Obama, The Bamboozler In Chief

Believe this or not, but the day Obama burst on the national scene, my gut told me he was nothing but a phony. When he won the election, I could not believe the American people fell for his bull, to me he was nothing but a slick used car salesman, it seems I was right. Obama made empty promise after empty promise, thinking the American people would all be mesmerized by his eloquent speeches. Well, it seemed to work for three years, but I do believe the party is over, people will believe bull only for so long. Just like the old saying goes, “You can fool some of the people all the time, and all the people some of the time, but you can’t fool all the people all the time.” He is about to learn that lesson.

I took it upon myself to look back and list many of the empty promises he has made; this is what I have come up with.

Obama said: If we pass his stimulus bill, unemployment will not go above 8%
Reality: When Obama took office the unemployment rate was 7.8% Now it is 8.2% It has been over 8% for over 40 straight months.

Obama said: Guantanamo will be closed one year after he takes office.
Reality;:Last time I looked up Guantanamo, it was still in operation.

Obama said: Pass his stimulus bill, because every state has shovel ready jobs just waiting to be funded.
Reality: Obama said after the stimulus bill passed, “Shovel ready was not as shovel ready as we expected.” By the way, he said this while chuckling. (Big joke on the American people)

Obama said: “Tell the lobbyists in Washington that their day of setting the agenda are over. They have not funded my campaign. They will not work in my White House.”
Reality: Obama appointed 17 lobbyists to high positions in his administration in the first 14 days.

Obama said: The summer of 2010 was going to be the summer of recovery.
Reality: 2012 we are entering our 3rd summer of recovery, but there is no recovery in sight.

Obama said: ‘There is not a white America or black America, not a red America or a blue America, only the United States Of America.” The uniter in chief.
Reality: In the 60 years I have spent on this earth, I have never seen this country more divided. The divider in chief.

Obama said: “We cannot and will not sustain deficits like these without end.” “Today I am pledging to cut the deficits in half, by the end of my first term in office.”
Reality: Obama added over 5 trillion dollars to the deficit.

Obama said: No one making under $250,000 a year will see any new taxes, not one dime.
Reality: With the passage of ObamaCare, The country will see the biggest tax increase in our history.

Obama Said: The new healthcare law is not a tax.
Reality: Well, the Supreme Court declared it is a tax.

In November we have another election, an election which many feel (as I do) is the most important in the last hundred years. The lines are clearly drawn; a vote for Obama is a vote for bigger government and more government control of our lives. There are other issues also to consider, but those two issues are the most important to me and I think to the majority of the country. Many of the people who voted for Obama last time are disillusioned and rightly so, he has been a failure as a leader. With over 63% of the people against ObamaCare, we can only hope that they all turn out to vote. He bamboozled the American people in 2008, Let’s hope America has wised up.

This is one man’s opinion.
