The Secret Service locked down the White House grounds at 4:26 pm eastern time on Tuesday due to a person jumping over the “bike rack” fencing.

So-called bike racks are actually 3-foot tall fences that are placed several feet outside the much taller and stronger steel security fencing.
The fence jumper is now in custody and the U.S. Secret Service is investigating the matter.
