Happy Birthday America?

ObamaUncleSam

You know that awkward moment when you go to your wife’s, aunt Mabel’s, second cousin’s 96th birthday party? She is in a wheelchair, doesn’t really know who is in the room with her, and has to be fed and cleaned by others. Everyone remembers when she was a vibrant, smart, and loving person, not always nice, but always fair. She helped whenever she could. You don’t know whether to wish her “Happy Birthday with many more to come” or “God’s speed” to be in the presence of the Almighty, pain-free and without earthly shackles.

I felt that way this past week. How was I going to wish America a Happy Birthday when I wasn’t really sure if the America we all know and love would exist as that “shining city on the hill” next year or in years to come?

America’s birthday (4th of July), according to John Quincy Adams, and Christmas (birth of Christ) were intrinsically connected. He went on to imply that on the 4th the Founders simply took the precepts of Christ and incorporated those principles into civil government.

The Founders understood that for America to survive it had to have a solid code by which it functioned and existed. It had to have a moral compass and guide. But who’s? And what kind?

The French? No, that was a monarchy and tyranny. The Spanish? More of the same. The Brits? That’s what they were running away from. The Germans? Who?

They wanted freedom for man. None of these provided that. The ultimate power was in a King, a man. That’s not what they wanted. They wanted freedom for the citizenry to choose their leaders, their way of life, their religion, to start or not start a business, to celebrate or not celebrate Christmas or any other holiday! Complete freedom!

The America my grandparents came to live in, the one my mom came to live in, the one I saw those many immigrants that came to the Italian North End of Boston to work and start their own business in is no longer here. Now for clarity, many of the immigrants I have spoken with over the last year say America is still much better than where they came from, but that even they have seen freedoms erode since arriving.

We no longer have 3 branches of government. We have one. The chief and grand supreme dictator, Barrack Obama. His pen and his phone will do all the work. His “Capos” will carry out his commands and he will run America the way he sees fit. It won’t matter what his experts say. It won’t matter what history has seen. It won’t even matter if the facts and figures show him to be wrong. He will continue do it his way.

Great presidents before him understood how the Constitution worked and usually reached out to all parties. Reagan and Tip O’Neil worked together, Clinton and Gingrich did too, and they got things done. It was not uncommon for those presidents to call the speaker of the house and others over to discuss working through these issues with both sides giving and taking to come up with a solution.

No Borders, No Rules = Dictatorship!

king-obama1

This was a heavy news week. Tens of thousands of illegals trampled over our borders. Where is the President? Out campaigning. The head of the IRS knew about the missing or lost emails at the last hearing, yet said nothing! Where is the President? Out campaigning! Five very nasty terrorists are released for one U.S. soldier. Where is the president? Out campaigning.

What’s he campaigning for? He already won. We are stuck with him 2.5 more years, maybe! (The smell of impeachment is in the air.) Many of the Democrats running for office don’t want him involved. Some have even asked him to stay away!

The Prez went on attacking Republicans for all his failures. Apparently, the man can’t take responsibility for anything. Anyone who thinks they are right all the time is a danger to himself and to others.

Since I’ve been doing my radio show, (now over 700 of them “in the can”) I have done many stories where this President has failed the American people miserably. At first I thought it was incompetence. I thought maybe his years as a community organizer just didn’t expose him to enough to be a real leader. Surely his years in the legislature surely would have prepared him for the decision-making duties of a president? Right? I’m sure all those “present” votes on tough issues had to teach him something.

Yes, those experiences, and many others, have put him in a position to be the worst president in American history! By now many Dems are begging to have Jimmy Carter back. In fact, I suspect many Republicans would rather have him back, as well!

We’ll pause here a moment to allow some of you to shout “racist” simply because I don’t agree with or like the president. PAUSE. OK, now back to reality.

This president doesn’t care for our borders, at all. He has the money for it but has not finished the border fence. Why doesn’t he care? He doesn’t want borders. If he did, he would finish the fence, send down the guards, and protect Americans. He’s not interested.

It’s interesting that Mexico usually captures, beats, and returns those who cross over their southern borders illegally. Apparently that is no longer the case. We are seeing an influx of illegals coming from South America and Mexico at record numbers. Instead of following our own deportation rules, the president has told his people that we are to care for, document, feed, and clothe those coming over the border illegally. We can’t help our veterans. Only the illegals. We have homeless vets that we can’t put in some of the military bases across the country, but we can, fly, bus, and truck illegals in to occupy those places. We can fly in medical personnel and supplies, but we can’t do the same for our vets.

