Don Jr. Comes Clean With E-mails, Hillary Obfuscates

President Donald Trump applauded Tuesday afternoon his son’s transparency after he released four pages of emails where he accepted an offer to receive damaging information on Crooked Hillary from a Russian lawyer.

“My son is a high-quality person and I applaud his transparency,” White House spokesman Sarah Sanders said as she delivered the statement on the president’s behalf during Tuesday’s White House press briefing.

While Crooked Hillary and her staff used bleach bit to delete her emails, the Trump family is all about TRANSPARENCY, and our President appreciates that from his son,” Sanders continued.

In a tweet issued before 6:30 a.m., Trump called his son “innocent,” and praised his Tuesday night interview on the Fox News Channel show “Hannity,” in which he defended himself. The president repeated his mantra on the Russia controversy, again calling it “the greatest Witch Hunt in political history.”

“My son Donald did a good job last night,” Trump wrote on Twitter, referring to a television interview by his son late Tuesday on the issue. “He was open, transparent and innocent. This is the greatest Witch Hunt in political history. Sad!”

 

Trump Jr. released emails earlier in the day between him and Rob Goldstone, a British publicist.

Goldstone told Trump Jr. in June 2016 that he could get him “official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father.”

This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump,” Goldstone added. Trump Jr. replied, “if it’s what you say I love it especially later in the summer.”

On Tuesday, White House counsel Jay Sekulow told Sean Hannity that there is absolutely no “illegality” in what Don Jr. did last June. Sekulow went on to explain how this type of meeting is a common political practice and that “nothing actually happened”.

When Sekulow divulged more information about the meeting itself, it’s clear that there was NOTHING criminal about what was talked about:

“Well, the interview with the lawyer establishes that in fact, the meeting, in reality, had nothing to do with anything involving the election. That she was basically lobbying for a change in a law” said Sekulow. “Here’s what we do know: nothing happened. She got no documents, no documents were released, no documents were given out, nothing on Hillary Clinton, no follow-up, no case, no issue, done” he added.

What do you really have here? You have a meeting that produced nothing. That’s not a crime,” he added.

At least Don Jr. was honest and open about releasing all his e-mails as compared to Hillary Clinton who deleted 20,000 subpoenaed e-mails and had 13 subpoenaed computers destroyed both which are crimes punishable by prison terms.

Sean and Jay Sekulow also brought up the fact that officials in the Ukraine met with officials of the Clintons to give them information on Trump.  A report in Politico detailed how veteran Democratic operative Alexandra Chalupa, a former Clinton administration staffer who maintained “strong ties to the Ukrainian-American diaspora and the US Embassy in Ukraine,” met with Ukrainian Ambassador Valeriy Chaly and Oksara Shulyar, one of his aides, at the Ukrainian embassy in March 2016 to discuss revealing information on Paul Manafort’s connections to Russia. The conversation happened just days before Manafort, a former adviser to ousted Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, was brought on as Trump’s campaign chairman.

“The day after Manafort’s hiring was revealed, she briefed the DNC’s communications staff on Manafort, Trump and their ties to Russia, according to an operative familiar with the situation,” Politico reported.

White House rapid response director Andy Hemming blasted out the story to a press email list on Monday.This, he said, was “active coordination” with a foreign government,”Given the news that has been swirling today, I just wanted to remind everyone that the DNC explicitly worked with the Ukrainian government to undermine then-candidate Trump,” he said of the Politico report. “This constitutes clear, active coordination between the DNC and a foreign government.”

Hillary also signed off on the Uranium One deal with nine others which gave Russia 20% of our uranium. She, in turn, got over100 million dollars for the deal and Uranium One gave two million to the Clinton Foundation. That’s the real Russian collusion in the DNC, not Trump, but the media has this ongoing tin foil hat obsession with Russia and Trump and not reporting all the good things he’s doing for America. This is all is a big set-up about getting Trump out of office and putting Hillary in her rightful place as President in their minds. Kelly Anne Conway recently told CNN host Chris Cuomo, “Aren’t you embarrassed to be talking about Russia all the time instead of America?”

Meanwhile, Democrats have no ideas of their own for problem-solving; they’re not capable of positive contributions. They’re lazy, broken down, paralyzed and ineffective. They’re also insanely corrupt.  Soooo, they squawk about irrelevant matters and hype hysteria. Meanwhile, they demand that Americans overlook their own corruption. It’s getting boring. Really & truly Trump & Sessions need to slap them down.
