sovereign embassies in defiance of hundreds of years of international tradition and diplomacy. Apparently the 98 people with internet access in your third world dictatorships were so outraged by this YouTube, I repeat, YouTube video they saw fit to rape ambassador Chris Stevens before killing and photographing his body in the streets of Libya. Now I know that to many of you, this is not a shocking allegation as you have very fond feelings for the act of rape. But here in America we consider that the ugliest of violations toward any human being. It’s a shame that YouTube video, I repeat, YouTube video was ever produced at all. Forget the content, the quality is most offensive to those of us who actually value freedom. Most Americans could have probably done a better job with some bedsheets, Halloween hair coloring and tanning lotion, and done so without insulting what so many of our own citizens believe to be a holy book and prophet. However, that is the unfortunate price of freedom. The freedom to make good choices is also the same freedom to make poor choices. How else do you explain Glee and Matt Damon? Two things we do sincerely apologize for. We also apologize for not telling you sooner that your determination to condemn your citizens to a 12th century existence in a 21st century world is no longer our problem or our concern. If this never-ending war in Afghanistan has taught us anything it’s that too many of you have placed little or no value on the lives of your own citizens, your own women, your own children. You have traded the message and basis of freedom for greed, corruption, selfishness, cruelty and evil at the expense of those you pledged to care for when you took, or stole leadership. We apologize to the citizens of Iran and Egypt who truly do want freedom and progress, and whom we abandoned under our own President when they needed our support the most. That is a genuine source of grief and shame for many Americans who long to see you free and prosperous as well. We are so sorry for that. We also apologize for emboldening some your state sponsored terrorist organizations by perpetuating the lie that these attacks on our sovereign embassies over a YouTube, I repeat, a YouTube video and not calling this what it really was from the beginning: an attack on American interests and values to commemorate the anniversary of September 11 in the United States. We apologize for our President, who has clearly abandoned the message of freedom and achievement that has made our country the greatest country on the face of the planet in all history forever and ever in favor of a message of appeasement; appeasement to you dictators who give not a moment’s thought to the suffering of your own people while you live lives of ease and luxury upon the dollars and earnings that you have outright stolen at the end of a gun.
What we don’t apologize for and will never apologize for is our own citizens exercising their own God-given right to free speech (no matter how ugly or poorly produced) on our own soil, using our own technology, to reach our own people. American values have not and will not ever be dictated by a small group of fascist demons with daddy issues who hate the idea of freedom so much that they have pledged, sworn to eradicate the only free, successful society among them, that being Israel. Americans will not apologize to anyone outside of our borders for what we do inside our borders. It’s our business. If we’re ever in the mood for stonings, beheading homosexuals, or wiping our butts with our hands we’ll come visit you and subject ourselves to your national dominion. However, until then we’ll continue to do as we please with our own rights in our own country provided to us by our own Constitution and our God. There aren’t many of us who are truly excited about the content of this YouTube video, I repeat, YouTube video; but we all understand that freedom of speech is not truly free unless you have the freedom to say things that might offend others. What true freedom also produces, is a general common sense among the masses that offensive speech does not and should not produce massive violent attacks.
We are Americans, and our right to free speech is one of the most valued rights we have; indeed most of our other rights flow from that one concept; the idea that every human should be able to speak their mind without fear of retribution or physical harm. It is no coincidence that we are the freest, most powerful country on earth. That too is directly tied to our freedom of speech. But I think you know that, and that is why you work so hard to censor us within our own borders from within your own borders. You understand that the only way to truly break the American spirit that has been responsible for so much prosperity and yes, so much peace is to destroy our freedom of expression. But I’ve come to tell you today that will not happen. We will not bow or capitulate to your warped ideas of morality. Ideas that advocate killing over people over a YouTube video, I repeat, a YouTube video, but have no issues with treating women as property, cattle, or less. Sorry, we’re just not going to do that. so while we agree that this YouTube video, I repeat, YouTube video really sucks, we also understand that it has the right to exist and suck. It’s not always pretty, but that is price of freedom and whenever I sit down to enjoy my daily meals, running showers and household technology I do believe it is an appropriate price to pay for plethora of blessings we have.
