Protesters held Rallies across the United States gathered on Saturday to denounce Sharia law, the Islamic legal and moral code that organizers say poses a threat to American freedoms. ACT for America, a self-described grassroots organization focusing on national security, staged rallies in New York, Chicago, Boston, Denver, and Seattle, as well as many smaller cities.
Counter protestors clashed with the protestors saying it was an anti-Muslim protest. Talbot Sleater, a 62-year-old construction foreman, said that the Seattle protest was the first of the kind that he had attended. A Briton who moved to the United States, he said he had decided to go after recent attacks in his home country.”People are being run over in the street with trucks and little kids are being blown up,” Sleater said, referring to recent attacks in London and Manchester. “I don’t want that to happen here.”
Unfortunately there is a large faction in this country that are trying to get Sharia law established here as more and more Muslims enter in here….and the sad part about this is that there are those in our government that would support it. Sharia law should never be allowed in this country.
On its website, ACT described sharia, which covers many aspects of Muslim life including religious obligations and financial dealings, as incompatible with human rights. It said sharia justifies the oppression of women and homosexuality and advocates female genital mutilation.
Under Sharia Law, women can’t go outside unless they have permission from their husband, they can’t go to school, they are told what to wear, have to stay covered and can’t drive and can’t speak with another man unless they are related to him. among other repressive acts against women. Sharia also favors female genital mutilation.
One of the leading organizers of the anti-Sharia protest is Brigitte Gabriel, an American conservative journalist, author, political lecturer, anti-Islam activist, and founder of two non-profit political organizations, the American Congress For Truth and ACT! for America. ACT! for America has been described by her critics as “anti-Muslim. “. Her organization, ACT! for America, has been described by the New York Times as drawing “on three rather religious and partisan streams in American politics: evangelical Christian conservatives, hard-line defenders of Israel (both Jews and Christians) and Tea Party Republicans. In 2009, Gabriel stated Islam “promotes intolerance and violence”, and that “Moderate Muslims must organize and engage those enlightened, educated and westernized Muslims in the community to begin a dialogue to discuss the possibility of reform in Islam just as Christianity and Judaism have been reformed. Two cases involving refugees, one in Canada (a Muslim) and one in the US (a ‘Christian’) tell the courts the same thing—no one told them it was against the law to beat your wife (in the first case) or your children (in the second case). They claim they come from cultures where it is ok!
We are hearing more and more of this as more and more refugees are entering here. Islam does not assimilate and they expect you to assimilate to them once they get in the majority. That’s why Islam especially Sharia is totally incompatible with western civilization. The newer immigrants are bringing their culture in here instead of assimilating to ours like generations before have.
In Virgina, an Imam was dismissed by the mosque’s board of directors because he advocated for female genital mutilation. The Board of Directors at the Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church said Monday that Imam Shaker Elsayed’s seeming endorsement of the outlawed practice as “the honorable thing to do if needed” ran afoul of both U.S. and Islamic law.
In his lecture, a video of which appeared on the mosque’s YouTube channel, Elsayed spoke about circumcision as the cutting of “the tip of the sexually sensitive part of the girl so that she is not hypersexually active.” He warned about the dangers of more serious forms of the procedure, but advised congregants to seek the advice of a Muslim gynecologist to see whether minimal action was necessary. In Michigan a doctor was charged Thursday with performing female genital mutilation on minors in the first such case that falls under a U.S. law treating the practice as a felony offense, according to the Department of Justice.
Dr. Jumana Nagarwala of Northville, Mich., allegedly performed female genital mutilation on girls at a medical office in Livonia, Mich. According to the complaint, some of the victims, who were between the ages of 6 and 8, allegedly crossed state lines to have Nagarwala perform the procedure.
“According to the complaint, despite her oath to care for her patients, Dr. Nagarwala is alleged to have performed horrifying acts of brutality on the most vulnerable victims,” Acting Assistant Attorney General Kenneth Blanco said. “The Department of Justice is committed to stopping female genital mutilation in this country, and will use the full power of the law to ensure that no girls suffer such physical and emotional abuse.”
The procedure is prevalent in some majority Muslim countries and is sometimes called “cleansing” by its practitioners. It involves the partial or total removal of the external female genitalia, often performed without anesthesia. It is designed to ensure females remain virgins until marriage.
According to a 2013 census by the Population Reference Bureau, approximately 500,000 women and girls in the United States have undergone the procedure or are at risk of the procedure.
Author and lecturer Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Sharia law on the world, ripping Western law and liberty in two.
She recently authored the book, Cruel and Usual Punishment: The Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law. Darwish was born in Cairo and spent her childhood in Egypt and Gaza before immigrating to America in 1978, when she was eight years old. Her father died while leading covert attacks on Israel . He was a high-ranking Egyptian military officer stationed with his family in Gaza.
But Darwish developed a skeptical eye at an early age. She questioned her own Muslim culture and upbringing. She converted to Christianity after hearing a Christian preacher on television. Here is her warning from one who was there and lived it in her recent book.

The Sharia Muslim law controls the private as well as the public life of the woman.
In the Western World ( Canada , Australia , United States and Britain ) Muslim men are starting to demand Sharia Law so the wife cannot obtain a divorce and he can have full and complete control of her. It is amazing and alarming how many of our sisters and daughters attending American, Canadian, Universities and British Universities are now marrying Muslim men and submitting themselves and their children unsuspectingly to the Sharia law.
For the West, she says radical Islamists are working to impose sharia on the world. If that happens, Western civilization will be destroyed. Westerners generally assume all religions encourage a respect for the dignity of each individual. Islamic law (Sharia) teaches that non-Muslims should be subjugated or killed in this world.
Peace and prosperity for one’s children is not as important as assuring that Islamic law rules everywhere in the Middle East and eventually in the world.
While Westerners tend to think that all religions encourage some form of the golden rule, Sharia teaches two systems of ethics – one for Muslims and another for non-Muslims.

they will do so… You can look at how they have almost taken over several towns in the USA .. Dearborn Mich. is one and there are others…. Britain has several cities now with Sharia Law controlled zones, totally controlled by Muslims). We must not let it happen here!!!