This president complained about Mr. Bush’s overreach of power and the many executive orders that Mr. Bush signed, however, he is catching up to that number fast! And, if you “lefties” were being honest, there is a difference between the type of executive orders Mr. Bush signed and the ones that Mr. Obama has signed. A majority of Mr. Obama’s executive orders change laws. That’s what the legislative branch is supposed to do. Mr. Bush’s executive orders largely revolved around sending needed medical supplies to third world nations, including Africa, to help stop the spread of HIV.

This president’s continuous lies (not misspeaks) about his healthcare plan, NSA spying, the Mexican-American gun-running scheme, his Benghazi cover-up, his IRS targeting conservatives, DOJ spying on the press, and too many more to list here. I could eat up this whole article listing how this president runs his office as a dictator.

His recent comments about how he will not wait for Congress shows his disdain for the American people, our laws, and way of life. If he loved the people and the country, he would abide by the laws he swore to uphold. But the truth for him is very hard to find.

$15 Minimum Wage = Small Business Death Sentence

325679999_closed_xlarge

Recently some cities have enacted a $15.00 per hour minimum wage piggy backing on the president signing a $10.10 minimum wage order for federal “vendors.” Not employees, just “vendors.” The cities decided they knew better and dealt a death blow to an already fragile economy. Many small businesses, and fast food and hospitality-based businesses need inexpensive workers to ensure they keep costs down on food and services that otherwise most Americans wouldn’t buy. That’s right. Americans want bargains. They don’t want $12 hamburgers and a $14 rootie-tuttie pancake plate, or a $150 a night Motel 6 room.

Most of those screaming about the minimum wage are those who A.) will eventually get dues from it (read: union) or B.) think the world revolves around them and that they should get $15.00/hour for making my “½ caff, decafe, macchiato over sugared” coffee incorrectly. But that’s not the point. The point is that, most of the businesses targeted here are franchise business; Subways, IHOPs, and McDonalds, just to name a few.

Franchises make very little money until you own several of them. Franchise owners are mom and pop stores where they mortgage their homes, spend their savings, and, usually, are the last to take a paycheck to ensure everyone else gets paid first.

Now, let me pause to say to those of you who are going to email or write me about how much these businesses are making. If you’ve never have had a business yourself (with multiple employees), I will say, in the immortal words of Archie Bunker, “stifle it,” and in my words, “go pound sand,” you have no more standing than someone who doesn’t vote complaining about our leaders.

If you think that raising the minimum wage from $8.00 plus per hour to $15.00 per hour won’t affect mom and pop you have a counting problem. Businesses figure out how many people they need to run the business and turn a profit. Let’s say the number is 10. You almost double wages by raising to $15.00/hour. That means on paper it’s like doubling the workforce (without the increased manpower), yet the business has already determined that they can’t afford that many employees. The bottom line is, some workers will have to go! It’s bad enough that most jobs created these days are part-time simply because most businesses can’t afford Obamacare and are uncertain of the economy. So we end up with more lost jobs.

On what planet does that make sense? And what about the stores that are on the outskirts of those cities implementing the increase? Do you think many will drive an extra few miles to pay less for a hamburger or gas or services, especially in today’s economy? Yes, of course they will! So how is that going to help the already struggling businesses who are now mandated the $15.00/hour minimum wage? It won’t!

In my area we have had several restaurants shutdown due to a lack of traffic to keep them open, even though they were always packed, with a waiting line! Eating establishments are giving out coupons by the truckload, buy one get one, get a free dessert, Tuesdays kids eat free. These are loss leaders hoping people will come in and buy more booze or items not on special. Guess what? When people are hurting free is all they can afford.

In Seattle the airport has already raised its minimum wage to $15.00/hour. It’s going into effect January 1st, 2015. Employees are already looking at how to spend it. Yes, that $8.00 beer will now cost you $12.00 and that Pizza Hut Mini $12.00 pizza will now cost you $18.00. Great! And now, airport vendors say they are looking for ways to cut employees! More unemployed. Good job Mr. Obama. The only jobs you seem to be creating are the ones at the Unemployment Offices to handle the influx of people. Thanks.

