Not Even Jesus is Safe as California Catholic School Removes Statues to be Inclusive
Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson, Jefferson Davis, Christopher Columbus and now even Jesus.
Leave it to the liberal weirdos on the left coast to move the goal posts in the radical left’s war on statues as a San Francisco area Catholic school has removed both Jesus Christ and Mother Mary from view at San Domenico School.
The creeping fascism behind the ouster of Jesus from a freaking Catholic school is an early sign that the leftist zealots are not simply going to stop with Confederate icons and slave owners.
They are now also targeting the very underpinnings of western civilization as the tyranny of forced diversity tightens its grip around the neck of liberty.

Via the Washington Free Beacon “California Catholic School Removes Statues of Jesus, Mary to Be More ‘Inclusive’”:
An independent K-12 Catholic school in the San Francisco Bay Area has removed religious statues from its campus in order to appeal to those of other faiths.
Parents and alumni are concerned about San Domenico School’s decision to remove a number of statutes and religious icons, especially those of Jesus and Mary, the Marin Independent Journal reported.
“Articulating an inclusive foundation appears to mean letting go of San Domenico’s 167-year tradition as a Dominican Catholic school and being both afraid and ashamed to celebrate one’s heritage and beliefs,” wrote parent Shannon Fitzpatrick in an email to school decision makers.
“In our time here, the word ‘Catholic’ has been removed from the mission statement, sacraments were removed from the curriculum, the lower school curriculum was changed to world religions, the logo and colors were changed to be ‘less Catholic,’ and the uniform was changed to be less Catholic,” she continued.
The loss of tradition and ceremony is a leading reason why families—some of whom are not Catholic—have expressed concern about the change.
“The one main statue that has everyone fired up is the baby Jesus and Mary one,” parent Kim Pipki told the Journal. Pipki said the school traditionally held a ceremony where the students would place a crown on Mary’s head.
School supporters, however, say that the removal is reflective of the school’s “inclusive” future.
According to the report on the statue removal via the Marin Independent Journal:
Of the 660 students who attend the K-12 school, 121 are boarding students and 98 of these are international students from British Columbia, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Mexico, Korea, Thailand and Vietnam. The students attending San Domenico come from a variety of religious backgrounds besides Christianity: Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam.
Stock said schools operated by the Catholic Church, such as St. Isabella, Marin Catholic and St. Anselm, tend to have larger class sizes and lower tuition costs. Tuition for an incoming kindergarten student at San Domenico is $29,850.
Skewes-Cox said, “If you walk on the campus and the first thing you confront is three or four statues of St. Dominic or St. Francis, it could be alienating for that other religion, and we didn’t want to further that feeling.”
Stock said the parents of some prospective students who visited the campus expressed concern about this.
AND
Rather than indoctrinate students in Catholic theology, San Domenico provides students with instruction in world religions and philosophy.
“It’s really about empowering each student and giving them the information so they can discover their own purpose, their own truth,” Stock said. “We believe the best way to understand your own faith is to learn about the faiths of others.”
Some parents are justifiably upset over the new direction as well they should be considering how costly that tuition is at the school.
The calls for being “inclusive” however fail to recognize that it is a CATHOLIC school and it is difficult to see how the removal of statues of Jesus and the virgin Mary are compatible with that very specific definition otherwise why bother even calling it a CATHOLIC school in the first place.
The cultural creepy crawlers have been very busy in California and the radical transformation of that particular state is a barometer of what will be enforced against the rest of the country if God forbid, the Democrats are ever to regain power.
