Almost 80,000 illegal immigrants approved for DACA have arrest records

Tens of thousands of illegal aliens who have successfully been granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) had prior arrest records, according to data provided by the Trump administration and by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

DACA program is designed to prevent those who came to the United States illegally as minors from deportation. The nearly 80,000 individuals who were shielded by DACA have arrest records that include arrests for violent and sexual offenses. It means one-in-ten have arrest records according to a report from the Department of Homeland Security.

The report by USCIS showed that of 889,000 applicants for the DACA program, a staggering 110,000 had previous arrest records. This makes up 12% of the total applicants. Of the approved 765,000 for DACA, 79,398 had criminal arrest history. 15,903 criminals were approved despite further subsequent arrests. 25,000 illegals were approved for DACA despite arrests for various driving offenses.

DACA enrolled 7,926 people with theft arrests, 6,892 individuals with drug-related arrests, 4,210 for drunk-driving incidents, and 3,412 for battery-related arrests. There were 587 illegal immigrants with hit-and-run arrests and 269 for robbery.

If this was not shocking and disturbing enough, several illegal immigrants who were arrested on charges for murder and rape were accepted into the program. 15 illegals with arrests for murder and 62 with arrests for rape were knowingly granted protection to stay on the streets of America and have the opportunity to offend again.

The data shows that many who were arrested continue to commit crimes and receive subsequent arrests. Obtained federal data revealed that 24,898 immigrants were detained at least two times, and 9,799 were shown to have been arrested at least three times.

Mexico is responsible for the majority of arrested DACA migrants. The report shows that 91,272 are Mexican, and most of the crimes were committed in five states. Those states include California, Texas, Florida, Illinois, and New York.

The report was released after the Obama-era program that is being examined in the Supreme Court currently. The case is being discussed more this week.

“As DACA continues to be the subject of both public discourse and ongoing litigation, USCIS remains committed to ensuring transparency and that the American people are informed about those receiving DACA,” USCIS Acting Director Ken Cuccinelli relayed in the statement.

As it stands now, the Supreme Court is closely divided, but it seems promising that they will uphold President Trump’s proposition to stop the DACA program. The court’s conservative majority appears to be open to the Trump administration’s evidence and plea for ending the policy. In 2016 the high court upheld a decision made by the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that ultimately stopped Obama’s amnesty policy named Deferred Action for Parents of Americans (DAPA). DACA is very similar to DAPA, so it seems quite possible that the Supreme Court will rule similar in this case.

Currently, there are approximately 700,000 “Dreamers” in the United States. California holds the title of the most Dreamer beneficiaries, with nearly 190,000 migrants. Texas comes in second with around 110,000.

A recent announcement made by the Trump Administration declared that there would be a proposal to increase fees on immigrants wanting to file applications in the U.S. Democrats through tremendous opposition at the $50 charge on asylum applications that were mentioned.

The fees are based on operational needs, according to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The increase in costs would be an average of 21 percent. If it was left at the current level, USCIS said they would be underfunded by at least $1.3 billion a year.

The Mexican government, along with several big businesses, is trying to persuade the Supreme Court justices to uphold DACA.

A study has shown that the population of “Dreamers” has risen by over one million since Obama took office. Former President Barack Obama announced his Rose Garden DACA amnesty for children immigrants who came to the United States before 2007.

Thousands of children have been brought over the border in the past two years because Democrats paralyzed border control. Others who contributed to this include snaky immigration lawyers, American-last judges, and cheap-labor Republicans. The massive surge of foreign parents who have children was made delectably appealing by Democrats offering secured citizenship.

The staggering number of amnesty accepters would and is having a tremendously negative impact on the American people. It has lowered American’s wages due to increasing the labor supply. Americans’ rent costs would also rise because of the growing population. American values would give way to cultural chaos.

Data shows that a DACA amnesty would result in four million young people and children. This equals the same number of Americans who will turn 18 this year. New and dangerous channels of chain migration would also be created by DACA legalization.

President Trump has been a champion for the American people. His “Hire American” policy is elevating wages by limiting immigration within our growing economy. Census Bureau data said that in 2018, full-time working men received an earnings increase of 3.4 percent, and for full-time working women, they gained 3.3 percent in wages.

Under the Trump presidency, the American economy has skyrocketed. The longest job streak on record has occurred with jobs growing for 106 plus consecutive months. The unemployment rate has dropped continuously and has helped all Americans in each wage bracket. Tax cuts have helped the middle and lower classes, and Americans appear to have more confidence to buy and invest.

Protecting the American people and maintaining a sovereign country should not be a crazy viewpoint to hold by any means. However, Democrats want to create this into something it is not. It is not racist or prejudice to demand a secure immigration policy for the United States. Uncontrolled migration will lead to our country’s downfall. The facts show it, and the data backs it up.

The long battle between the acceptance and denial of programs like DACA has been brewing for many years. Time will tell how the Supreme Court rules on this policy.
