Garland Linked To Group Promoting Critical Race Theory As DoJ Attacks CRT Critics

US Attorney General Merrick Garland is raising eyebrows in the aftermath of the Department of Justice (DoJ) announcement it would coordinate investigations of threats against school board members championing Critical race Theory, due to his ties to a company that creates pro-CRT materials for schools.

Garland is facing fresh scrutiny for his ties to PanoramaEd, a company that promotes the type of pro-CRT content parents are opposing in ongoing battles with local school boards. 

“Merrick Garland has declared a war on parents,” Asra Nomani of Parents Defending Education (PDE) tweeted Tuesday. “His daughter is married to the co-founder of @PanoramaEd which is under fire for its multimillion contracts with school boards. At @DefendingEd, parents sent us tips. We raised the alarm. Now Garland is trying to silence parents.”

The New York Times reported in 2018 that Garland’s daughter, Rebecca, had married PanoramaEd co-founder Xan Tanner.

PanoramaEd’s ties to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg have also raised concerns because of Facebook’s now exposed uses of data and how it impacts users’ psychological health.

Zuckerberg’s charitable foundation – dubbed the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative – was listed in 2017 as one of several organizations that gave a collective $16 million to PanoramaEd.

Garland announced Monday that he would coordinate investigations of alleged threats against school board members across the nation after a controversial and ideologically opportunistic letter was issued by the National School Boards Association suggesting that parents were engaging in “domestic terrorism.”

Ever since the Biden administration came to office and the country has taken a turn toward Fascism, parents have been fighting “Woke” indoctrination in schools fueled both at the administrative and classroom levels.

Why This Is Important

This is an obvious conflict of interest and Garland should cede any decision-making on this issue to a designated subordinate. For him to have family ties to a company with a contract to promote Critical Race Theory anywhere, less a school district makes him ineligible to be objective.

But then, that is the ongoing issue with the Biden administration starting from the very beginning with Hunter Biden, the Ukrainians and the Chinese, to almost every major appointment he has made to positions of influence. There is always an element of cronyism and almost always a conflict of interest.

The fact that the Biden administration is doubling down on CRT by ordering the DoJ to champion those promoting it and labeling concerned parents as “domestic terrorists” speaks volumes to their Marxist-heavy Fascist agenda for our nations.

In fact, with parents waking up to the agenda being promoted in our schools and both protesting and removing their children from government-run schools, they are almost forced to push the poison of a racist theory – and the key word there is theory – onto the children so that they might advance their ideology generationally, as they have been since the Wilson Era.

To cut all the heads off the hydra, we all must stand up in defiance at school board meetings, aggressively vet each educator, demand transparency in the classroom (to the point of passworded cameras for parents), and find alternatives for our children for the coup de gras which is college.

We have been lax because we trusted our education system. We should have stopped when they stopped teaching US history, morphing it into social studies and ending even that coursework at Reconstruction.
