Democrat Chief Inquisitor Adam Schiff Suggests that Devin Nunes is Trump’s Puppet

Congressman Devin Nunes announced that the Obama regime may have abused domestic surveillance programs for political purposes and Democrats are circling the wagons.

The California Republican currently heads up the House Intelligence Committee and has come under intense fire since he made his revelation with many on the left demanding his resignation. Nunes infuriated Democrat chief inquisitor Adam Schiff on Friday by interrupting the Trump-Russia witch hunt to call FBI Director James Comey back to testify in a closed session.

Last Wednesday, Nunes rocked the world of the anti-Trump forces when he suggested that he had received new information regarding the president’s accusation that he had been “wiretapped” by Barack Obama. Information that could vindicate Trump despite the media’s harping on the archaic term “wiretapping” with true Clintonian word parsing in order to deny that Obama regime officials may have used the formidable surveillance apparatus to spy on Trump transition team members.

It’s not a good sign for Comey who was as slippery as an eel during his much-hyped testimony last Monday but may not get away with his trickery the second time around – especially if Nunes asks the right questions. One of them should involve the FBI’s interview of whistleblower and former CIA-NSA contractor Dennis Montgomery who accumulated 47 hard drives with over 600 million pages of documents showing mass surveillance activities while working for the feds. Conservative watchdog Larry Klayman of Freedom Watch sent the entire committee a letter detailing Montgomery’s claims and is suggesting that Comey was instrumental in burying the story.

The shocking developments took the wind out of chief inquisitor Schiff’s sails and the Californian is not happy over having his show trial spoiled. The hearings into alleged Russian involvement with putting Trump into the White House has been a colossal farce with the shifty Schiff making the infamous Senator Joseph McCarthy look like an amateur.

Schiff is now accusing Nunes of being a puppet of President Trump and by extension another of those damned agents of Putin who are EVERYWHERE if one listens to Democrats and their media allies who have howled like banshees for over seven months despite not having one shred of actual evidence.

These actions did not sit well with the committee’s ranking Democrat, Adam Schiff. In Schiff’s view, Nunes should feel an obligation to protect the independence of his investigation — not to combat unfavorable media coverage of the president.

But Nunes seems to think otherwise: On Friday, the GOP lawmaker abruptly canceled an open hearing scheduled for next Tuesday, at which former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and former CIA Director John Brennan were all set to testify.

Nunes explained that the hearing would be postponed, so as to allow FBI director James Comey and NSA director Mike Rogers to address the committee in closed session.

Schiff believes Nunes’s true motive is to spare the president a bad news cycle. And he isn’t afraid to say so.

“I think that there must have been a very strong pushback from the White House about the nature of Monday’s hearing,” Schiff said. “It’s hard for me to come to any other conclusion about why an agreed-upon hearing would be suddenly canceled.”

Judging by the reaction to Nunes’ bombshell it looks as though whatever material that was passed on to him could have grave consequences for Obama administration figures and perhaps even the former POTUS himself. It could even collapse the entire Trump-Putin house of cards which is getting more unstable by the day much to the chagrin of the tinfoil hat wearing left.

Schiff will continue to sling mud at his fellow committee member while dishonest anti-Trump media megaphones like the Washington Post will work to undermine what could be a monster political scandal that could land a few of Obama’s little elves behind bars.

The efforts to cast a pall of suspicion on Nunes is just the latest example of the type of sleazy red-baiting that has swept the country since the publication of internal emails from the DNC showed that Hillary loyalists worked to undermine Bernie Sanders in the primaries. The WikiLeaks release of over 55,000 emails from Democrat sleazeball and Clinton campaign manager John Podesta’s personal account also fueled anti-Russian hysteria as the left and their cultivated network of presstitutes in the media sought a diversion from how the sausage was really made in Washington.

It was more than a bit ironic to hear Schiff griping about President Trump making “baseless accusations” when he delivered the Weekly Democratic Address on Saturday when his conduct during his sordid Stalinist show trial clearly shows that he is the reigning champion of such statements. That Schiff would be the one to deliver the party’s weekly message shows just how much of a partisan affair that the attempts to paint Trump as an agent of the Kremlin are, quite frankly it’s all they’ve got.

Comey and NSA head Admiral Mike Rogers are slated to do their Q&A with the committee on Monday. Oh, to be a fly on the wall!
