Former President Donald Trump’s Schedule This Day in 2017

President Donald Trump has no public events on his official schedule. The Trump family is spending the holidays at their Mar-a-Lago home in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The president played golf at Trump International Golf Club Wednesday morning. No word yet on who else was in the first foursome, but Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner also went to the club. Kushner was wearing a gray t-shirt, light blue swim trunks and flip-flops while Ivanka was clad in a white and blue striped shirt dress.

Later in the afternoon, the president visited the West Palm Beach firehouse. Trump, wearing a black suit and red tie, greeted the roughly four dozen first responders at West Palm Beach Fire and Rescue. He made some brief remarks, then said he’d take questions from the first responders. It was difficult to hear in the massive garage area, but here’s what we got from the recording:

“I want to thank the job you do, medically and the paramedics the job you do with fires, it has been incredible,” Trump said. “You do a fantastic job so we just wanted to thank you very much. So thank you all very much. We appreciate it.”https://www.youtube.com/embed/n_tLJVa6byA?feature=oembed

There were some other comments about de-regulation, the stock market and tax reform, but the audio wasn’t good enough for quotes.