Vote Often and Vote Often!

obama chicago politics

California legislators have once again decided they know best. Instead of fixing our infrastructure, getting our debt under control, and making sure we weren’t the most welfare-friendly state in the union, they come up with another drug induced law called “CVRA,” the California voting rights act (signed into law in 2002). The law, in its simplest form (obviously crafted by the same people that wrote Obamacare,) says that because minorities seem to have a hard time getting elected in local races intervention is needed to make it an almost sure win.

The California legislators decided that because many cities and towns didn’t seem to reflect the demographics of the locals they needed to step in. Let me translate for you. Too many Republicans were winning seats in local elections and they needed to change that.

At this point, the law mostly ensures 2 things;
1.) Attorneys will get rich by simply writing a letter and forcing districts (that they have no real knowledge of) into district-based voting that doesn’t always work!, and
2.) That Chicago-style voting tactics are now legal in California.

In addition the CVRA proponents of the law also want election dates to be moved to the presidential election cycle. Why? Seems that a majority of Democrats can’t get off their butts to vote in primaries and local general elections. These are not my stats. This information comes from union sources and the California Secretary of State. The Dems have had control of both houses in California for many years, but local elections don’t always run on the state and federal election cycles and they’re having trouble getting people to come out to an additional vote. So instead of forcing people to be responsible citizens and rise to the occasion, they lower the bar.

Does anyone see a pattern here? No proof of citizenship. No proof of identity. What next? Will we send “non-citizens” around with ballots from door-to-door to collect votes? Seriously?

Let’s be clear. The CVRA is from that same “wise group” that has brought us so many bad bills. State laws courtesy of the loons up north, like:

AB131, the so-called Dream Act, which requires taxpayers to subsidize college costs for illegal immigrants even more than they do for some citizen students. My daughter, an American taxpaying citizen, can’t get the same rate if she moves back into the state. She would have to move to Mexico, renounce her American citizenship, become a Mexican citizen, and cross the border illegally in order to receive those subsidies! How much dope do you have to smoke to have that make sense?

Then there is AB506, a bill pushed by government employee unions to make it more difficult for municipalities to file for bankruptcy, and consequently more difficult to void costly contracts with public-employee unions. So even if the majority of the debt owed has to do with union-related dollars, the city can’t include union related items in a bankruptcy, and in some cases can’t even file. What part of “there is no money in the bucket” is not understood here?

Let’s get back to the CVRA.

There are over 75 cities in California, many with a majority of Democrat voters, that are run by elected Republicans. Democrats outnumber Republican voters by almost 2 to 1 in Los Angeles County alone and there are only 2 statewide seats held by Republicans. Yes Republicans hold close to half the 2,500 mayoral and city council seats in California, according to figures compiled by Grassroots Lab, a Sacramento research and political data firm. In the 2010 and 2012 federal election cycle, Republicans won more local seats than Democrats, and not just in rural or in traditionally conservative-leaning regions like the Central Valley.

Sure… Bergdahl Left Because His Platoon Was Full of Psychopaths.

party9

What are the chances? Now we have a senior ranking official in the Obama administration suggesting that Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s entire platoon was crazy. Because that’s so much more likely than just one guy deserting?

Deputy Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Brandon Friedman went so far as to call members of Bergdahl’s platoon “psychopaths”. Seriously? Someone needs to check on this Friedman guy. There’s a lot of speculation and theory about what happened to Bergdahl

America Has a New Owner and It Ain’t George Soros!

KingO

This has been a very big news week with lots of stories to draw us
away. Gwyneth Paltrow says water has feelings, Charlize Theron compares “Press intrusion” to rape! Why do we give place to these morons? And Mr. Obama’s “Lets get physical?” workout recording. Even with all that great news, I was stuck on an interview with the President, and King, Mr. Obama.

I was under the impression that Mr. Obama was a constitutional professor at some school who’s records I am sure have been sealed by court order at this time.

I was always taught and have seen that there are 3 branches of government. Please don’t make me explain all of this. If you don’t know, please, immediately rip up your voter card.

The branches of government were created and configured to keep each other in check so that no one group would have all the power. Our Founding Fathers knew that if any one group had the ability to grab all the power they would and we would quickly become a monarchy or dictatorship. These were very smart men.

The current president and constitutional professor can’t seem to find the truth if you put it in a marked bag using orange reflective highway paint and handed it to him. Even members of his own team are calling him out. He claims that the Bergdahl swap was a “time is of the essence” thing. Not true! There was no imminent danger. He wasn’t dying and there was no immediate threat of execution.

