Trump Is Right

When Donald Trump first made his now famous statement about Mexico not sending us their best, the critics immediately jumped on him and said he was through at that point. The statistics show that he was right.

The number of criminal aliens in federal prisons in fiscal year 2010 was about 55,000, and the number criminal alien incarcerations in state prison systems and local jails was about 296,000 in fiscal year 2009 (the most recent data available), and the majority were from Mexico.” . Namely that illegals and non-citizens make up 3% and 8% of the population, respectively, but commit at least 22% to 37% of the murders. Illegals likely commit murder at about 10 times the rate of all U.S.inhabitants.  https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2015/07/illegal_aliens_murder_at_a_much_higher_rate_than_us_citizens_do.html#ixzz3ikabvleb

Trump followed that with his statement about John McCain not being a hero because he was captured and said he likes heroes that aren’t captured. Again the critics pounded on him saying how dare he say such a thing, but further research shows that McCain was treated better than the rest of his fellow soldiers once his captors found that father and grandfather were admirals in the navy and he made 30 speeches against America for  his captors. Trump was right in that a real hero is one that goes above and beyond the call of duty to put his life on the line to save his fellow soldiers and not get caught. There were many heroes like that you never hear about. McCain and the POW cover-up

Again trump surged in the polls in spite of the critics saying he was through.

Then came the debate and when Meghyn Kelly asked the candidates who wouldn’t sign a pledge not to go third party, Trump raised his hand. Again the critics said he was through and again he surged in the polls. Trump said afterwards on Sean Hannity’s show that he did that to gain leverage. He was saying to FOX to treat me fairly and I won’t go third party. That made good business sense and that’s what a good businessman does when making a deal with another company. The problem is that the media and country has been so dumbed down and full of political correct BS that they can’t recognize that.  Trump wrote his best seller “The Art of the Deal” and tells just how to do acts like that to gaining leverage when negotiating a deal. In his book he also says not to apologize and that “if someone screws you, you screw them back.” That’s just what he does. Trump has shown himself to be a tough person and if you push him, he pushes back harder. That’s the trouble with our country today. Every time you turn around there’s somebody asking someone else to apologize. Do you think the rest of the world doesn’t see this? No wonder our friends don’t trust us anymore or enemies don’t fear us. We’re becoming a nation of wimps and whiners.

I recently saw this comment from a reader to a site that nails it completely:

TRUMP is RIGHT! Everyone knows he’s right but are too pussyfied to admit it or are too angry and Demonrats to believe it. Politicians are saying the same things, political speech and what they’ve done for their state, district, etc. Trump is a businessman and will cross borders to get things done but he won’t sit down with the enemy, who wants to kill us, and negotiate a stupid deal in which we get nothing in return. He is for making America great again, he is for Israel, he’s against Obamacare, he is against ISIS, and also sharia law in this country, he wants a secure border, he wants to stop illegal immigration, he doesn’t want amnesty for illegal aliens, he is for rebuilding w our Military, he is for our active Veterans and taking care of our retired and wounded Vets. I haven’t heard any of the other candidates talk about the majority of these things yet.

More surprising is the fact that Trump is picking up support from Hispanics, blacks and republican women and here is why:

People are angry and are willing to champion a bombastic billionaire best known for insulting people as our next president. Trump’s “campaign message” is vitriol unleashed – towards our enemies, undocumented immigrants and anyone else who crosses his path. His supporters see him breaking free of political correctness, or correctness itself for that matter, and they love Trump for voicing their outrage. They view him as the perfect antidote to President Obama.

Under President Obama, Americans have become more polarized on race relations and immigration, and nearly every other issue as well. This is uncontestable. A poll this past spring showed that 61 percent of Americans think race relations are “bad,” the highest reading since 1992, while only 34 percent think they are “good.” In the summer of 2008, before Obama’s election, 53 percent of the country considered race relations good and only 37 percent considered them bad. That’s quite a turnabouthttps://finance.yahoo.com/news/obama-massive-failure-delivered-trump-093000496.html?soc_src=mail&soc_trk=ma

Much of his support comes from Trump’s position as a non-politician unafraid to speak his mind and speak on issues important to voters. If the Trump campaign fades, the Republican Party owes him an appreciation for identifying voters who want something different from the GOP without deserting the party. https://redalertpolitics.com/2015/08/12/donald-trump-top-pick-among-republican-women/#x5CeG6S7JZfClFPy.99
