Not Your Father’s GOP

Joe Biden has many programmed catchphrases that he pulls out as needed. These phrases are designed to attract maximum media attention and rile up the Democrat lemmings who still believe Joe Biden is an effective Chief Executive. Biden also uses these phrases so he does not have to think on the fly. Thinking equates to gaffes in Biden’s world. One of Biden’s most popular phrases that he pulls out often is, “this is not your Father’s GOP. This is the MAGA-GOP.” Using this as an argument allows Biden not to debate an issue on the facts. He calls all Republicans, MAGA Republicans, and then drops the microphone.

In one way, he is correct. My father’s GOP, he actually was a Massachusetts Democrat, was thought to be the Party of the rich and big business. It was the Party of the white rich and famous. Over the last fifty years, the party identities changed completely. Some think they have flipped. Not all Republicans are MAGA, as that denotes Right Wing extremists. The Republican Party is now the champion of the middle class and curator of rights, freedoms, and the Constitution. The GOP has gained tremendous support from the Black and Brown communities that used to be automatic votes for Democrats. Remember the famous Biden line from 2020, ” If you are not voting for me, then you ain’t Black.” It was an insensitive line showing the assumption that the Black and Brown voters would never vote GOP. It is a lazy and wrong assumption.

I contend the Democrat Party is not my Father’s or President John F. Kennedy’s. If JFK were alive today, he would align more with the GOP.

Let’s define today’s Democrats. If you voted for Joe Biden, do you align with these characteristics? Biden does.

1. Right to Choose- a woman should have the right to terminate her pregnancy up to the moment of birth.
2. A fetus that survives a pregnancy does not need to be kept alive.
3. Our Sovereignty is no longer necessary, and Borders are not required.
4. Any person who crosses our Border and into our country has the right to stay here in the name of asylum.
5. Illegal immigrants deserve a path to citizenship.
6. Illegal immigrants have a right to vote in the city and state they reside.
7. Illegal immigrants are eligible for Medicaid benefits.
8. Illegal immigrants are eligible for free community college
9. Police need to be defunded, and policing needs to be realigned
10. Bail needs to be eliminated as it is racist and a burden to the poor
11. The voting age should be lowered to 16
12. IDs should never be required to vote
13. Vote harvesting is a legal means of collecting votes.
14. Parents have little or no say in their child’s education.
15. Gender counseling belongs in all levels of public education
16. Children should be taken from parents who oppose gender reassignment.
17. Critical Race Theory should be taught in elementary grades.
18. The Supreme Court should be expanded beyond nine justices.
19. Transgender women should compete against biological women in all levels of athletics.
20. Gas-powered automobiles, trucks, and appliances should be banned

That is just 20 of the most radical views of today’s Democrat Party. Our heritage as a free country is eroding. The FBI is inserting itself into the Catholic Church, and the EPA is working to convert every appliance we own to energy-saving devices or make them illegal. The Constitution no longer guides Democrats as they try to control every aspect of our lives. 

Before you try to defend Biden and bash Trump or DeSantis, read through this list and decide which side of the aisle better represents your beliefs or desires. I think you may change your mind-I certainly hope and pray so.