In summary, we’re Americans and we love freedom and we always will so suck it.
Thank you and enjoy your taxpayer funded stay.

Never forget. Never, ever forget.
I’ve been getting a lot of questions about the controversy surrounding my ejection from MSNBC’s outdoor pavilion during the DNC. I decided to lay out my version of events on YouTube. I hope this clears up any questions for you. I also want to thank Tabitha Hale of the Franklin Center, Brandon Darby and Lee Stranahan for standing by me during this ridiculous course of events.

Tingle Time Chris Matthews and the MSNBC Crowd must be wetting themselves today because their security guards escorted a black conservative woman and her friends out of their pavilion when she showed a hand-made sign showing her support for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.
Breitbart TV was first with the story and video as Breibart contributing writer Lee Stranahan was there. Kudos to them. The woman with the sign was none other than our own Kira Davis of conservativedailynews.com and KiraDavis.net. Kira’s sign said simply, “Black, Conservative, and Voting for Romney! Romney/Ryan 2012″. See some of the additional video of the event here
(Breitbart TV footage of conservative blogger Kira Davis getting ejected from their pavilion at the DNC.)
(Additional footage from Breitbart TV.)
So why was the MSNBC crew so fearful of this woman, Kira Davis and her blogger friends Lee Stranahan, Tabitha Hale and Brandon Darby that they ejected them from the area, banning them and their cameras even though other people had cameras? Because according to the mainstream narrative, black Americans aren’t supposed to be conservative and can’t support Romney. In fact, previously MSNBC has reported that Zero Percent of Black Americans support Romney, even though this is provably false. Look at this report about black conservative delegates at the RNC on The Blaze.
MSNBC and the mainstream media are so stodgy and out of touch that these lefty leftovers can’t understand in their blinding arrogance that they no longer own the narrative. They can’t show this conservative mom from suburban California, can’t interview her. That would destroy their control of that narrative, even though everyone and anyone with a smart phone with a camera, social media and Internet access can be a journalist and fact check the lies that they are bringing forward, even before they finish making their fallacious arguments.
That’s what the Breitbart people did today when they got ejected from the pavilion, they filmed the event and now there is a Twitter and Facebook firestorm that follows. I think this event won’t discourage conservative bloggers like Kira and her friends, it will continue to empower them. The MSM is the media of the past. We own the narrative and they are losing. Kudos to Kira. I can’t wait to hear her on Blogtalk Radio, and see her coverage of the news of the day on conservativedailynews.com and KiraDavis.net. I’m not worried that Chris Matthews won’t interview her. I’m sure someone like Larry O’Connor will. I like him much better, and I trust him. Matthews I can’t stand.
I actually feel kind of bad for MSNBC. You gotta know that the conservative bloggers are going to hammer them over this. I mean, what are they afraid of anyway? Are they racist? Do they hate women? They’re so used to putting those claims out in describing conservatives, fully expecting not to be challenged. But they will be challenged and already have been. I can’t wait until Alfonso Rachel or Stephen Cruiser get a hold of this story. Oh wow, I can see the sparks fly now!
We are winning this fight and Kira Davis is living proof. People don’t believe the lies of the left anymore, except the mind-numbed minority that watch the MSM these days. More and more people get their news from alternative sources, right on their mobile phones and devices. A false claim from one of these talking heads comes out and a news consumer on a smart phone can instantly fact check those claims. It’s no wonder the left wants to regulate the Internet. They are losing control and if measures aren’t taken soon, they will never get it back. Good. The power in this Republic belongs to an informed citizenry. With an open and free Internet, we are freer than we ever have been before.
Thank you Kira, for your courage. You inspire us!
And to the Breitbart people I say this: Andrew inspired us to fight this war, and you are carrying the torch of his legacy very well. I’m sure he would be very proud of all of you. We in the conservative blogosphere aspire to be like you, and him.
