Federal Immigration and Nationality Act Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii)

There is no (b)(iii) section to this law. Do you have a new cite for the quote?

I hear the argument that the DOJ lawsuit is largely a campaign to increase voters for the democrats. An attempt to show the Hispanic population that the Obama administration is “sympathetic” to the immigration issue. The Hispanic peoples that I know through church, school, and neighbors are here legally and are very proud of the effort they put in obtaining true citizenship.
Most striking to me is the clash of beliefs in the Obama admin. very liberal agenda, and the Catholic faith that is the religious majority in the Hispanic population. But, I digress, that is an article all by itself.
What those opposing the Arizona law, and believe that BO’s administration truly cares will be cast aside, just as many before, once their purpose is served.
If the polls and outcry from the left demanded a halt illegal immigration as a reason for rising unemployment, the action would occur so swiftly that there heads would spin.
Though I have gone somewhat off topic, I do want to address an issue that absolutely makes the vein in my neck stand out. The question of asking “for papers” and the issue of prolonged detainment. Anyone who has ever had a traffic stop, or an accident has been asked to produce these documents. The investigation is only as fast as the info can be provided and confirmed. Oklahoma is now using software, as has pursued this vigorously, that can immediately confirm the presence of active car insurance. If you are found to not have an active policy, in their system, your paper card is not adequate enough. They can seize your vehicle immediately, if you can prove that you did in fact have coverage, then you may retrieve your vehicle along with paying the towing fees. How is this any less an intrusion than anything requested of those 15 people in the van? How about ICE coming up with a system to aid in confirming the immigration status of anyone.
Along with all the platitudes this administration has destroyed we must add “what’s good for the goose is good for the gander”. The new term is what’s good for the left, better be good for the right, or else…