President Obama said in the interview that he makes no apologies for his decision because a man was left behind in uniform, fighting for his country. I won’t deal with the desertion issue right now, but this guy has been captured for years with negotiations going on for many months. At first, they wanted to trade for dollars, but his joint chiefs and executive members advised against it.

Now, the opportunity to negotiate came back around again and the president decided this is all his call. He has a pen and a phone and he is not willing to wait on Congress as the law requires. For good measure, he runs it by his joint chiefs and executive staff. They all say it’s a bad idea and sets a bad precedent. But, hey, don’t let the experts or the law get in the way! This president sees no one above himself, in intelligence or power or expertise. No one!

As he has done so many times in the past, he once again disregards the experts and decides he will make the trade and break the law by not informing the Security Council and he makes the deal. Now to prove this is a non-partisan issue, his own senior party members are furious over this. Some agree it was a bad move. Most are mad because he didn’t let them know, once again showing that he sees himself as the supreme leader and overseer.

A phrase he used in the interview made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. When asked by the interviewer was there anything wrong with what he did he says:

I make no apologies for it. It was a unanimous decision among my principals in my government, and a view that was shared by the Joint Chiefs of Staff. This is something I would do again and will continue to do whenever I have an opportunity.

First of all, Mr. Dictator, it is NOT “your government”! It’s the “people’s government.” It’s a government for the people by the people, not for Obama by what’s good for Obama. Second, you lie! Your team, your principles, were not in agreement. They all told you it was a bad move, but, as usual, you ignored the experts because you see yourself in the realm of “godhood” and no one can possibly know more than you. Why even waste everyone’s time with asking those in your staff? He said he would do it again, and will continue, when the opportunity arises. Total disregard for the law, the truth, and the experts hired to guide him!

How about you do this for the first time… pick up the phone and call the Mexican president and get our Marine out of jail! Hello! Do something good! Making THAT phone call would not violate any laws. It’s part of your JOB!

Thought Police Recruiting !

PCpolice

I love receiving emails from people responding to issues posted on my website, both positive and negative. Some pieces are written by fellow hosts, bloggers and other writers, but all are issues worth discussing.

I recently posted one about the “birther” issue. There are still investigations as to President Obama’s birthplace. The only people who accept 100 percent that Obama is hiding nothing about his birth, his school years, and his true love for this country are the ones who think right-wing, Bible-believing, conservatives like me should not have the right to freedom of speech simply because we don’t think like them.

Yup. The “thought police” are out in force. One of these thought police actually posted on Facebook that I was racist, and the single, simple proof was that I questioned this president’s birthplace.

The logic of the left always astounds me. Would that same conclusion hold true if the president were white? The educated left doesn’t need dictionaries or thesauruses because words mean only what they want them to mean. Period.

The dictionary defines racism as: 1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one’s own race is superior and has the right to rule others; 2. a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination; 3. hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.

Is the poster saying that my questioning the president’s birthplace suggests I think I am superior to him? That’s a bit of a stretch. Or maybe the poster is saying that by my suggesting we talk about some new “facts” on the issue, it could expose that Obama may or may not be who he says he is, and might be my attempt (again) to show my superiority over his race? (Yes, that’s sarcasm.) Another stretch if you ask me.

And if all else fails, my posting the piece surely shows I hate or am intolerant of the black race, because if you haven’t noticed, the president is black, even though he works so hard to hide that fact. (Yes, more sarcasm.) And here I thought we were all part of the human race.

This is exactly how the left wins arguments, especially those in the herd who are weaker. Most people just want to live their lives, go to work, feed their families and enjoy the fruits of their labor. Old and treasured values of being an American. My grandfather, a Democrat, my dad, a Democrat, my uncle, a Democrat (he died a few years ago and has still been voting Democrat, I’m sure) – all had spirited conversations about politics and religion with people of many colors, origins, religions and political persuasions, but they never walked away from each other hating the thoughts of the other or feeling bad about what they discussed.

I grew up in the state that gave us Kennedy, Tip O’Neil, Dukakis and other famous libs.

Sunday morning church for most was coffee, a cigarette, the Boston Globe, and good, spirited political conversation. No words like bigot, racist or blank-a-phobe were part of the conversation. They treasured open, honest conversation.

