President Donald Trump will hold a credentialing ceremony for newly appointed ambassadors to Washington, D.C. then have lunch with Defense Secretary James Mattis.

On Tuesday, March 27, 2018, the President signed into law:
H.R. 2154, which redesignates the Red River Valley Agricultural Research Center in Fargo, North Dakota, as the Edward T. Schafer Agricultural Research Center;
S. 188, the “Eliminating Government-funded Oil-painting Act,” which prohibits the use of Federal funds for the costs of painting portraits of officers and employees of the Federal Government; and
S. 324, the “State Veteran Home Adult Day Health Care Improvement Act of 2017,” which requires VA to expand alternative services for veterans eligible for nursing home care.

Call With Prime Minister Theresa May Of The United Kingdom
President Donald J. Trump spoke today with Prime Minister Theresa May of the United Kingdom. Both leaders agreed on the importance of dismantling Russias spy networks in the United Kingdom and the United States to curtail Russian clandestine activities and prevent future chemical weapons attacks on either countrys soil. The two leaders also discussed how the passage of the Clarifying Lawful Overseas Use of Data (CLOUD) Act will improve law enforcement cooperation.
