MacBook Pro and Lenovo Get Highest Ratings for Laptops

It’s not too soon to be thinking about holiday purchases, and if you want to buy the best laptop that is out there, go for the Apple MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. That is the advice from RESCUECOM president David Milman, whose company repairs tens of thousands of computers annually.

The Touch Bar, available exclusively on the MacBook Pro, offers a revolutionary way to use your laptop. It is a built-in touch-enabled glass strip that replaces the old function key row and allows users to take advantage of fingerprint login, access volume and brightness controls, connect to MacOS’s version of Siri, and enable distinct touch features in various software apps.

The MacBook is thinner and lighter as well as faster and more powerful than previous versions. And it is one of the most reliable computers available, backed by Apple’s famous technical support.

Of course, all that comes with a price – it is one of the costliest laptops on the market.

The budget-conscious might want to consider the ThinkPad 13, the newest in Lenovo’s main laptop line. It offers a great deal more than others in its price range, starting at just under $500.

No laptop in this range is going to offer speed, storage, and processing power akin to higher-priced models, but the ThinkPad 13’s fairly speedy 7th-generation processor is unrivaled for the cost. It has a much sturdier design than almost any laptop on the market, around twelve hours of battery life, and full HD resolution (though it could be brighter). It also weighs less than four pounds.

Raves are also in for its keyboard, which offers amazing responsiveness as well as mouse buttons under the spacebar with a center button that can either scroll or serve as a middle-click button. Ultimately, Lenovo’s ThinkPad 13 is the best affordable productivity laptop on the market, and it has excellent reliability ratings across the board.