Today the party, and many of the people of the “big tent” group, have spawned the PC and thought police.

Wanna start a fight? In my day, it was just looking at your foe and saying, “Hey. Your mamma wears Army boots.” The gloves were off and fists were flying, because those were fighting words.

Today, the enlightened left will call you a hater, ignorant, bigot, racist and a blank-a-phobe for saying things like, “The president has no foreign policy plan,” “The president has failed to protect our soldiers overseas,” “I don’t see what a man sees in another man,” “I get a little uneasy when I see a group of ‘Muslim’-looking men getting on a plane with me,” “Obamacare is a disaster” or “You need God.” Any one of these statements, and even less, could get you in a heap of trouble.

Yes, the thought police will jump all over you like “white on rice.” (Is that politically incorrect or insensitive? Whatever.) They have more and more volunteers on social media sites. Why? Because it doesn’t take any guts to fight and call someone names on social media. It’s easy, and they like easy. That’s why they are looking for volunteers.

Our Founding Fathers had heated and long, drawn-out debates over many issues in the formation of this country. Over the years, people on many political sides of the aisle have had deep and heated conversations over issues of the day. But the current level of attack by the left on all speech that isn’t “liberal speech” is ridiculous.

Hey, thought police. Get out your “tongue cuffs,” because you’re waking a sleeping giant. Many Christian conservatives are waking up and seeing how dangerous you people are. Yes, I said “you people.” The ones who think having a non-liberal vocabulary makes me a hater. You people who think every criticism of the president could only be because I’m a racist. (God forbid he might actually be capable of doing something wrong.)

You people who think that because some of us don’t want a runaway healthcare plan that takes care of people who are here illegally, mooching off the system, we must be racist. (Because only non-whites mooch the system? That just shows your true ignorance.)

You people who think that because some of us want the borders secure so we can actually get our economy and national security under control must mean I’m a racist because, obviously, I’m trying to keep Hispanics out. Not because drugs, guns, criminals and terrorists (from many countries) are crossing the border. Only American-loving Hispanics who want a better life for their families cross illegally, right? If you buy into that, I’ve got a bridge I want to sell you.

Political Correctness Brings More Shooting Sprees!

mental-health

This story is tragic… for the family of the victims and the shooter, and for a community that will be, for a time, trying to piece this all together. I mean no disrespect to the families, victims, doctors, or responders to this event.

Over the weekend, a very disturbed young man killed 6 people (3 stabbed, 3 shot) and injured several others (some with his car) before turning the gun on himself.

The calls on Facebook went out immediately, “full background checks for all gun sales”, “we need to make it harder for people to get guns”, “high capacity magazines need to be banned”, and “no one needs a gun”. But really America, excuse me, really LIBERAL America, get a grip! This is the perfect case to show how foolish all those comments are!

This piece is going to be a little harsh, so stop reading if you don’t want an in-your-face look at this massacre.

Let’s start with the fact that Elliot Rodger was a very disturbed young man. He had been for some time before this killing rampage. As with many of these types of incidents, I am sure we will find out that many around him were “creeped” out by him and that he showed warning signs similar to those seen in other shootings.

Police had had contact with this young man several times. On one occasion they even said that after they met with him they found him to be, “polite and courteous,” even “timid and shy.” He indicated to deputies that he was having trouble in his social life and would not be coming back to school next semester. No big deal. Basically, a routine call.

Reports indicate Rodger was “being seen by a variety of health care professionals” but those details are protected information. In discussions with some of the locals and on police reports, Rodgers showed signs of aggression and irritation towards anyone that would not accept him. His 141 page manifesto and the video testimonials show a very disturbed young man. Let me repeat, a VERY DISTURBED young man.

Rodger’s friends said the reason he was hard to be around, male and female alike, is that he was constantly whining about either how he couldn’t get a date or bragging about his looks, sense of style, nice car, how well-spoken he was, and so on. In his recordings and writings he was obsessed with having sex and couldn’t understand why most of the women at college wouldn’t want to be with such a wonderful, awesome, handsome guy (him). In one of the videos he indicates this has been building up inside him for 8 years. And no one saw it? Or maybe, no one was willing to say anything?

The system failed the families affected by this tragedy! The police, the background checks, the parents, the neighbors, YES, the whole system.

