Obama: The Man Who Would Be King
When Obama first took office and again this time he places his hand on the Bible and says he will defend and protect the constitution of the United States from all enemies both foreign and domestic.
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; …”
Since being in office he has failed to do that instead opting to do what he wants when things don’t go his way thus being an imperial president trashing the constitution instead. He has said that “when congress fails to act he’ll do it on his own.” He has used his Executive Order power to halt the deportation of illegal immigrants and made recess appointments while congress was still in session (no president has ever done that before) and this is only the beginning. He has also made changes in welfare requirements for individual states without consulting congress.
Now he says he plans to use his E.O to limit gun rights. In other words Obama is considering bypassing congress on gun legislation without considering their approval. In a meeting with Joe Biden, the NRA accused the white house of having an agenda to attack the second amendment.
They are talking about reinstating the assault rifle ban. Last time when the assault rifle ban was in place Columbine happened so that failed. This whole gun legislation pandemonium is a result of recent acts like with Gabby Giffords, Aurrora, Colorado and in Sandy Hook. In each of these mass killings the killers from Columbine to the Gabby Giffords shooter, to the Aurora theater shooter and now Newtown were all on psychotropic drugs. That I think is where the real problem lies and where legislation should be looked at. Adolph Hitler once said that “ to enslave a nation take away their arms.”
I also remind you that our Constitution includes the 2nd Amendment:
“…the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
Any Senator who proposes legislation that attempts to overturn or limit the Second Amendment is in violation of their oath and they must be removed from office. Their act must be considered an act of Treason against the United States of America and should be prosecuted as such.
One in four American children are on food stamps, we have a President who threatens to ignore the Constitution by confiscating the guns of law abiding citizens and break the law by spending trillions more than Congress has authorized and appropriated.
Certainly no President has so regularly threatened extra-Constitutional action as has Barack Obama. In order to pass his Obamacare Obama bribed Senator Ben Nelson of Nebraska and Senator Mary Landrieu of La. with medicare benefits for their state. Obamacare is more than just healthcare, it’s total government control of your life. Everything will be based on cost and affordability by the government and the extent of your lifespan. A 15 member government panel will decide who gets what healthcare in the form of procedures, etc. Doctors will be rationed. To enslave a nation to government control you go thru healthcare.
In 2007 Obama said in an interview that Executive Orders lead to an abuse of power and said he hoped he wouldn’t have to use that in an Obama administration. HUH??? You’ve come a long way Barack.!!!!!
