Senator Rand Paul Absolutely Wrecks Democrats, Major League Baseball, and Coke

While appearing last night on Martha MacCallum’s show “The Story”, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) absolutely eviscerated Major League Baseball and Coke. He plainly stated that if they continue to reject us and become Democratic companies, then a boycott of their products is now in order. While not ideal, this sets up a scenario where there are Blue companies and Red companies.

The Daily Wire reported the following:

“They started it. Major League Baseball wants to boycott the whole state of Georgia, including Atlanta. They’ve already gotten rid of the All-Star Game and the draft, and they’re doing it because they don’t like a Republican law — a law that actually expands voting; it doesn’t contract voting. Georgia now has more early voting than New York has. It’s kind of ridiculous; even the facts don’t meet what they’re trying to do.”

“But my point is, yeah, they want to boycott us, why don’t we boycott them,” Paul continued, segueing to companies with headquarters in Atlanta and slammed the voting bill. “This is the only thing that will teach them a lesson. If Coca-Cola wants to only operate in Democrat states and wants only Democrats to drink Coca-Cola, God love ’em. We’ll see how well they do when half of the country is drinking Coca-Cola, when half of the country quits using Delta. So the thing is, they’re all woke but they’re really doing something against the financial interest of every business. Publicly-traded businesses usually don’t get involved with politics because it hurts their bottom line to make half the country unhappy.”

Paul absolutely destroyed MLB and the Democrats by calling out MLB for still doing business with China and then acting as if they cared about free elections. I reported Monday on Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) and the letter he wrote to MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred.

Rubio rightly implied that Manfred was 100 percent engaging in a hypocritical double standard, as Leftists are prone to do, by supporting the decision to remove the All-Star Game from Georgia because of criticism that the state’s new voting law discriminates against Black voters in metropolitan Atlanta. He also said the decision to move the All-Star Game “will have a bigger impact on countless small and minority-owned businesses in and around Atlanta, than the new election law ever will.”

Paul then ripped apart the MLB and the Democrats, calling out the MLB for still doing business with China and then acting like they care about free elections. The Kentucky senator really took it to the Democrats and especially Joe Biden. The former VP has labeled the Georgia voter ID law as “Jim Crow” when in all actuality it expands voting. Further, the inconvenient truth Democrats don’t like to discuss since they were responsible for the original Jim Crow.

“But the whole thing about this, I can’t imagine, they’re boycotting the Georgia state law and yet they do business with China. China’s never seen a free election. China’s now putting people in jail for over a year at a time, for speech violations. And yet they do business with China, but Georgia expanded their voting, they added early voting, more early voting than Delaware or New York, and yet they’re punishing Georgia because they think it’s somehow some sort of Jim Crow. These people holding up Jim Crow signs need to remember it was the Democrats who instituted Jim Crow across the South; it’s the legacy of the Democrat Party, and what Republicans have done in Georgia is expand voting access, if you read the bill.”

Moreover, it wasn’t until recently that MLB finally returned to full strength given that many consumers turned away from the sport due to the strike-shortened season in 1994 that impacted the sport for over a decade.

No one was safe in this interview as Senator Paul went after Stacey Abrams for costing Georgia over $100 million dollars they would have gained had the MLB All-Star Game remained in Atlanta. The last time the All-Star Game was held in Atlanta was in 2000. These opportunities don’t come around all too often.

If people allow the social justice warriors that are in the ranks of the Democratic Party to continue, people will suffer personally and economically. Democrats have significant power throughout the Peach State.  They constantly ruin what they touch. It is vital the voters in the state hold them accountable in 2022.