The parents knew there was something up with this guy. They knew he was seeing a VARIETY of mental health professionals. Why? A family member called the police and alerted them to the many videos he had online that were disturbing and should have set off all kinds of bells and whistles with the college, the parents, the police, and others.

But because we can’t talk about someone’s mental health (it’s politically incorrect, you know) it’s better to keep those issues private than make sure we don’t have college campus stabbings and shootings, elementary school shootings, and mall shootings. Does this sound ridiculous to anyone else?

Rodger got these guns legally. He passed a background check. HOW? The system failed him and the community, that’s how. Regardless of all the calls on Facebook for more gun control, this is not a gun issue. It’s a mental health issue. He didn’t just use guns to do the damage he did. He also stabbed 3 people to death and injured several with his car. Will the next call be to control and ban knives and cars?

Looking around just a little into Rogers you find things like an obsession with YouTube videos like, eight minutes of the gory Game Of Thrones “Red Wedding” episode and Philosophy of the Knife, a graphic film about Japanese torture during World War II. Why didn’t his therapists see this as an issue?

Keep in mind he has his guns legally! He passed the federal gun check. WHY? According to the family lawyer he was being treated by multiple therapists and had been diagnosed as “a high-functioning patient with Asperger syndrome.” So, how did he get guns? Political correctness. We can’t talk about the mental health issue.

Honoring Those Who Died for Us

10343536_10152210858114032_97527316449676528_n

Honoring those who served and died for us… or are we? A good number of Americans can’t tell you what Memorial Day is all about. While some will tell you it’s about a long weekend, others will say it’s another BBQ day. The real Americans will tell you that it is a day to honor those Americans who died to give us the FREEDOM to forget what the day is about, or to remember what the day was about. The freedom to go out on the lake or to the park with your family. The freedom to do just about anything you want.

The Freedom to call former President Bush a Liar, President Obama a dictator and for former President Clinton to say “I never had sexual relations with that woman” several times. It is the freedom to openly ridicule our President, Government officials and troops to all the world without fear of becoming a political prisoner or being taken out back and being shot. (not as of yet)

I will tell you what I will be remembering… I will remember that it was American soldiers that freed my mother and her family from Italy in WWII, so that she could come here and we could have a better life. By today’s standards America would probably have been told they should have stayed out of that war also because the oppressed people didn’t actually ask for their help.

I will be remembering all the dead American soldiers that died for others all around the world so they could be free from communism or oppression from dictators so that others could enjoy the freedoms that we have.

I will remember how American lives were given on foreign soil, twice, to liberate France so they could have the freedom to come against us in many ways during these last few wars with terrorism. I will remember the how American lives were also given to liberate Germany so they could also have the freedom to come against last few wars with terrorism.

Some may say that we Americans think that we are so good and righteous that we need to be the “Policemen of the World”. I don’t think that is it at all. I think it’s no different than when most good Americans who aren’t wrapped up in their own lives or agendas see another person in real need, stop and help, without any need for repayment.

What I will be trying to forget is all the bitterness that I hear in the news. I read in the paper how the world is outraged at the way we Americans think we have the right to go into any country and occupy as we see fit.
Yet there is virtually nothing written about the many DEAD Americans fighting for the freedom of citizens being oppressed in many of those countries and at the request of those countries leaders. Maybe we should back off and let the world go the way of the Ukraine.

I will be trying to forget all the pictures the media shows us of the destruction being caused by the Americans soldiers oversees, Instead I will remember some of the articles I have read about Americans rebuilding schools, hospitals, and homes and the children having places of education, with electricity and hot running water, and the AMERICAN soldiers who put themselves in harm’s way to protect others who can’t protect themselves.

I will be remembering the 9/11 tragedy. Not simply because of all the innocent victims, but because we can’t let it happen again… here or anywhere else.

I will remember those victims, Americans, oversees that were there to help that were tortured, beaten, burned, and God knows what else, Then hung up for all the word to see, again I say, where was the outrage?.

And for all those who say we should not be in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria or anywhere else. Talk to those survivors or the children of those survivors of the Holocaust, there were many who said we didn’t belong there either, and how many would have been saved if we got involved earlier.

I will remember and thank the leadership of that time for getting involved.
A sincere thanks to all the AMERICANS that selflessly gave their time and in some cases their lives, to make this country a safer place for me and my family. I can only try to repay the debt by honoring them ALL year long..

May God continue to bless you and your families.
