As the official schedule has no public events on it, CDN will update this post with observations and updates – check back often
President Donald Trump’s official schedule lists no public events for the weekend but just like last weekend, that doesn’t mean he’s just vegging out at the White House.
On Saturday, the president reportedly spent the day on the phone and in meetings although the topics of conversation were not made public.
Sunday started off with an unannounced trip away from the White House by car.
The motorcade left the White House Sunday morning en route to an undisclosed location. There’s good money on the bet that the black car parade is headed for the Trump National Golf Course.
Senator Rand Paul exited the motorcade alongside the president at Trump National Golf Course Sunday morning.
White House Deputy Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham said that the president will be playing golf with Senator Paul and Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney while they discuss the Trump agenda.
“They’re discussing a variety of topics, including healthcare,” Grisham said.
The president returned to the White House Sunday evening after a day golfing.
The White House has not announced whether or not Ivanka and Jared will be joining their father for Sunday dinner this week.
