Watch: President Trump Participates in the Shamrock Bowl Presentation by the Prime Minister of Ireland
President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump receive the Shamrock Bowl from Prime Minister Leo Varadkar of Ireland on Thursday.
Prime Minister Varadkar of Ireland will present a bowl of shamrocks in a tradition begun in 1952 when Irish Ambassador John Joseph Hearne delivered a box of shamrocks to the White House on the feast day of the Irish patron Saint.
The event is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. EDT.
